Chapter 56 Accused her
Olivia waited for Pedro to look her in the eyes and accuse her of wanting to harm Hannah. He was blinded by the promise he made to overlook Hannah's true intentions. No one in the room moved an inch, even Gabby was scared to say a word.
“You are the one who gave her the soup…'' Pedro said coldly, “her life is in danger… how can I trust you, huh?” he added, by now Olivia felt empty inside.
“Do you think I'd do that… for what?” she was hurt and looking at him, avoiding her gaze. It was enough for her to know he was accusing her of harming Hannah.
Olivia was certain men were the same. They only wanted something. Looking at Pedro. She knew he was not as he said he was.
The bitterness in his eyes was proof enough, clearly, he cared more about Hannah than anyone else in his life. Pedro was about to say something when the arrival of the doctor got his attention.
The elderly man bowed slightly, showing his respect to Pedro.
“How is she?” Pedro asked, turning to the doctor. Olivia too waited for the doctor to speak. One thing, the doctor kept his head lowered.
“Sir, all the symptoms she's having prove she has been poisoned,” the doctor said, even Ira was shocked to hear that. Olivia wanted to hold the doctor by the throat and ask why he was lying to them. She was there in that room. Hannah refused to drink the soup.
“What kind of poison is it… will it affect her?” Pedro sounded desperate as he asked. Olivia didn't have words to describe Pedro's reaction. Two days ago, he told her something else. She recalled all he said to her. Such words were likes. How could she be a fool again to believe man's words?
“I've taken some blood samples… I'll work all night to carry out the necessary tests and find out what's needed,” the doctor said, showing Pedro the blood samples.
“I gave her something to flush out any poison in her body… if she doesn't wake up tomorrow…, please bring her to the hospital,” the doctor added, and all Pedro did was nod at him.
Olivia would be a fool if she believed the doctor. Was he working for Hannah? What made him come up with such a conclusion?
“Come on doc, I'll walk you out,” it was Gabby who jumped out of his seat and walked the doctor out.
“Sacha, please listen to me. There were only two of us in the kitchen…the two chefs and I,” Ira said upfront before Pedro could say anything to hurt Olivia. Already he questioned her intentions. It was rare for him to treat Olivia in such a way.
“Save it Ira… if he thinks I did it…then let him be…” Olivia said, glaring at Pedro and stormed out of there. She didn't want to stay and hear what he had to say. Of course, she was just a nobody while Hanna was her girlfriend. For him to trust her so much meaning.
“Jerk…of course, he's a liar… All men are nothing but liars,'' Olivia said as soon as she entered her room and slammed the door shut. That Pedro was slowly getting on her nerves.
“If he cares about her so much… why not make love to her”she spat out and sat in her bed. Grabbing the phone, Olivia powered it on, only to find several missed calls from.
“Luciano,” she said his name out loud. Has he recovered yet? Why was he calling her? Olivia was too upset to talk to anyone. However, when she saw a text message from Luciano saying he wanted to see her. She had no choice but to get a breather from Hannah's drama. And seeing Luciano suffer was what she intended to do.
“Where are you going?” it was Gabby who asked when Olivia met him halfway when leaving the mansion
“I'm going out,” Olivia answered and proceeded to the door. Pedro could go to hell for all he cared.

“Can you eat please… the doctor said you need to eat something,” Solange was going crazy trying to make her husband eat something? He just regained consciousness and all he asked was to see Livia Gonzalez. She didn't do all that a wife could to make sure her husband was okay. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
“I'm not hungry… take that away,” Luciano said, averting his eyes from her. He was not in the mood to talk to anyone. Why was Livia not answering his calls?
“The woman you requested didn't even come to see you in the hospital… Why are you being so stubborn? “ Bianca said sarcastically. Standing before her brother. She didn't know what spell Livia Gonzalez cast on him.
“Get out both of you” Luciano muttered, not sure why they were bothering him. He just regained consciousness. The good thing they could do for him was by leaving him alone.
“Stop this okay… Solange always stayed up all night taking care of you… even your very own son stayed beside you…” Bianca was not happy with her brother. The way he treated his wife and son wasn't right. " She's your wife, why can't you show a little compassion to your family,”
“Don't worry, Bianca… please make sure he eats something,” Solange said with a smile, biting back tears that lingered in her eyes from him.
“No Sol, this man needs to know you sacrificed your sleep for him…bro this is not done okay,” Bianca was angry, Luciano being cold towards Solange was not fair. She had done everything she could to make sure her husband was okay.
“I didn't ask, did I?” Luciano said coldly, Bianca was about to say something when the bedroom door opened, getting everyone's attention.
“Hello… sorry but the servants directed me here… I came to see Mr. Garcia,” it was Olivia who, hesitating to enter the room. Bianca's eyes shone with hate at the sight of the woman causing all the trouble.
Solange, on the other hand, fixed her sharp eyes on Olivia.
“It's you… what are you doing here?” Bianca asked coldly, not sure why she was here.
“Please come in Ms. Gonzalez,” Luciano said cheerfully, he was more than happy to see her. He didn't understand why he felt sad when Livia wasn't answering his calls.
“Hello Mrs. Garcia… pardon me for coming here… but your husband is such a good man… I felt obliged to visit him,” Olivia said, turning to Solange. The woman gave her a half smile. Olivia already knew she was angry, seeing her.
“Nice to meet you again Livia,” Solange said, despite how unhappy she was seeing the woman her husband preferred to her.
