Chapter 81 Sold and abused
The Entire Garcia family and the crowd were horrified by what was happening. Luciano, as well as Alfredo, tried to hold their mother, who was acting crazy. Throwing things around and calling out to Olivia.
Bianca and Lia were frightened by what was happening. The reporters were already snapping pictures and recording videos of the scandalous scenery unfolding before them.
“I'll her, she's…she's here…,” Antonia shrugged her sons off her, but they held her down?
“Mom that's enough… calm down,” Luciano said with great difficulty. His mom was acting like a crazy person, saying nonsense. The crowd were already beginning to gossip.
“Please take her away… she's just drunk,” Alfredo remarked, gesturing for the guards to take off.
“She's here… she isn't dead… that girl is doing this…,” Antonia kept saying, shaking her head nervously, Luciano already had the lights turned on and there was no one.
“Take her away and call the doctor,” Luciano gave the orders, and the two security men dragged Antonia away from the crowd. Lia rushed after her mom, feeling tears building in her eyes.
“Is she crazy… isn't that Olivia girl dead?”
“She must be crazy, ghosts don't exist,”
“We should have known Antonia is crazy… they should take her to the asylum for treatment,” murmurs rose in the crowd, making Luciano irritated as he excused himself before ending the party.
“My apologies… my mom had too much to drink… the party is over,” Bianca and Alfredo apologized to the crowd, hoping things ended well. The people seemed to want to stay longer and gossip more.
“Is she alright… I mean that isn't Olivia Altamirano dead… why would your mother see her?” One of the women who were Antonia's friends asked Bianca and Luciano.
“My mom is drunk…she isn't in her right senses… please pardon us, but the party is over,” Luciano said in the most polite way possible. People were gossiping about and saw what Antonia did. She was likely to get mocked for it.
“You should look after her… it's not healthy to say such things in public,”
“Exactly, people will begin to think… she had anything to do with the girl's death… but who knows,” another woman chimed in and said lazily. By now, Bianca was seeing red from anger. If not for the four women being her mom's friends. She would have put her in their place.
“Aunt, it's not good to say such things… you know how rumors are spread,” Bianca remarked with a mocking smile and the woman faked smiles and was about to turn and leave suddenly.
“What was that!” Luciano panicked, so did the rest of them when they heard gunshots coming from upstairs. Fear reigned in their hearts as they rushed toward the stairs. Not just one, but another shot was fired.
The three rushed to the room their mother was in and pushed the door open. The sight before them was frightening.
Bianca's eyes widened in fear, so did Luciano. Alfredo rushed inside.
“Lia!” Bianca screamed, seeing her little sister lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Luciano ran inside, straight to his little sister.
“No… don't… don't close your eyes…sweetheart stays with me,” Luciano cradled her in his arms. Blood dripped from her nose and the corners of her lips.
“B-bro…mom…she,” Lia stuttered the words out but ended up coughing a mouthful of blood. Her eyes closed, scaring Luciano.
“No baby, stay with me… you'll be okay…get the doctor!” Luciano yelled as tears lingered in his eyes. Bianca dropped to her knees close to her sister.
“Lia, you'll be fine… I'll call the doctor,” she got up to look for a phone. Her mom was crazy, she just shot her daughter and the two men.
“Mom…what did you do?" The place was filled with dead bodies. Antonia was holding a gun and scanning the place, Alfredo was frightened.
“She's here… she's here… she came to kill me… I'll kill her!” Antonia stammered and prepared to fire the gun when Alfredo snatched the gun from her.
“Mom, that's enough!”

Meanwhile, Olivia's mission was done and was on the run to a safe place. She managed to get away from the party room, but unfortunately, there were too many people. Hence she ended up somewhere isolated. However, she wasn't alone.
“Turn around now,” Sydney shouted as she waited for the woman wearing exactly what Olivia was wearing when she died a year ago. With great difficulty, Olivia slowly turned around, shocking Sydney.
“It's you,” surprisingly it was Livia. It had been a while since she saw her. Despite seeing her at the party. They didn't talk.
“Tell me…who are you…why are you doing this,” Sydney asked, demanding an answer. It was a lot to take in. Why was Livia pretending to be Olivia and scared Antonia? Everyone thought Antonia was making things up, but indeed Livia looked exactly like Olivia.
“You should go,” Olivia said and turned to leave when Sydney.
“I'm certainly trying to ignore this… to ignore the…the fact that everything about you is like her… like Olivia…tell me…who are you,” she demanded as tears lingered in her eyes. Taking a step forward, Sydney felt her knees weaken. She didn't care about anything, but she wanted to know who Livia was. Why was she taking revenge on behalf of Olivia?
“Tell me now, please… I know…” Sydney didn't even finish when, unexpectedly, someone knocked her out, and she collapsed to the floor. Looking up, Olivia saw Zane and Gabby.
“We have to go… Antonia shot her daughter,” Zane informed and lowered to pick up Sydney in his arms.
“It turns out the old witch is indeed crazy… Here change,” Gabby said tossing a bag to Olivia who caught it in time “Pedro is waiting for you… something about you consuming something,” Gabby added, making a thinking face. Olivia nodded and prepared to leave.
“Take care of her,” she said to Zane and left. Of course, she didn't care about anything, even if the Garcias all died. What they did to her was far worse. They tortured her and killed her parents. They deserved to die, all of them.
“Bitch" Solange came into view as soon as she hit Olivia with a baseball bat, knocking her out as she fell to the floor, blood oozing out on the floor.
“Boss,” three men came from behind and grabbed Olivia's hair.
“It turned out the little bitch is the one playing ghost…take her away and make sure no one sees you,” Solange gave her orders, knowing full well. She always had her suspicions since that night Antonia said she saw Olivia.
“You dared mess with my husband… I'm sure killing you will be for the greater good,” Solange muttered coldly and watched as the men wrapped Olivia's body in a blanket and carried her away. The less the problems, the more joy. And thanks to Hannah, she would find out if indeed Livia was Olivia Altamirano. The similarities were too much to ignore
Meanwhile, Pedro was held up when Alfredo confronted him, the two men were outside the parking lot standing face to face. Pedro's posture was cold and aloof.
“Is this you huh, all this time we…we thought,”
“Who do you think you are to stop me huh… get the fuck out of my way,” Pedro growled, shooting angry daggers at Alfredo who was standing in front of his car. Alfredo stood his ground, his expression softened.
“I have no hate for you… but doing this…killing your sister…”
“She's not my damn sister and so you know… you are next…don't think I'm going to spare any of you,” Pedro cut him off and took a step forward. Alfredo only saw a monster, a predator thirsty for blood. Despite the darkness, Alfredo could sense a dark aura radiating from the man.
“I understand the hostility but…”
“I won't stop until your entire generation is wiped out… this is a promise I made… I spared you long enough but get ready for hell,” Pedro warned in a deadly tone. His eyes flashed with hate as he fixed them on Alfredo.
“Pedro stop it now… I know this…whatever my family did to you… is…” Alfredo didn't even finish when Pedro's phone started ringing, and he took it out and answered it.
“Talk,” he said, turning away as he waited for his men to tell him what was happening.
“Kill her now… She dared to touch and hurt my woman, ," Pedro gave his orders coldly and disconnected the call. Alfredo was frightened, just the man's voice gave him chills.
"If you haven't been sold before, abused to insanity … and burnt alive… then I dare you to stop me," Pedro said and turned to leave, Alfredo watched as the man entered his car.
"Sold?" He muttered, not sure what Pedro meant but he wanted answers. What did Antonia do to him when he was a little boy?
