Chapter 31 Almost rejected

Amaya pov

A knock on my door wakes me up.

"Amaya! Come on, breakfast is ready! We have lots to do today. "

"Just a minute, Evolet! Please! You can go ahead. I'll be there in 5!"

"Ok. But please don't go back to sleep. "

"I won't! I'm up already! "I said chuckling.

I take a quick shower, put on some black trousers, a grey jumper and black boots that I find in the dressing room.

I get out of my room, trying to remember the way. After few steps, I already could hear the laughter coming from downstairs.

I make my way in what should be the dining room, to see Evolet, Blaze and another girl sitting on the lap of a very tall man.

"Aaahh!Amaya! Meet my good friend Willow and her Alter Titus! "Evolet said pointing at the couple.

"Hi!Nice to meet you! I'm Amaya. But you already know that!" I said with a small smile.

"Nice to meet you too Amaya! Evolet told us everything already! "said the girl while the man nodded.

"Why are you all so loud?! Can't a man enjoy his sleep? " came a voice from behind me, that sent chills through my body.

"Oren! Finally, the princess has arrived! Forgive us, Your Majesty! "Evolet said and everyone starts laughing.

"Hahaha! You laugh while you can, this won't remain like that! "he said in a grumpy voice.

"Come on Oren! I was joking. Come, meet Amaya, my Guardian. "

"Amaya this grumpy princess is Oren, my brother! "

I turn around to greet him, but when my eyes meet his we both froze.

'No! Please not now!' i thought.

"Guys? Is everything alright? You both look like you just have seen a ghost. "Willow said.

"I Ummm...I need to go get something from my room! The..the book!Yeah, the book. If we start training with your elements today, maybe something change.." I said looking away. The pain in his eyes makes my heartache. But I can't have an Alter! Not now!

"Nice to meet you, Oren!" I said looking down hoping he won't say anything.

"Is it? Really? Is it nice to meet me? It doesn't look like that! "He said angry obvious in his voice.

"Oren!What the hell?If you are mad at me take it with me! That's rude! Amaya, please forgive this ashole!"Evolet said.

I nod and made my way to the stairs, avoiding his glare.

"You know what? I'll go back to sleep! "I heard Oren saying.

I start walking faster hoping he won't catch me before I get to my room. I don't want to do this.

When I get in front of my room I sigh in relief, but I was celebrating too early. A hand grabs my arm and I'm pushed against the wall.

I look up to see a very angry Oren.

"You're hurting me! Please let me go! I said.

"I am hurting you? I ? What about you? What was that about? You can feel that we are Alters don't you?"

"I... I don't! "I lie.

"Don't lie to me!" he said smashing his fist on the wall next to me. I flinch at that. Tears start running from my closed eyes.

"I... I'm sorry! Please don't push me away. Whatever is your reason, don't send me away. I've been waiting for you for so long!" he said putting his palm on my face.

I open my eyes to see tears building in his.

"I... I can't do this! I'm sorry Oren! But I can't have an Alter! Not now! Please, you need to understand! I need time! "I said in a pleading voice.

"I'll give you time! I'll give you my life if you want it! Just don't push me away! I can be your friend till you'll be ready for more! Please allow me near you! I need this. Let me protect you!" he said, a single tear falling from his eyes.

"Ok! But you need to promise you won't rush me nor you'll question my decisions!"

"I promise! I promise I'll do everything you want! Just don't go near any man! I won't be able to control myself! "

"I won't! "I said with a smile.

'Oh my Goodness! He is so sweet! But I can't accept him as my Alter right now. At least I can have him near me, to calm me down. '

"Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get the book and head back. I need to help Evolet with her training ".

"What training? Can I come too?"

"Why not? Wait here! I'll explain everything to you!"

We went back downstairs after I explained to him all about me being the so-called Guardian of Celestia and Evolet the bearer of the purple light.

"So, Evolet are you ready for your training? "I asked.

"Yes! Let's go! We will train for few hours and then we'll start planning Willow's ceremony. "she said excitedly. She kisses Blaze cheek and he pinches her ass, making her jump in surprise. Willow was laughing so hard and Titus had a huge smile on his face! They were happy for their friends.

"What's going on here?"Oren asked confused.

"Well.. it seems like Blaze is my Alter !"

"Your Alter? But how? When did all of this happen? I slept for few hours and when I wake up my sister have an Alter and superpowers and a Guardian! This is crazy man!" he said."But I'm happy for you, sis! As long as you are!" he added hugging her and kissing her forehead.

"Thank you, brother! Now let's go! I have a long day ahead! "Evolet said, pushing him slightly.

We all went to the palace garden, which was huge, by the way! Perfect for our training. It was cold, but the sun was bright.

"Ok! So now ..let's do this. The last time when we touched the light appeared. The book also says I'm the only one who can connect with your power. so if I'm right if you'll take my hand it will be much easier for you to find your elements and learn how to control them. As you already have the water, we can start with this.

I took her hand and as I expecting the light appeared. It was more powerful now!

"Ok Evolet! Now think about water!"

She nodded her head. After few minutes when we almost lost our hope the rain started. I look at Evolet to see the light brighter than before.

Then the rain transforms into snow, only to suddenly stop and the sun was shining bright again.

"This will be easier than I thought! "I said.

"I did it! I can't believe I did it!"Evolet said running to Blaze.

"Yes!Yes, love! You did it! I'm so proud of you!"Blaze said kissing her.
