Chapter 38

The world stopped around the two souls as their lips molded over each other, passionately, vehemently, aggressively.

Emmaline was too stunned to react but the zap of current that ripped through their souls binding them together calmed her nerves down. A euphoric feeling made her close her eyes as she slowly reciprocated, shyly and slowly. But the man who was ravaging her lips like a parched traveler was too eating her lips as if they were his favorite meal.

But was he to be blamed?

No, cause as soon as her dry mouth tasted those cherry plumps, the Alpha King lost his mind and composure. The moment his eyes had fallen over heart-shaped lips that were tainted with dark red lipstick, the thought to taste them burst inside his heart. Gripping her right cheek in her palm, he started feasting on her lips like an animal making Emmaline moan in pain and pleasure.

The taste was divine and sweet, only for him. Sticking his tongue out, he gave a gentle lick on her upper lips before engulfing them in his mouth. A tear slid down her eye as he was being too rough. But Damien like the perfect boyfriend took care of her every need as he cautiously wiped her tears with his thumb before caressing her cheeks lovingly.

Her subtle consent gave a tremendous fillip to his pride and hunger to ravage her. He turned greedy with his kisses.

“Mmpff”

Emmaline tried to push him back not able to cope with his pace but Damien muffled all her resistances by thrusting his tongue in her mouth. A loud gasp echoed in the dark room as he slightly touched the center of her passion. Placing his large palm below her head, he snaked his other hand around her waist to protect her fragile body from the cold and hard concrete floor. Emmaline also lost in a daze circled her dainty hands around his neck as he made her lie comfortably on his muscular arms.

The girl was far gone in understanding the morals as the Alpha had finally trapped his butterfly in his beautifully woven web of sinful love.

Both weren’t to be blamed because they both had felt the mate bond. No matter how hard Emmaline tries to resist Damien, she failed. His one touch was strong enough to melt her into a puddle. She wasn’t aware but her heart craves his touch, her eyes yearn for his presence and as soon he appears in front of her eyes, her soul as if in pilot mode felt at peace. Emmaline was too naïve to understand it but she desires him as much as Damien does. Maybe she failed to see that as his vile deeds always stop her from listening to her heart. But no matter how much she denies it, her heart had accepted Damien long ago before she had even realized it.

Cupping the back of her head, Damien tilted his face before angling perfectly to devour her mouth. His hot tongue prodded her mouth, caressing her shy one to dance along with him. Moans and groans reverberated through the empty walls as they kissed each other like long-lost lovers. Saliva dripped from their mouth, coating their chins making them a nasty but hot mess.

Tightening his grip on her waist, Damien pulled her up along with him. Emmaline gasped as his veiny hands glided down from her head, caressing her back before grabbing her rear. The hold turned a bit rough which made her whimper. Detaching her lips, she threw her head back as Damien hooked her legs on his waist making her sit on his lap.

His jaw clenched when his gaze fell on her erotic expression and hooded eyes. Her long, silver tresses danced in the air as she panted heavily with closed eyes. A sheer desire to claim her at the moment caused his chest to heave rhythmically.

Damien leaned forward again to capture her swollen rose petals in his mouth but halted when something soft brushed against his palm. He quickly looked down but what he saw next made him gulp his drool.

Emmaline had chosen a sleeveless V-neck, black shimmery gown with a thigh slit for the party. The dress was decent but because of their intense makeout session, her gown had ridden off to her waist exposing her creamy legs to his naked eyes.

Damien ground his molars as his eyes raked over her bare legs that were trembling, partially because of cold and partially due to his torture. His grip on her legs automatically tightened as a depraved thought of seeing his marks on her struck his mind.

“Ahh!!”

Emmaline whimpered and fisted his shirt while squeezing her eyes shut. A tingling sensation erupted in her stomach feeling his hands caressing her skin. All this was new to her but she wouldn’t deny that it felt heavenly. Damien smirked as he read her nasty thoughts. Wanting to give her more pleasure, he groped her right thigh and with his left hand, cupped her left buttcheek as he pulled her to himself with a jerk. His reprobate act made Emmaline scream in pure carnal pleasure. Her core clenched over nothing but she could feel something wet down there.

But that’s when the Alpha King froze on spot.

Damien’s eyes widened. That scream was the reality check that instantly pulled him out of his trance.

He immediately removed his hands from her and placed her on the ground as if her touch burned him. Losing the warmth, Emmaline also opened her eyes with a scowl plastered on her face. She was still drowned in the pool of lust and want but Damien had regained his senses.

“Fuck, Fuck. DAMMIT, WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME!!” He cursed out loud as he grabbed his forehead. His face morphed into shock and pure guilt.

‘What the hell was I doing? She’s underage, asshole.’ Damien facepalmed and continued scolding himself.

‘How could I lose control like this? She’s immature but I should have been in my senses. Instead of apologizing, I started forcing myself on her. Fuck, how can I even do that?’

His body started shivering. Beads of sweat collected on his forehead as he felt ashamed and embarrassed. His wolf pushed him to the edge but Damien had good self-control. He was aware that he would have ruined her chastity if his stupor hadn’t broken.

Damien couldn’t control himself anymore and swung his fist at the wall, carving a big hole. The impact shook the dungeon as a swarm of dust covered the entire place. His head dropped in shame and self-loathe, guilt ramming his heart.

Damien turned completely blank; he couldn’t even muster up the courage to face Emmaline. But a soft sob grabbed his attention.

With clenched fists and a thundering heart, he turned around ever so slowly only to witness the most heart-wrenching scene of his life.

His mate was crying, her body curled into a ball and her shoulders shaking with every sob which definitely tore his heart into shreds. Her state was disheveled, with unruly hair, and her legs were still exposed as she did not attempt to cover up her dignity. The strings that were made of pearls meant to hold her gown in place had fallen, revealing her cleavage. She looked broken and hopeless.

“Em”

Damien breathed in an inaudible tone as he extended his hands forward, not able to watch her in this state but his legs remained glued to the ground. Deep down he was afraid of her reaction. He couldn’t build the courage to even go near her so consoling her was completely out of the picture.

With a guilt-stricken face, Damien kept watching her crying with teary eyes when all of a sudden a deep voice echoed in the dingy room. A frown settled on his brows as he turned to locate the owner of the voice. But what he saw next instantly replaced his sorrow with rage.

“EMMA!!!” Matteo screamed as he rushed inside and immediately engulfed a sobbing Emmaline in his arms who also clung to him willingly. His eyes were filled with horror and anger. Tightening his hold, he started patting her head as she cried her heart out while clutching the lapel of his coat in her shivering hands.

“Sorry Babe but don’t worry. I am here now. Nothing will happen to you.” He grated out and turned his head to Damien who was already watching him with piercing eyes. Circling his hands around her body, Matteo made Emmaline stand on her feet. He pressed her head against his chest completely shielding her from the predatory eyes that were watching all his moves carefully.

Damien stepped forward, his eyes dead set on Emmaline who was trembling like a leaf in Matteo’s hold. Silence engulfed them, the only sound that could be heard was his heavy breaths that even shook the air that had enveloped them.

Damien took a step in their direction. The veins on his forehead throbbed as he saw how Emmaline cowered back in dread, clinging more to Matteo.

“Come here.”

He stated calmly, his words and his eyes directed only toward Emmaline. Her body jolted in response but the way he delivered those words sent a cold shiver down her spine.

They felt more like a warning.

Panicked, Emmaline sniffed and cocooned herself hiding her face with Matteo’s coat. Matteo was taken aback by her move. His heart skipped multiple beats but he ignored those wild beatings and focused his attention on protecting her.

“Come, Princess, I won’t repeat it.” Damien raged, his voice shaking with fury.

Matteo shot him a glare, “SHUT THE FUCK UP, BASTARD.”

He hollered and took a step back as he pushed Emmaline slightly behind himself.

“OFFICER!!”

Matteo shouted and the next moment, cops rushed inside the dungeon and stood in front of him and Damien like a barrier.

Damien clenched his fists, his eyes turning pitch dark as he watched how Matteo took advantaged of the opportunity and escorted Emmaline out. Incensed, he also tried to chase them but was held back by cops. He immediately threw a death glare toward one of the officers who tried to restrain him.

The poor guy blanched in fear, “K-Kindly cooperate Mr. Knight and stop otherwise-”

“OTHERWISE, WHAT HUH??” He screamed in his face turning him white as a sheet. The senior officer quickly stepped in.

“We have strict orders, Mr. Knight. It would be better if you just step back and not let things escalate further.” He spoke sternly. The cops had orders from Mr. Stefanini but they also knew it well not to mess with Damien. They were well aware of his authority and reputation.

Damien let out a growl as he turned to him and was about to attack him when Ryan and Zion intervened.

“Stop it, Damien.” Zion rebuked and pulled him back while Ryan turned to settle the matter.

“FUCKING ASSHOLE, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TAKE MY EM AWAY!! LET GO OF ME ZION!! THEY’LL REPAY FOR MESSING WITH ME!!” Damien roared as he struggled violently to pounce on the cops who stared at him horrified.

“Stop making a scene dammit. You’re Em’s life will come in danger. Calm down.” Zion whispered in his ears. Damien stilled for a minute and unwillingly dropped his weapons.

Watching him calm down, Zion then gestured to Ryan who quickly made the cops evacuate the place.

Heaving a deep sigh, Zion then turned to Damien who was back facing him. His rugged breaths rang in the empty walls indicating his anger. Gulping, he walked closer to him and placed his hand on his right shoulder.

“Man, listen-“ He opened his mouth to comfort his friend but was cut off by his dark voice.

“Kill that boy, Zion.”
