No one touches him
At the news, Jada and Shawn quickly told them, including Theo, after she called him over what Aubrianne requested.
Theo was positively thrilled and relieved that his daughter was fine and on her way back to the manor. However, the issue of her mate still remained.
Nevertheless, Theo quickly gave the orders to the men at the gate to allow the vehicle to enter, that it was the exact vehicle that his men were tracking, and he also contacted the police officers he was just chatting with.
While Jada and Shawn were chatting with Aubrianne, Theo had already gotten word that they had surrounded the vehicle and everything that happened next.
He contacted those officers again and told them to simply follow the vehicle back to the manor and not engage, as it was his daughter, and she was safe.
Aubrianne Ivanov
Aubrianne had cut them off, and her eyes glazed back to the present to see they were almost there, already passing her old community, 'Boris Heights.'
"I used to stay in there," She suddenly shouted, jerking Zayne out of his focus on driving fast and furiously up the road.
She automatically surmised Jada and Shawn had more than enough time to update her father and have him call off the police.
Fifteen whole minutes, but the way her mate was drag racing the life out of this poor accord, she guessed about six to ten minutes. But hey, it was still enough to at least get to him and inform him.
Zayne lifted a perfectly arched eyebrow at her outburst, still focused on the road and the police vehicles behind them while occasionally glancing at his gorgeous mate.
She was a vision, her frazzled flowing hair falling over her shoulders and to the back of her. Her expression was as if she was anticipating something.
Nevertheless, Aubrianne elaborated, "When I first got here, my dad set me up with a sweet two-bedroom in there." She pointed, gesturing back to the community he just sped past.
Zayne's eyes then narrowed curiously, so she said, "Ok, well, that is certainly a long story," as she rightfully guessed her mate wanted to know why her father set her up there if she was his daughter and not at least somewhere on his large estate.
Zayne was curious as to why. He simply did not know her story and was ready to start learning everything he could about his mate, and Zayne already did not have a good impression of Alpha Theodore Claude Thornton.
But he understood. They were almost at the manor. Who knows what they will run into? There was simply no time for long stories.
"Ok, so I spoke to the ones imprinted on me except for Daniel..." and as the words left her lips, Aubrianne realized she had forgotten to tell her mate the most crucial detail.
Daniel was her destined Beta, and they were imprinted, so it was not like he would be out of her life forever.
And she did not know how much he knew of the white wolf, but he seemed to have some knowledge because he had asked her to command him.
Gosh, so much to unpack, she thought.
However, Aubrianne tensed as the atmosphere in the vehicle suddenly became charged.
Aragorn was on the surface instantly, "Now, what now?" 'Imprinted? And who was Daniel?'
Zayne tried to control his wolf, but possessiveness was retaking control.
However, Aubrianne did not hesitate to share the details, "A white wolf imprints on her warrior wolf, witch protector, and her Beta..."
Suddenly, the tension was released slightly. Aubrianne persisted, "Another long story, but as it turned out, my best friend was my witch protector, and the guy I considered my brother turned out to be my wolf warrior."
"Guess they were automatically drawn to me even before I knew who I was..." She shrugged, then chuckled at her mate's deepening eyebrows.
"Another long story, but my Beta, my Beta, is my Father's Beta's son, Daniel..." Her eyes slid to her mate nervously, "And Daniel is the one I used for sex."
Aubrianne finished and held her breath.
While Aubrianne was talking, Zayne was already getting the sinking feeling that THAT dude was who she was trying to explain away right now, especially when she started with 'My Beta is my Father's Beta's Son...
Goddess, he knew it.
And it was then Zayne realized something interesting. His mate, indeed, was not in any danger with that guy back at the motel. She could have gotten help the moment she regained consciousness.
Nevertheless, as for Daniel, Aragorn was suddenly itching to mark and claim his mate. NOW. He did not like the idea of his mate being so close to the one she had been with.
At least, not without his mark.
"Oh, I see, that is...very interesting." Zayne finally spoke.
"Yea, so they are expecting us. We should not have any problems getting in," Aubrianne suddenly stopped talking as she realized the sirens were no longer blaring.
"It seemed they are simply following us now and not chasing," Aubrianne spoke. She kept looking back at the police cars trailing behind them.
Zayne also looked in the review mirror and observed the same.
The sirens were only flashing, and the cars it was like they slowed even.
"Yip definitely looks like they got your message." Zayne felt a bit relieved. However, he braced himself for when he finally got to Alpha Thornton.
And now that Aubrianne was his mate, Alpha Thornton's daughter, he believed this changed things. He knew Alpha Thornton would object to this union. There was no doubt in Zayne's mind.
Alpha Thornton saw him as the most wanted. How ridiculous, so much so, to prevent entry into TL.
Nevertheless, he kept driving, his mind racing with what would come next, when a hand reached across and squeezed his thighs gently, a warm, comforting, gentle reassurance.
Aubrianne could sense her mate's nerves, "Everything will be fine." She reassured him. Aubrianne really could not say for sure. However, one thing she knew for certain was that no one was arresting her mate tonight.
Zayne relaxed at her touch and comforting words. His eyes closed briefly. However, he did wonder how she could be so sure because Alpha Thornton would surely put up a fight.
"How can you be so sure?" Zayne's tone held a hint of uncertainty, not that he doubted his mate. It's just her father left a stain on his mind.
"I need you to trust me, ok, please?" Aubrianne's hand, still on her mate's lap, rubs it soothingly at her words.
Zayne's curious eyes slid toward his mate, and she wore an expression of absolute certainty. He wondered what his little mate was up to.
However, he was intrigued, and the corner of his lips lifted in a smile, and he shook his head. She was quickly growing on him. "Ok, I trust you."
Soon, they pulled into the gates of TL Crescent Moon Community. They went straight to the manor's gates without one to stop them.
"Drive straight to the manor's entrance," Aubrianne craned her neck, ducking down. Anything to get a good view, she zoomed in. She saw familiar faces awaiting her arrival.
"Ok, babe." Zayne steered the vehicle to where Aubrianne pointed.
There he saw Alpha Thornton and some others he had yet to meet.
At the entrance were some more officers, a few members of Theo's personal security detail, and Theo, Rafael, Daniela, Kirrah, Shawn, Ivan, and Jada.
Aubrianne did notice how Jada was hanging on to Ivan. However, she had no time to dwell on the discovery.
They all looked relieved that she was ok.
Zayne stopped the vehicle and placed it in the park. He looked at Aubrianne, got out of the car, and put his hands up in surrender. His jersey that was slit down the middle parted and revealed his ripped upper body. It was the body of an Egyptian God.
Outlined and contoured perfectly.
There were curious gazes about what went down that his jersey was torn in such a way.
Aubrianne quickly jumped out of the vehicle and ran around to him. Then she heard her father's words, "Take him to the dungeons."
Four men from her father's personal security stepped up to arrest Zayne to drag him off to the dungeons, and suddenly, the open atmosphere became charged and suffocating at the same time.
Suddenly, the light and breezy atmosphere became still.
When everyone under pressure struggled to look at the source, including the security guards, who suddenly looked pale, they saw a calm Aubrianne clutching her necklace in her hand, her eyes glowing that gorgeous blue, indicating Leia was out and very present and feral.
"No one touches him." Aubrianne had stepped in front of her mate. The top of her head reached a little below Zayne's chest, and she spoke low and deadly.
It was a fatal command that not one of them could refute. If they choose to fight her command, they die.
