Murderous Campaign
Alpha Zayne Steele
Not wasting a second, he launches at another creature. As the creature swung his arms out to grab Zayne, Zayne ducked out of the way, swiveled around, and shoved his claws into the creature's back, yanking him back with full strength.
The creature landed with a thud on the forest bed, its head hitting a rock and gooey blood soaking the stone.
Alpha Zayne then further mashed into the creature's head for good measure then swiftly moved sideways in time to shove his claws into another creature that was charging towards him.
He dug into the creature's chest, pulling out the creature's heart, then Alpha Zayne handed the creature its heart and was rewarded with what looked like a confused look from the creature.
Alpha Zayne then squashes the creature's head with a clap of his bare hands.
Zayne continued his murderous campaign until all the creatures were lying lifeless on the forest bed.
Meanwhile, not far away, another team of three warriors moved stealthily under the moonlight in the forested area as they continued searching the perimeter. Upon hearing a twig snap in the distance, the team froze.
Three of them standing a good six feet apart from each other now looked around and at each other, and they started communicating through mind-link.
"Nobody moves," the warrior on the far right says as they all continue to scan their surroundings. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, two creatures came charging, and two warriors sprang into action, swiftly eliminating the creatures.
The Warriors were heading after the girl, and so they were quickly on the move again, not wasting any time.
The team continues forward, spread out in that same formation about twelve feet apart as they scan and sniff the area.
"I think I got something; It's very faint," the warrior on the left said before he took off on a run.
The other two warriors looked at each other and quickly followed suit. They were heading in the direction of a small cave.
Cautiously approaching the cave, using the bushes to hide, they entered the mouth of the cave and saw the little girl's lifeless body wrapped in a sheet.
Thank Goddess, they heard a heartbeat. However, they were confused.
Still on full alert, one of the warriors says through mind-link, "something is off. Where is the creature that took her? Why did he leave her here alone?"
"I was about to ask the same thing," another warrior says.
While the third says, "this makes no sense, but then again, none of this makes sense. Since when do creatures kidnap? They only know how to slaughter."
As if on cue, the creature stumbles out of the bushes with some pieces of wood, and all three warriors blanched.
One said, "Hold the f**k up, is this nasty creature going to start a fire to keep himself warm?"
"Was this f**ker looking to set up camp for the night?" Another chimed in.
"I can't even find words.." the third warrior trails off.
This was unbelievable, so much so that the warriors had difficulty reconciling what they saw with what they knew.
Still, nobody moved.
The creature, now finally seeing that he had company, dropped the pieces of wood, turned, and ran.
One of the warriors snapped out of it and gave chase while the other two still stood there, but they communicated via mind link.
Back to Alpha Zayne and Mekhi...
Moments after, one of Alpha Zayne's warriors pokes into his mind giving updates—"we got the girl, she is unconscious, and I am currently chasing the creature that took her. He will soon be eliminated."
Alpha Zayne visibly relaxed, so Mekhi saw it was safe to approach him. Mekhi informs Alpha Zayne of what he missed while in his murderous state.
Aragorn had eliminated the rest of the creatures roaming in this area.
Arrangements are being made for the girl to be taken to the healer. The breach is intact, and we succeeded in pushing them back.
The remaining humans fled when they realized there weren't many creatures left as they w
ere almost all taken out, and the humans with the weapons were silenced.
Who would soon wake up eventually and find themselves in the dungeon along with the Nurse and the Doctor.........

**Flashback to Analise's account of what happened**
"Two came in on me in the kitchen. Startled, I screamed. Then, I heard a ruckus upstairs. Eyes wide, I frantically searched for a weapon but found none nearby. At the same time, one of them came up to me and grabbed me roughly."
"Then that thing threw me on the chair and made a noise while gesturing with his hand to sit. When I did, he took his hand and took it to his mouth, putting just the index finger over it and puckered his lips." Analise stops and shivers.
"Everything went silent upstairs, and I was so scared for my life, then right after, I heard my baby girl scream out, "no, let me go, help, dad, mom, dad!!" She screamed and screamed." Analise didn't speak for a good minute.
Mekhi eyes me in shock.
Jerome was fuming and fighting to stay calm while fighting the pain of the potent mixture, starting its devastating torture on his insides.
Analise shivers again. While wrapping her hand around herself, Analise continued, "then all of a sudden, the other one that came in was just standing there looking around, and he had a massive wound to his stomach. He came and sat on the chair next to me while the one that grabbed me gestured for me to fix his partner."
"I was so shocked I didn't know what to do, especially when my daughter's screams were getting further and further away." She stops, eyes filling with water as if she remembers her daughter is missing again, so she hurries on.
"The other one who was hovering came and aggressively grabbed my hair, pulling my head back, and slammed my head into the table, hard, and he did it again and again until blood started pouring out of
my forehead."
"I was dazed, shaking, scared out of my mind as I tried to catch myself to form a coherent thought. When the creature came up on me again, I shot up, almost falling back, but I righted myself, crawled to the cabinet, and crawled back, the creature never leaving my side."
"I sat down and struggled to thread the needle as I was shaking so much, and this angered them. The one hovering started grunting, making noises, and gesturing for me to get to work on his partner."
"Then, thank the goddess, I found a needle stuck in a thread, and the needle was actually threaded, and the length of it was neatly wrapped around the reel of the thread itself." She sighs.
"I unwrapped it, leaned over the thing sprawled on the chair next to me, and attempted to pull the skin together. I honestly didn't know if this thing would survive, but I tried really hard. Sadly, it was not joining."
"The skin was shredded. I remained there inspecting it, needle in hand, and I continued to tremble uncontrollably, afraid of the creature hovering. Then we heard more movement upstairs, and well, I am sure you know the rest".
Zayne destroyed the office in his house, smashing tables, breaking his desk in two, and leaving multiple holes in the walls left behind by his rapid punches. All his drinking glasses were cleared off the table.
Then he lifted said table and pelt it across the room, threw a fit, flipping over tables, sending it crashing into the wall. Goddess, he was losing men faster than he could replace them, and now he lost his lead warrior, Nathanial.
Nathanial was dead, and over forty of Zayne's guards were dead. Running his hand through his hair as he inhaled through his nose and exhaled through his mouth, trying to calm himself and his beast to no avail, Aragorn wanted blood.
They were taken out by these lethal bullets, and the lab results came back after my analyst took a sample and ran his tests. He confirmed my suspicions.
These fuckers have weaponized the potent serum they inject into the DNA of these creatures that were deadly to them.
Zayne randomly thanked the Goddess that about ninety-six percent of hunters, if not more, don't act in that capacity anymore, hunting our kind. Because of their skill set and these weapons, the wolves were done for.
