Luca awakes the next day alone. He is not sure if he dreamt Reese being with him or if he has been hallucinating. Mrs. Resva comes in to check on him while he is getting out of bed.

“You better sir,” Mrs. Resva asks.

“I think so. What happened?” Luca asks.

Mrs.Resva is very perplexed. “Sir You had food poisoning. Remember ?” she asks.

Luca sits on the side of the bed. “Not really. I don’t remember anything except Reese. Reese was here correct?” he says.

“Yes, and her brother stayed with you also while she worked at the studio with Kat. Are you sure you’re able to go back to work today?” Mrs.Resva asks.

Luca collects his thoughts. “Yes I have to go back today,” Luca says.

Luca dismisses Mrs.Resva. He leaves his bedroom and goes to the shower. When Luca steps into the shower he remembers falling the day before. “What the hell happened?” he says.

Luca dismisses the thought and continues showering. He has to get to the office. He was absent the day before and is sure he has a mountain of work waiting for him.

Luca tries to concentrate on getting ready and getting out the door. Reese is heavy on his mind. He wonders if Reese went to the studio last night. He vaguely remembers the day before.

“Luca, the office is calling wanting to know if you are coming in or going straight to the studio,” Mrs. Resva beckons from beyond the door.

“I am going to the office,” Luca says.

Luca finishes getting ready and heads out of the house. He feels the need to get to the office. He is not sure why but he knows he needs to get there quickly.

Luca speeds down the highway to get to the office. He makes it there in record time. He parks his car in the private parking garage for him and his employees. He gets out and heads to his private elevator.

The elevator door opens on his floor. Everyone looks shocked to see him back at work so soon after being sick yesterday. Luca pays them no attention. He goes to his office. He doesn’t even speak to Ali as he goes into his office.

Reese was waiting for him in his office. “Luca, I have everything caught up for you. I worked in the studio last night. Kat is off tonight so I am going to work a few hours and then go home and take a nap,” Reese says.

Luca is confused. “I hear I had food poisoning but I don’t remember eating anything except at the dungeon,” Luca says.

“Yeah, I looked after you and when I went to the studio I had my brother look after you,” Reese says.

“I see,” Luca says.

Reese moves closer to Luca. Luca takes a sit in his office chair. Reese sits down on his desk and crosses her legs. “Do you want my report about what happened at the studio last night?” she asks.

Luca looks up at Reese. “I am sure you handled everything. I was thinking you should be over the studio, Reese. What do you think?” Luca says.

“You don’t want me in the office?” she asks.

“No No No. You would still need to come to the office some but I think Kat and the other girls would like having a woman over the studio. So, What do you think?” Luca says.

Reese thinks about it for a second. “Whatever you think is best, sir,” she says.

“I think you would be great working with them,” Luca says.

Reese gets off Luca’s desk. She thinks that maybe she misread the situation. As she walks away Luca grabs her hand. “Wait,” he says.

Reese turns around and faces him. “Sir,” she says.

Luca pulls her down to him and kisses her sweetly.

“I am sorry,” he says.

“Don’t be,” she says.
