Chapter 9
All the way down in the elevator, Claire hold Mason’s hand nervously with all her palms sweating profusely almost as if it is boiling and Mason couldn’t help but notice the sweaty palm of his sister and how nervous she is;
“Why are you this nervous?”, Mason asked Claire
“It is just a long night bro”, Claire responded
Mason decided to take her word for it and went downwards with his sister to the IT department.
They eventually got to the department which took them like forever to get there;
“oh you are here again, seems you misses your elevator earlier?”, Jimmy said doubtfully.
“Not really, I am having an issue with my phone but I was a bit drunk to stupor earlier so I couldn’t focus right”, Mason explained and Claire is feeling uncomfortable and she asked for the restroom in which Jimmy directed her quickly.
“so what is the actual problem with the phone?”, Jimmy asked.
“I think I might have been hacked”, Mason said.
“Really! Who dares hack the phone on an engineer, that son of a bit**h is going down”, Jimmy said arrantly.
Mason smiled and said;
“don’t go easy on him because he caused me so much pain already”, Mason said blatantly as he assumed the hacker must be a man.
Claire in the restroom talking to herself;
“This is a problem to deal with and I doubt it if I can deal with this alone, I only have one of these ladies numbers”, Claire said
“I don’t even know if Jimmy would show Mason something that can implicate me”, Claire thought.
“or I should contact Susan and try to use her expertise?”, Claire thought again
“but she has no idea I love my brother so much”, Claire said.
Susan use to be Claire’s best friend in high school and they are more of ‘bff’ but they have not been talking together for a while because Claire has been putting her attention mostly on her obsession with her brother. Susan is a computer Guru who hacks almost anything but she doesn’t hack financial institutions.
Susan has been off the radar for a while as well because she just landed a gig with a tech company recently. Although Susan has no idea about Claire’s feelings for her brother.
In prison, Bernado sent for Gomez as Gomez has been held tight to the table in the laundry room;
“Spread his legs”, Bernado said as his men spread the legs of Gomez wide open.
“please Bernado, don’t do this to me”, Gomez pleaded
“don’t you know the meaning of a life for life and a ball for a ball?”, Bernado said as he brings out a hammer from his toolbox.
“There’s nothing I could have done about it”, Gomez still pleading
“I don’t care!”, Bernado said as he rants
“plea..”, Gomez still pleading as Bernado’s men covers his mouth and Bernado brings the hammer closer to smash Gomez’s balls.
“Poosh”, Gomez’s balls sounds as he collapses.
Bernado told his men to take Gomez to the emergency care unit after the horror that just happened. Will was in his room with no idea of what just happened.
However, Claire comes out from the restroom feeling nervous still because she is still yet to hear what her brother would say about the check-up of the phone but apparently Jimmy is still running a diagnosis on the phone which is currently on fifty per cent. Mason is already in the shift room relaxing with his shirt and trousers off.
Claire came in to see her brother sleeping in shorts and suddenly her lustful feeling for her brother stepped in which made her go out again just the moment she entered the room.
Mason heard the sound of the door opening and closing; he woke up instantly.
“who’s there?”, Mason asked curiously.
“It’s me, Claire”, Claire responded because she is just at the other end of the door outside.
“Why did you go back out?”, Mason asked curiously.
“Nothing, I just wanted to take my phone but I found out it is in my pocket”, Claire covered that brilliantly.
“Oh.. Oh.. Okay, I think you should get some sleep because it will soon be past midnight”, Mason said.
“Oh okay”, Claire responded.
Claire moved towards the bed to sleep beside Mason even though she knows how much she would be tempted with her brother sleeping beside her in shorts.
“I just feel like using my lips to stroke his nipples”, Claire thought
“Why aren’t you sleeping?”, Mason said calmly
“I also don’t know but I assume the sleep would come soon enough”, Claire said
“See how smooth and sexy his voice is”, Claire thought.
“Or am I under a curse for being his sister because I don’t think I can have enough”, Claire thought.
It’s is almost five in the morning and Jimmy was about to clock out from his shift but he already has the result of the diagnosis of the phone and he is ready to give the phone back to Mason.
“Engr. Mason, it’s time to see something on your phone, please come!
Immediately Claire heard the voice of Jimmy calling Mason for something about his phone, she become nervous with her heart racing and pounding exceptionally.
Did Jimmy show Mason the truth about his phone?
At Jasmine’s apartment, Richard came in hurriedly to tell his sister something about the call he just received but surprisingly, he saw his mother;
“mum! You didn’t tell me you were here?”, Richard asks
“I came to give your sister a surprise for her birthday coming up soon”, Pamela responds with her rehearsed lie.
“oh! That’s true”, Richard said
“imagine! You forgot your sister’s birthday?”, Pamela said
“it’s ok mum, I think he is here for another reason, so let’s hear him out”, Jasmine said
“I’m sorry sis, I only came to tell you I received a call from dad’s prison, and I was told he has been transferred to the la Christi prison in eastern Texas”.
Apparently, Salomon and Will are now in the same prison after Salomon just got transferred.
