Chapter 88 His childhood
Olivia had gotten out of the suite to answer a phone call from Zane. She could have ignored it for later, however, knowing it was about her best friend. She was beyond excited to answer.
For some reason, she was nervous about meeting Sydney after a long time, but it was completely worth it.
“Zane, please don't harm her, I know you are here but please… keep your hands in check,” Olivia to Zane said over the phone, she was aware that Sydney was with Zane. And everybody knew Zane had a thing for Sydney.
“Hahaha fine, I'll see her tonight,” Olivia chuckled upon hearing what Zane had to say and disconnected the call. Smiling to herself, Olivia looked up only to realize she had walked to the elevator, glancing at her wristwatch, Olivia was about to walk back to the suite when the elevator doors opened, getting her attention.
“What are you doing here?” Olivia asked sarcastically, seeing Luciano walking toward her, the hate she had for him was something which aroused at the sight of him.
“Come with me,” without telling her why he was there, Luciano grabbed her by the arm and forcefully dragged her away and shoved her inside the elevator. Olivia was irritated.
“Who do you think you are!” she yelled, pushing him away, her eyes shone with hate and disdain as she tried to storm out of the elevator when Luciano punched a few buttons and the door closed?
“Stop this now,” Olivia was beyond angry. But Luciano trapped her against the wall.
“I wanted to see you, I saw you enter the building and I followed you,” Luciano muttered and slipped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Olivia shrugged him away and landed a heavy slap across his face for touching her. Luciano was stunned by her behavior, tilting his head to look at her. Her eyes were filled with rage.
“Don't ever touch me, do you hear!” Olivia warned, pointing her index finger at him, he had no right to touch her. Luciano slowly shifted around, the slap was heavy and burned. However, he didn't care.
“Do you know what that man does… Livia, you are an innocent woman…that man isn't good for you,” Luciano spat out, feeling irritated, he saw her with Pedro a while ago. Only if she knew how dangerous he was.
“It doesn't matter… because I know some people aren't so innocent,” it was a direct slap across his face again, the fact that he wasn't so perfect. He and his family were supposed to be behind bars, rotting, but here he was telling her something so ridiculous.
“Mr Garcia, nothing you say matters to me, I choose whom I want to be with… you have no right to interfere in my life,” she added with a disdain glare and was about to reach her hand for the buttons when Luciano caught her hand and gently pushed her against the wall trapping her with his frame.
“Listen to me, I know something is going on between you two… but you need to stay away from him… that man is a dangerous mafia,” Luciano remarked out of frustration, hoping to get a reaction from him. However, Olivia only blinked blankly. Her expression remained dark and unreadable.
“I found out what he does, and it's illegal, please listen to me… he's not for you, “Luciano muttered, looking straight into her beautiful eyes, all he wanted was to keep her safe. The man she was involved with was bad. He saw her at the party. The way she was talking to Pedro. It hurt him to see her desiring another man over him.
“I'd rather be with a monster who shows his true colors than… a saint with an innocent face with a dark heart,” Olivia muttered through gritted teeth, her eyes shining with bitterness that Luciano failed to understand her statement.
“I want you as my woman, and I'm willing to fight for you because what I feel for you, even I can't understand,” Luciano whispered, ignoring her anger. His expression softened as he reached for her face and cupped her cheek. “It hurts me to see you acting this way… I'm done hiding my feelings, okay… I want you, Livia… I'm dying inside because you are all I dream of,” the words left his slightly parted lips. Such sweet words had been heard before. It was true, men were just the same. The very same words he told her for so long, only to stab her in the back.
“Let go,” Olivia said, trying to sound disgusted. However, her voice came out hoarse and strained. By now, Luciano had moved closer to her, caressing her lovingly. He couldn't handle a day without her.
“Just say yes, and I'll take you from him, I'll fight him with my last breath to have you,” he whispered, Olivia wanted to laugh because the same man who killed her, the same man who was a coward and couldn't protect the so-called woman he loved was the same man promising to keep her safe. Just as Luciano was about to kiss her, Olivia pushed him away.
“I'm sorry but take whatever you feel away from me… I don't want you,” saying that she prepared to walk past him and exit the elevator when Luciano grabbed her by the waist, pulled her back and took her mouth forcefully. Olivia kicked and tried to push him away, however he started kissing her without permission even when she didn't kiss him back. With all her might, she tried to fight, but Luciano pushed her against the wall, trapped her hands above her head and deepened the kiss, exploring her mouth with need and lust and when Olivia took hold of her strength and was about to push him off her, she heard a thud startling her.
“Don't you dare!” Olivia managed to push Luciano away, only to see the elevator doors open and a man standing before them.
“P-Pedro…oh my gosh, what have you done,” Olivia rushed out of the elevator running to the man whose wrist was bleeding with blood dripping down the floor like water.
“No, what have you done, for goodness's sake,” it was horrifying to see Pedro bleeding and standing there like a statue. His sharp eyes were fixed on Luciano. He didn't say anything, and Olivia knew he saw her. But what happened to him, and why was he bleeding? Glancing down, Olivia saw a pocket knife.
“I'll kill him,” Pedro muttered, shooting angry daggers at Luciano, now out of the elevator and standing before them.
“It's not what you think,” Olivia remarked, shaking her head, hoping he didn't misunderstand the situation. She was about to say something when he collapsed in her arms and passed out.

Olivia was agitated as she paced back and forth outside Pedro's room, a good day turned sour all because of Luciano. Pedro slit his wrist again, then was crazy to hurt himself once more. The last time he escaped death and no doctor was attending to him.
“You should have gone kissing your ex-lover,” Gabby said sarcastically, Olivia was already in a bad mood listening to Gabby's sarcastic terms. Pedro's health was more important to her.
“He'll be fine so don't worry,” Ira coaxed, regardless of what, she knew she had to get to the bottom of the matter. Something was wrong with Pedro. No normal human would switch to ending himself every time they had a misunderstanding. What was his childhood like? Did anyone hurt him, did this have to do with the Garcias, she had so many questions to ask and when he regained consciousness. She vowed to know. However, when the man regained consciousness, Olivia didn't expect the worst from him.
“I'll punish you like a little slut you are!” he yelled as he dragged her to a room on the first floor. The same cold room full of torturing things “it seems you like being used as a fuck doll huh,” he shoved her inside and slammed the door shut, Olivia saw a monster advancing. A frightening monster who grabbed a whip.
