Chapter 72 It's official
“I'm … . I'm fine it's just, just a scratch,” Olivia defended herself when Pedro rushed into her room yelling for everyone, including the doctor, to leave who they'd get killed.
“Stay still… this will hurt, “Pedro muttered, ignoring her protest. She was hurt, her arm was bleeding badly, and here she was saying she was okay. Olivia gritted her teeth, feeling the stinging pain eating away her flesh. Whatever liquid he was pouring on her wound had her gripping his hand so tight that her eyes watered from the pain.
Pedro stilled his heart, as he continued treating her wound. The bullet didn't penetrate her flesh and damage any blood vessels. However, she had a delicate wound.
“I told you this is dangerous… you don't have to prove anything to me,” Pedro said, glaring at Olivia with disdain. Olivia knew she was careless, but the hunt was fun. She had to run and search for something which needed one to use their heads. It was like a survival hunt. You escape or you get killed.
“This is necessary for me… don't you want me to be strong… what if in the past you couldn't protect me,” she said, reaching for his face. Pedro froze when her cold, soft hand connected with his face. Their gazes met and Olivia smiled faintly.
“No one can hurt me… I'll be here to protect you,” he said while bandaging her hand. Olivia didn't move but sat still. She knew her right arm wouldn't be used for a while, her left leg was buried badly from running. Olivia knew she escaped death and that death was caused by Hannah.
“We are just taking precautions… I'm sure we'd make a strong couple “Olivia whispered while caressing him gently, Pedro thought he heard wrong, looking at her with a blank expression. Did she just use us, Pedro stopped attending to her leg and shifted comfortably on the bed? I've seen the shock in his eyes.
“Are you shocked?” it was obvious the man didn't expect her to make their thing official. But when she was shot and thought, she would never say what was in her heart.
“You are right, I shouldn't have gone soft on them… for everything they ever did… my mistake was feeling sorry for them and getting close to Luciano,” Olivia said, knowing full well she made a mistake. She was supposed to make the Garcias pay not to get close to Luciano.
“So now you want to take action,” Pedro said, shaking his head, Olivia didn't let him go. Despite the agony, she was going through. She managed to push herself until she sat on his lap, crossing her legs to his side. Pedro sat upright and slipped his hands around her back. Olivia winced, biting her lower lip and draping her arm on Pedro's shoulder.
“I'm hurt, don't try anything funny,” Olivia whispered when Pedro snuggled to her chest, inhaling her scent. His strong arms wrapped tightly around her. Olivia exhaled and ran her fingers in his thick hair, keeping her hurt arm lowered.
"You want me,” Pedro muttered as he parted his lips and kissed the blade of her collarbone. He felt her urgency, the way she was creasing his hair sent shivers throughout his body. Olivia moved back and sat comfortably on his lap.
“I don't want that woman here, whatever it is… end it,” Olivia muttered and Pedro knew what was going on in her head. She was insecure about Hannah being around him.
“Tomorrow night, I plan to abduct you,” Pedro murmured while tucking some strands of hair stuck on her forehead. Olivia's brows arched questionably, she was stuck here for two days, so where did he want to abduct her to? Pedro didn't reply but captured her mouth for a kiss, Olivia was quick to respond as she kissed him back. Pushing up on him, however, Pedro was mindful of her state.
She was hurt, hence, with gentleness, he cupped the sides of her face. Kissing her lips softly as she grinned at him.
Her hand rested on his shoulder causing him to lose it, tasting his lips made him lose his sanity, and his barbaric desires clouded his mind. He slipped his hand behind her head and fisted her hair.
“You are hurt, Dammit, don't make me do something barbaric,” Pedro muttered with strained breaths as he gripped her head firmly, his chest rising and falling steadily. He was on fire. Olivia couldn't hold back anymore. She wanted more than just kissing.
“I don't mind,” she muttered, surprising Pedro, who stared at her with a blank expression and took her mouth again, no longer gentle. He sank his tongue into her, aggressively searching. Both his hands came up to her head, angling it to make her mouth fully accessible. She reached around him, gripping the powerful stretch of his back, ignoring the pain. Olivia dug her nails into his flesh, feeling the hard muscles that went on and on.
Pedro groaned as he felt her hand on him, not new, but just the feel of her trembling hand on him made him go insane with desire.
Pulling her head back, he sought the fragile skin of her throat and dragged his mouth along it as if he wanted to devour her, Olivia groaned as she threw her head back. The feel of his moist hot breath fanning her skin, his soft demanding lips. His aggressive hands made her lose it.
His hunger escalated and drove his breath faster and his pulse harder, until he realized he was close to losing all control.
“No,” Pedro stopped just when he was about to pin her down and fuck her brains out, Olivia was panting from agony when he shoved her onto the bed and climbed on top of her. Her eyes watered, knowing she aroused the monster when she was in a bad state.
“Dammit, I want so badly to punish you… but I'll wait until you heal,” he muttered while wiping her damp eyes. Her heavy lashes flustered as she exhaled and inhaled. Her tummy rose and fell, trying to calm herself.
“Hm,” her arm was hurting, it would be bad for her to go down that path. Hence, she let him tuck her in.
“Can you stay?” she whispered when he draped a blanket over her body and dragged it up to her shoulders. Pedro stopped midway and looked at her.
“I have some unfinished business to take care of,” he muttered and Olivia nodded, the day was long for her. She nearly died because someone plotted to kill her in that forest, even when she was successful.
After making sure she was okay, Pedro turned off the lights and left the room. He had no choice but to bring her to his bedroom. His men had grown wings.
It was time he dealt with them the right way.
