We let Willow and Titus talk alone, and went to the kitchen.

My parents, Oren and Amaya were already there.

"Good morning! "I said and took a seat next to Amaya, and Blaze the one next to me.

"Good morning! "they all said.

Just then the door opened.

"Happy birthday! "I heard and I look to see my grandparents, Farys and Enya.

"Oh my God! Guys, I didn't think you'll make it!" I said getting up and hugging them.

We sat down and eat while talking and laughing. Willow and Titus joined us after about 20 minutes. It was like there wasn't a war at our steps. It felt so good. But nothing good last too long in a time like this. We need to stop this war, we need to stop Aalto.

"Dad? What do you know about Noelani? How she and my father met? Where exactly? And how long after she gets pregnant with me?" I asked. They all stopped and looked at me. Saddens in their eyes.

"Well..they met at The Market. It was Air Celebration. They fell in love the moment they have seen each other. She moved with him a week later. "

"So she wasn't a Water elemental? "

"No! Noelani was an Air elemental. She was from one of the oldest family in the Air Kingdom. She was a Zephyrine! As you now know, the women in their family were a gift from Gods. But no one knew what exactly, as there wasn't a war in hundred years."

"So ..this must sound a bit weird..but ..by any chance do you know when they conceived me?" I said blushing. Blaze chuckled and I slapped his arm.

"Umm...I'm not sure!"My father said, his face now tomato red.

"They were at her house. I can tell. The same evening they met, they went there. A month later she found out she was pregnant."Zefir said this time.

"So it seems like the heart of my realm is the Air Kingdom, not the Water Kingdom. Of course!"

Blaze smiled at me.

"Do you know how this dagger looks like?"Amaya asked this time.

"I might have it...I mean I'm not sure! But it might be the one my grandmother gave to me! She said to keep it safe even if I'll die for."Amaya said.

I looked at her surprised. "What? Can I see it? Please!"

"Yeah sure," she said getting up.

We went to her room.

She took out some that look like animal skin and open it. Inside it was a dagger. A silver dagger with letters encrusted on the handle.

"There is something written here, but I don't know the language. So I can't tell what it says. I'm sorry!" I nodded and grabbed the dagger.

It feels so light. I inspect it, but I couldn't figure out if this was the one I needed.

"This is so frustrating! How should I know if this is the right one?" I said looking at its blade. I saw my reflection in it and I jump a bit when I noticed my eyes. They were purple again. The blade pricked my finger and it was bleeding now.

But instead of falling, the blood seems like it was absorbed by the dagger.

"What's happening? Are you ok, Evolet? "Blaze asked. I just nod. Not wanting to look away.

The blood disappeared and the letters seem to rearrange themselves. I could read what it says now.

To break the curse one needs to die. The one whose blood is blue!

"What's the meaning of this? Who has blue blood? "o asked confused.

"It might be a metaphor! It might be blue blood like royal blood! "Blaze said looking out the window. "It might be the blood of a God.."

My eyes widening in realisation.

"It's me! It's my blood that needs to be spilt! This is the price! Of course! It's a sacrifice! "

"No! I won't allow this! "

"But..but you will die! I can't let you die, Blaze! I can't live without you! "I said tears running down my face.

"Either can't I! I won't allow you to die for me, Evolet!" he said taking the knife from my hands and leaving the room.

I fell to the floor. My head spinning. I couldn't stop crying.

"Sshhh!Everything is going to be ok!"Amaya said kneeling next to me.

"I'll go talk to him!"Enya said with teary eyes and she left.

"I'm sure there's another way! It must be!"Amaya said.

"It's not! That dagger is the only way! And to break the curse I need to sacrifice myself! I need to die to save Blaze!"

I cried for hours! Thinking about what and how should I do.

"We need a distraction! Something to make them all forget about all of this!Something big!"

"Ok...?" she said, sounding more like a question.

After few more minutes of thinking an idea popped into my head.

"I know! Willow's ceremony! It's in six-day! When everyone will be so busy dancing, eating and all, we will go. I need you to come with me, to show me the way, as I never was to the Water Kingdom! Then you may leave! I'll find a way to kill that bastard! "

"I won't leave you! I'm your Guardian Evolet! I'll always be by your side. Remember? "she said with a smile, putting her small hands over mine

"Thank you, Amaya !" I said hugging her.

"But we need to train harder! If we want to kill that mutt, we need to be as strong as we can be! So meet me tomorrow at 5 in the back garden! "

I nod and I left her room.
