Ace's PoV

I smiled as I felt Unice caress my hair, and I let go when I hugged her and wiped her tears.

"Don't cry. I'm here," I told Unice, surprising her.

"When have you been sweet to me? You're psychotic and obsessed with me. How did you suddenly become sweet?" Unice asked me abruptly.

"Don't you want me to be nice and sweet to you once in a while?" I inquired, and I stroked Unice's cheek.

"It's not that I don't want to, but it doesn't seem like you're the type of man who's so sweet because you prefer sex and seeing my body naked," Unice explained, and I laughed.

"What's the point of your laughter?" Unice inquired.

"I think you like me because I'm good at having sex, and you're the only woman I want to touch and love," I explained to Unice, smiling.

"Did you change your mind? Are you planning on having sex with me tonight?" I smiled again when Unice asked.

"Do you want to have sex with me every night like that?" When I asked Unice, I noticed her cheek turn red.

"No! I like sex because your dick is big, but don't get too excited about what I say sometimes," Unice explained.

"I was just hyped if your look in my sight is so beautiful, but now I can see that you are sad and worried about something," I explained to her, and she was shocked.

"Let's take a break today and eat later. I'll order some food. Max will deliver it later," I explained to Unice.

"Do you not want me to cook?" Unice inquired.

"Didn't I tell you to take a break? It means don't cook for now," I told Unice as I stood up to return to my room.

"Can I sleep in your room? I can't sleep alone because I'm used to being next to you," Unice explained, which surprised me.

"It's fine, but don't tease me because I might have done something to you," I told Unice, and she immediately nodded.

Unice was the first to enter my room, and she immediately sat down on my bed while I sat down and took my phone. When I looked to see if Max had texted me or if anyone was chatting in our group chat, all I saw were nudes of various women.

"What are you doing there?" Unice asked me, and I was shocked.

"I'm just checking my social media; didn't I tell you to rest? I'll call Max later so he can take our dinner order," I said, and she nodded when I looked at her.

"All right, wake me up when our order is here," Unice said to me, hugging the pillow and closing her eyes.

I got up and approached Unice while she was sleeping because she was facing me. I knelt and kissed her cheeks; if she hadn't smiled, I would have kissed Unice's forehead.

"I knew it! You're going to kiss me!" I was surprised when Unice touched my cheek with both of her hands.

"Is it not okay if I kiss you on the forehead?" I inquired about Unice.

"Forehead? I thought on my lips," Unice stammered to me, so I laughed. I stood up and adjusted her blanket.

"Go to sleep. I'll save that kiss for later," I said as I leaned back in my chair.

I picked up my phone once more and looked for food that we could eat tonight, and I was craving meat like Deen Biasa food. Maybe I'll order something from a restaurant so we can have a nice dinner tonight.

I saw a restaurant website and searched for the dish I wanted; I knew Unice would eat it because she wasn't picky about food. After time had passed, I had decided on the restaurant from which we would order, and Max would take our order.

I saw Max's text that he was already out of the house, and I ordered dinner at the restaurant of my choice. I looked at Unice, sound asleep, and I got up, and I almost woke her up when her expression changed.

"Mom..." Unice said softly and raised her hand, so I took her hand in mine.

Her expression changed again when I stroked Unice's head; she calmed down, and I smiled. It was unthinkable that we had both been through traumatic experiences in the past; it just happened differently in our family.

I saw the delivery boy coming here 30 minutes later, so it's a good thing I put Max's name on the food picker. Maybe if it's me, it will think and recognize me and don't realize he already knows who I am, so I have to be extra cautious.

When I solve my problem, I may form a company where I will be the sole proprietor. I will work legally and will include my men for them to earn money as well.

"Unice, I'm going to eat some of your food," I said this, and she abruptly awoke, so I secretly laughed.

"Where's the food? I'm hungry," I stood up as Unice said this.

"It's here already," I said as I exited my room.

I saw Max take our food and show the delivery boy that it had been paid for. Max thanked him, and the delivery boy left. Max knocked and handed me the food and gave him the particular dish.

"I know you're hungry, and you hadn't eaten when you came here," I said, and Max laughed.

"Doesn't it appear that you're changing because of Unice?" Max inquired.

"I'm not sure, but I might change," I told Max as I shut the door.

When I returned to the room, Unice was sitting on the bed. She was surprised to see the food, so I placed it on the table and served it to the two of us.

"It appears that the food you purchased is pricey," Unice commented.

"What else do you expect from a wealthy individual like me? Of course, I'll also purchase delectable food, "I told Unice, and after putting the three dishes, I gave her a plastic spoon and fork and sat down.

"Aren't you going to get our drinks?" Of course, Unice inquired, and I did not order our drinks because we had Cola in the fridge.

I got up and left the room, going to the kitchen and opening the fridge, taking two colas, then returning to the room and seeing that Unice was eating, indicating that she was hungry.

"Is it delicious?" I asked her, and she nodded.

While we were eating, I began to eat as well. I was looking at Unice because she was enjoying what she was eating; it was delicious, and she had calmed down and wasn't thinking about her traumatic past.

But for me, I can't stop thinking about what happened to my family. If I don't avenge them, I won't live at peace even if Unice is here. If I kill the person who murdered my family, I may keep quiet and refrain from stealing money from others, even though I have my own money.

"It looks like you are thinking deeply," I heard Unice said and she was looking at me.

"I'm not thinking deeply; I'm thinking about how to protect you," I told Unice. She was surprised; I knew I had lied to her, even though that wasn't what I was thinking.

"Why would you think of that? Are you part of a group looking for someone to fight?" When Unice asked, I burst out laughing.

"I'm not a member of any group; perhaps you think those around me are. You made a mistake because I paid them to be my guards and then obeyed me," I responded to Unice, and she nodded in response. Unice sipped her Cola.

"But it appears that's how you and your companions are referred to; it's still a group," Unice said to me, her bra strap starting to fall.

"I'm stopping myself from getting horny right now," I said, and Unice looked down at her body.

"I'm not naked—" she came to a halt when she noticed her bra strap was down.

"I didn't even notice! Just don't look at my body if you don't want to get horny." I laughed as she said this.
