Chapter 94 Falling in love
“How…just how much do you love him?” Pedro asked while kissing her inner thighs. By now, Olivia was fully awake. Tied up and exposed, Pedro didn't look like his usual self. There was anger in his eyes, but she saw how he was trying to keep calm. His hand rested on her belly, sucking in her breath. Olivia shook her head.
“You can't keep away from him… you love him even after what he did,” Pedro mumbled as if trying to convince himself. Olivia felt bad, she didn't understand why her heart was in despair, hearing Pedro.
“That's not true… please untie me,” she said, hoping he would until her. They needed to talk like two adults. It wasn't every time that he had to switch to something torturous.
“Why can't you forget him…” this time, his hands circled her neck. He wasn't choking her but pulled her close. Their faces are an inch from each other. Olivia sensed something different about him, the way he was looking at her. She didn't back away but kept her eyes on him. Looking deep into his eyes.
“What are you afraid of?” She asked, still keeping eye contact, Pedro slipped his hand behind her neck and gripped her firmly. Ousted her forward so that their noses were touching “Tell me, I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere,” Olivia muttered when she noticed the ropes were loose and her hands were freed. Slowly, her hands reached for Pedro's face. Caressing him gently, she scooped closer to him.
“What can I do for you to forget him…” he whispered while rubbing her cheek with his thumb, seeing her earlier with Luciano made him angry?
“Have you asked me why such things always happen,” she whispered and there was silence between them, Pedro kept his hand gripping the back of her head, and Olivia was left speechless. All she could do was stare at him, her fingers working their way in his hair, playing with him for a while before she moved to his face. He didn't say anything nor stop her. Closing his eyes, the feeling circulating through him. When his eyes opened, Olivia was right there.
“Do you love him?” He asked, despite how hoarse his voice sounded. Olivia knew the anger he was suppressing. Taking his hand and intertwining their fingers. Olivia gave a faint smile and lowered her gaze.
"For me to answer… I want to feel the real Pedro… no dominance, show me your weak side…' she muttered, kissing his fingers one by one. Pedro followed her gaze and watched her with narrowed eyes. In one go he flipped her up until she was sitting on his lap, crossing her legs to his sides. His hands reached for her face while the other rested on her hip.
“I can't,” he replied while caressing her face, Olivia leaned down to his shoulder and rested her head there. Pedro's hand slid to her side and rested on her back and pressed her to him.
“Why…why is it so hard,” she muttered and kissed him lightly on his shoulder. Pedro wrapped his arms around her and caged her in his embrace. Olivia could feel his heart beating against his chest. He didn't let go of her but tightened his grip even more such that she couldn't breathe properly.
“I'm afraid I'll fall in love,” he mumbled more like to himself, shocking Olivia, whose eyes flew open instantly. Did she hear him right? With ease, she moved away from him. Cupped his face and tilted his head up. His eyes were lowered, but Olivia forced him to look at her.
“What…what did you say,” she murmured in amusement. Her lips quivered upwards into a smile, “say it again,” she coaxed with a grin. His anger vanished and she saw in his eyes. Pedro shook his head, scooped her in his arms and made her lie back on the bed. Extending his hand, he reached for a blanket and draped it over her.
“What happened…aren't you going to punish me?” Olivia asked, not sure why he wasn't going to do all those crazy things to her.
“No, you ruined my mood,” he muttered and was about to get up when she held him back
“I'm not afraid of you, nor what you can do to me… I just want us to have a clear understanding,” she said, pulling him down. Pedro stared at her for a while. There was no fear in her eyes.
“Do you hate me… are you afraid of me?” He asked, looking straight into her eyes. Olivia's lashes flickered down then looked at him
“All I know is… no matter what, you'll never hurt me… despite everything….” She gave him a reply and Pedro felt his heart skip a beat.
“Really?”
“Just give me a chance, give us a chance to understand each other,” it was all she wanted, to know him personally. Pedro leaned down and kissed her before he pulled back. Olivia wanted more but ignored the burning sensation between her legs.
“Mom died in the hands of the Garcias…” Pedro started but stopped, Olivia pushed herself until she was sitting upright.
“Come here,” she gestured for him to join her in bed. Pedro was hesitant but nodded and climbed on the bed. Olivia made him rest his head in her lap while he circled his arms around her back.
“What exactly happened?” She wanted to know everything, the night was young. It was rare to have Pedro open up to her. “Tell me,” she whispered while creasing his hair. Olivia glanced down waiting for him to continue. However, she was stunned to find the man sleeping.
“Pedro…wake up now,” she grew irritated, just when he was about to say something he fell asleep. What sort of joke was it, but one thing she was happy about was how he listened to her.
“Step by step… I'll make sure you are alright,” she muttered and planted a kiss on his head, glancing around as she had no idea where he brought her to. But Olivia didn't mind, Pedro was considered a dangerous monster. But why did she feel safe with the devil in her arms?
