No one to hurt her
“You can't deny it, no matter what, you are attracted to me,” Luciano said breathlessly when Olive pushed him away and landed a heavy slap across his face. Her anger was justified, he was mistaken. He had no right to kiss her, but the feeling of knowing she was alive overwhelmed him.
“Ah, aren't you ashamed…after what you did… how dare you to lay your filthy hands on me,” it was unbelievable, he was a shameless man to even get close to her. After he betrayed her trust, “I gave everything, I loved you more than life itself but what did I get huh… you killed my family… my mother, my father, and little brother who did nothing but shower you with love,” she wanted to avoid crying but recalled all the lovely moments they spent together with her family. And being reminded of how he brutally killed the people who cared about him. Olivia felt hot liquid dripping from her eyes. Luciano wanted to hold her. To apologize to her.
“Have you forgotten, Mr. Garcia, how did you kill my child?” She said, looking him straight in the eyes, he didn't say away. The silence said it all. He remembered that night, a night she was happy and wanted to be with him. But he did more harm than good.
“I'm sorry,” he muttered and shockingly dropped to his knees and lowered his head, "I'm a monster… A monster who couldn't save the woman he loved… I deserve your hatred… I deserve everything bad… but I was left with no choice,” Luciano muttered, knowing full well, killing his love and his unborn child was the cruelest thing a man could ever do. But he had no choice, everything fell apart.
“There's no point in talking to a murderer… now you know I'm alive, do you want to kill me… but not to worry, I don't need to hide anymore,” Olivia spat out disdainfully, his existence would only last for a few months. He was already a dead man. The same way he killed her and their unborn baby. It was the same way he was going to die.
“ Forgive me… I'm willing to make it up to you, I…”
“You and your family will suffer, your mother did what she thought was right for her family…so I'll do what, I think, is justice for my family,” Antonia wanted revenge for whatever happened in the past, she went to any length to achieve that, so why not return the favor.
“That's not you, Olivia, I know…”
“Forget what happened in the past… you had your chance, but you ruined it… don't make me do something we both will regret… get ready Luciano,” saying that, she turned away from him and pressed the button on the elevator and waited for the doors to open…shortly after, the doors opened and Olivia stepped out leaving Luciano still on his knees. Even if he begged for a hundred years, it wouldn't change the fact that he stained his hands with innocent blood.
“Madam is everything okay” while lost in thoughts, Olivia was startled by one of the guards, she nodded and walked away. Her mood was ruined, who knew she would meet Luciano of all people, But she wasn't going to let his presence ruin what she planned for Pedro. She was going to buy something for Pedro.
While Olivia was busy buying something for Pedro, Alfredo had dragged Sydney toward one of the changing rooms, which was empty and locked them both inside.
“I quit, I'm no longer your employee, so let me go,” she spat out bitterly and tried to get away from him…he was making things difficult for both of them.
“I didn't receive any resignation letter… and who gave you the right to stop coming to the office without telling me,” he muttered and slipped his arm around her waist and slammed her to him. Sydney swallowed hard as she attempted to keep him off her.
“I owe you no explanation… I hate you, Alfredo… don't even,” Sydney lashed out when he cut her off with a kiss. So, unexpectedly, she fought to keep him away, but unfortunately, he slammed her against the wall. Grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head and deepened the kiss. His teeth nibbled and teased her lower lip to open up for him. Sydney was slowly losing it, the way he kissed, using his free hand to hold her neck firmly drove her insane that she found herself kissing him back. Alfredo saw her desperation and released her hands.
“Mmm,” both moaned as they lost in each other's passion, Sydney's hands slipped inside his shirt and caressed him. Before she knew it, her shirt was pulled up when Alfredo broke the kiss for them to take a breather.
“No. Stop it now,” Sydney murmured breathlessly, this wasn't right. She couldn't do this. Alfredo was the enemy, regardless of what she had to hate him.
“Stop this now… we both know you want me,” he whispered and cupped her face, she was delicate and breathing heavily. Her eyes said it all, her skin was craving to be touched. Alfredo kissed her again, but she pushed him away.
“Your brother killed Olivia and her family, I'm sure you know she's alive… I'm on Olivia's side… you are… our enemy, so stay away!” Sydney spat out, wore back her shirt and pushed him aside.
“I want you, not just to play around or sneak to see each other… give me a chance,” Alfredo mumbled before Sydney opened the door. She stopped in her tracks abruptly. Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing his words. Swallowing hard, Sydney shook her head in denial.
“You shouldn't make this complicated… we have nothing in common… I want to see you again,” Sydney remarked with great difficulty, each word piercing her heart like a sharp blade. But she was mistaken, Alfredo did not deserve her love. He was the enemy, his family ruined her life and caused her so much pain.
With that, Sydney left the changing room, her heart was heavy, tears lingering in her eyes, this was difficult for her. Despite how much she tried to bury what she felt for Alfredo. She couldn't betray Olivia.
When Sydney left searching for Olivia, Alfredo regained his senses and left the changing room. He still had to work hard to win Sydney back. He knew she felt something for him. He just needed to talk to Olivia.
“Whatever it is…do it… I don't care what happens to him…he's a filthy monster,” Alfredo heard Luciano's voice once he reached an isolated passageway. He stopped and saw his brother talking on the phone angrily.
“He stole her from me… do everything in your power to make sure he suffers…,” Luciano continued talking on the phone, the entire time Alfredo was standing behind him waiting for the call to end…and when Luciano was done, he disconnected the car. Turned around and stopped when he found Alfredo.
“Dammit, you scared me… are you done?” Luciano asked while scrolling through his phone.
“Just leave him alone,” Alfredo muttered calmly, he heard everything Luciano said, and he was against it.
“Why should I… or do you consider him as your brother? He's a filthy Ramirez with dirty blood running through his veins,” Luciano said coldly, he found out about Pedro being Garcia from his mother…he should have known this but not to worry, he wasn't going to let a man like him have a last name like Garcia.
“For dad… Don't hurt him,” Alfredo remarked, he knew Pedro was their half-brother, but the bloodshed was enough.
“It's either you side with your family or that monster… I'm your brother, not him,”
“It doesn't matter, just stop all this…because I'm tired of it… for once, no more bloodshed,” he was done watching people kill each other. Things which happened in the past were irrelevant, everyone should move on and start afresh.
“Do you care about him…is he more important than me?” Luciano asked, narrowing his eyes coldly, it seemed Alfredo had a soft spot for Pedro.
“He's my brother, just like you are… I won't let anyone hurt him,” Alfredo said calmly. After a while, Alfredo walked away, leaving Luciano fuming in anger. The more reason to put Pedro behind bars for good.
