Chapter 27 Her body belongs to him
Antonia did everything in her power to talk to the detective who just arrested her daughter.
“I'm sorry…we found her in possession of illegal drugs…we can't just let her out,” the detective said, waving his hands in the air to explain the situation. Antonia was fuming in anger as she slammed her fist on the table and leaned toward the man.
“Do you know who I am…how to address you?” she growled, shooting angry daggers at the detective looking at her with a lazy expression. She thought these policemen knew her and her family. Her prestigious family held a high position in society. Her son Luciano was well respected for them to do such a thing.
“Madam… I'm sorry, but you can't obstruct the law…your daughter was high when we found her…we can't just let her go,” the detective refused, shaking his head at Antonia. Of course, he was aware that such people, rich and had spoiled their kids to such an extent. “Your daughter was caught in an uncompromising situation…do you expect us to release her,” the man added, tapping his fingers on the table to get things straightened out. He was detective Jones. He had dealt with similar cases before. Rich people and their issues with kids.
“My daughter was framed, she's a little girl okay…she can't be addicted to such filthy things” Antonia was almost in tears as she stared at the man acting like he was the boss. Detective Jones arched his brows proudly, making Antonia even angrier.
“That's what they all say… I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do…” the detective said. The girl in question was high and wasted. She was caught having sex in public, it was difficult to stop her.
“She's only 16 please…you can't detain her…her future will be ruined,” by now Antonia was weeping hysterically. This wasn't happening. How did her little girl get in such a situation? When did she start abusing drugs and started doing illicit things like fucking in public? Drinking alcohol in excess.
“All I can say is find enough evidence which proves otherwise… Because she might spend a few years behind bars,” the detective remarked, getting up from his chair. His words were adding fuel to Antonia's anger. Looking up, fire burned in her eyes.
“How dare you say that!”Antonia was angry as lost it and got violent and pounced on the detective. The detective struggled to keep the woman off him.
“Get her out now…you can't keep her in this filthy place,” Antonia continued shouting until the detective's off burst open and Luciano barged in only to find his mom taking it to the man.
“Mom…mom that's enough,” in one swift Luciano managed to keep his mom away. “I'll get you arrested!”Antonia yelled and shrugged her son off. Luciano was already agitated with what was happening.
“Keep her away, or I'll be forced to lock her up,” the detective said while fixing his jacket. Glancing at the woman disdainfully. He pushed the chair back and sat down.
“Our lawyers are in the way of the detective…my sister is innocent,” Luciano said, glaring at the man before him. He already asked his lawyers to apply for bail. His sister was innocent, she was too young to be involved with drugs.
“That won't help much…someone powerful logged the complaint…you won't get out so easily,” detective Jones said, smirking at them. Antonia and Luciano exchanged questionable glances.
“And who dared!”Antonia was not happy. Who would dare challenge her family in such a way?
"Detective, who exactly is that?” Luciano asked, he wanted to know who they were dealing with and who had the guts to do this to his little sister.
“The man is powerful…if I were you… I would be careful with what I say…” the man said lazily. Antonia was too angry to stay there. Hence she snarled and stormed out of the office.
“They'll pay dearly,” saying that she took out her phone and called someone who would help her.
“Detective who exactly is the person…and why would they want my sister behind bars?” Luciano asked calmly. He knew the lawyer more than anyone. As a mayor, he had to be careful with what he said. Getting into such scandals was a taint to his name and position. Hence, he certainly tried to handle the matter calmly.
“Mr. Garcia… I'm sure you know how critical this matter is…your sister had a series of crimes piling up…how is that possible that you didn't know what she was into”detective Jones said, arching his brows at Luciano. He was surprised, mainly because they posed to be a virtuous family.
“That's not your concern…but tell me who is daring me…” Luciano said, sounding irritated. He had the powers to strip the detective of his title and was suspended. The detective was unhappy as he sat there gawking at Luciano. Both men exchanged angry stares before Luciano stormed away.
“The things I do for him” he muttered and picked up his phone to call the person who did this.
“Sacha…it's done and sealed…what now, “the detective said, getting up from the chair. “Yeah yeah damn you, now what” he added, throwing his hands in the air carelessly as he walked towards the window.

Pedro had spent the rest of the night clearing up the mess Olivia created. He was out of town handling some matters when he received a call from his men informing him of what happened. Early in the morning, he set out to work out in the gym when he found the woman in a heated session.
He stopped by the door. His eyes are fixed on the woman wearing only tight black shorts outlining her lower part, her glorious curves hugging the tight little shorts. Her luscious thighs exposed and traveling up, he couldn't look away. She was only wearing a black bra, her hair tied in a bun. The way sweat dripped down her body caused him to swallow hard.
He was angry that she went against him. He strictly asked her not to take any actions without him. She used the phone he gave her to call Jones. Pedro was more than pleased because the detective who called him was his old acquaintance.
“If that continues, you'll wear yourself out,” Pedro said, averting his eyes from the woman giving him a heart attack with her moves. She was indeed beautiful not just from the outside but from the inside.
“Leave,” Olivia said when she got off the treadmill and picked up a water bottle from the sides she kept it. Pedro walked further in, there was something different about her. There was no smile. Her face was blank and cold and lifeless.
“What you did was risky,” Pedro remarked irritatedly. He didn't expect her to do this and act recklessly. Olivia, who was drinking water, stopped.
“You are wasting my time… I can't follow your rules… I'm afraid,” Olivia said coldly and tossed the bottle away. She was done following Pedro's rules.
“The Garcias are smart…that despicable woman would have found out who called the police,” all he wanted was for her to do this without staining her hands with blood.
“I don't care…they deserve to die, all of them!” Olivia snarled, surprising Pedro. The hatred in her eyes was something he didn't see before. The coldness in her tone made him curious.
“Let me handle this my way…it's not worth it staining your hands with blood,” Pedro, in one large stride, walked up to Olivia and grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him. A small gasp left her lips when the man held her in his arms.
“This is serious… I'll handle this…there's no need for you to…”
“Save it… I'll do this my way,” she shot back bitterly and tried to shrug him away.
“This will ruin everything…let me handle the matter my way” he growled out, gripping her arm so tight. She saw anger in his eyes, Pedro was angry, but not even his anger could stop her from doing what she thought was right, taking revenge against the man who took advantage of her kindness
“He killed my little brother and parents mercilessly…he's living a life of luxury at the expense of my death,” He of all people was supposed to understand how she was feeling. He resurrected her from death and gave her a new face, just to sit and wait for him to avenge her.
“This is my world as my subject. You follow my rules, Livia!” he didn't stop insisting and she didn't want to listen, yes she pledged loyalty only to him. He saved her at her worst. But her revenge was hers to deal with
"My body, my soul, and my life are yours forever...but that man ruined me...I can't have a child...I have no identity... nothing to keep me going...I'll ruin the Garcias one by one ``Olivia snapped. Pedro's grip on her loosened, Olivia saw through him and understood one thing he knew about her inability to have a child. She was barren for goodness's sake.
"That's my job," Pedro said, not sure what to say to her. He was a contract killer. He saved her to help her ruin her enemies but he didn't want her to dirty her hands with Garcia's blood.
"From now on…I'll deal with them my way," saying that Olivia wiggled out of his hold and left the gym. This was a promise made to her parents and little brother. The man they trusted and the man she thought loved her turned out to be a devil who took everything she had. He made her incapable of having a child of her own, but that would change because she was coming for him. His life would turn upside down.
