Bella felt suffocated in the car. She knew that pregnant women used to feel like that. But this breathlessness is too much for her. She looked at Roy and said, "Stop the car."

Roy looked at her and stopped the car. She got out and held her stomach. She was taking rigorous breaths.

Roy came near her and asked, "Are you alright?"

"No, I felt terrible," Bella said.

Roy was getting worried. He asked, "Shall we go to see the doctor?"

"No need. It happened. Just give me some time," Bella replied.

Roy nodded and sat on the bonnet. He opened his phone and massaged Ash. He wrote that they got married. And looked at Bella. He could not believe that in one night he married someone. He was not happy but not sad either. He knew that he had to take responsibility. He saw that Bella was relaxing a bit. Bella has brown hair, unlike Rose. And her eyes have a honey brown color. It felt like honey was dropping into her white sclera. It's eye soothing. He was thinking about how happy Levi and she would be if they married each other.

He knew he did not deserve her. And sighed. Bella heard it and thought to herself that maybe he was irritated that she was wasting his time. Bella gritted her teeth and said, "Sorry to waste your time. Let's go."

Roy looked at her and said, "Its okay. You can take your time. Your health comes first."

Bella was about to say more when Roy asked, "Do you want to eat something?"

The moment she heard eating, her stomach growled. Bella's cheek became pink. Roy looked at her embarrassing state and said, "I guess the baby is hungry."

Bella was shocked. She thought he called her baby. The moment he looked at her shocked expression Roy put both hands and said, "Not you, Bella. I mean the baby." Then he pointed at her belly."

Bella nodded and blushed again. She said in a low tone, "I don't know but I'm constantly getting hungry."

"I think every pregnant woman does," Roy said. Roy looked around and said, "Let's go. I will take you somewhere to eat."

Bella said, "I want to eat a subway sandwich."

Roy laughed and said, "You make Levi crazy for sandwiches." And he remembered what he just said. Roy looked at her. He saw that the blushing face converted to a pale face. The eyes, which were laughing now, became cloudy.

Bella said, "Yes, I love sandwiches so I used to make him eat with me. And soon he got used to eating it."

Roy knew he made her sad. Roy scolded himself. He thought 'great, I made the girl sad in five minutes. I promised Levi I would make her happy but after 5 minutes I made her sad to the point that she would cry.'

Roy said, "Sorry, I had no intention to hurt you."

Bella looked up and saw Roy's head was low down. She did not know what got into her. She went near him and held his hand. Roy looked up. She said, "Its okay. Levi was there and always will be. As much as I miss him, I know you miss him too. Therefore, it has all right to talk about him. Moreover, after entering your home I won't be able to talk about him freely. So please don't be sad."

Roy was dumbfounded. He thought he had to console her but instead she was consoling him. For a minute, he thought Bella might be an angel. Bella saw him peculiarly looking at her.

She asked, "What?"

Roy said, "Nothing. Let's go."

Then they went to a shop and ordered take-out. Bella ate her sandwich and remained silent. Roy did not initiate any topic to talk about. After thirty minutes, they reached the house. It was beautiful. The house is a duplex with a pool in the front area. And they had a beautiful garden beside it. It did not scream any luxury but Bella knew each plant was rare breeding.

Roy said, "Welcome to Chowdhury mansion."

Bella took a deep breath and came out. She looked around and she jumped. Someone held her waist. She was about to shout when Roy said, "Mother." She saw a woman in her mid-fifties looking at them. She was thin and wearing a silk gown. She felt that the hand on her waist pressed a little. She looked at the hand then at the person. Roy was looking at his mother. She understood that he wanted her to walk with him. She started to take light steps. Roy followed her. The woman was more beautiful up close. The woman said, "Why is she here?"

Bella swallowed. She knew this would happen. There is no way that they would agree to this marriage.

However, Roy did not faze. He said, "Mother, let's go inside."

Her mother looked at Bella with hatred. Bella also shrunk. But Roy led her inside the house. The interior of the house is up to date. One look and you can tell that it was designed with great care. Nevertheless, the beautiful cannot hold a candle in front of the uneasiness Bella was feeling at that time.

Roy's mother said, "Tell me now. There are no ears."

Bella understood that they were in the presence of others at that time.

Roy said, "Mother, I got married. Bella is my wife. Please accept us."

Bella thought that his mother would shout at them. Tell them she won't approve of this marriage. Bella was ready for the curse. But to her surprise, Roy's mother asked, "Did you marry her for revenge?"

Bella could not understand the meaning. Revenge?

Roy seemed to be confused. He said, "What do you mean by that?"

"Look, son, I know you are angry that you lost your brother. But what about this girl? She was married to him when she was not in love with Edward. Then she asked for a divorce. But she couldn't. Before that her husband was dead. Now that she was about to be free and live her life you took her into another loveless marriage. Tell me, what will you gain from it? I lost someone whom I love. And no matter how much I love him, I know I won't see him again. So I understand the pain of not being able to get the loved one. I am certain this girl also deserves love."

Bella was shocked beyond description. She thought his mother would not approve of her because of her previous marriage. But she didn't approve of it thinking that Bella was forced into this marriage was something Bella never thought.

Roy said, "Mom, I am glad you thought like that about her. You are right. Bella was not in love with her husband. But she was in love with someone."

Bella's heart started to beat fast. Will Roy said that she used to love Levi? But to her disappointment he continued, "Not only that, she is carrying a child with the person she loves. So I have to marry her."

In his whole speech, he never said Bella loved him. Bella understood that he concealed the truth in hidden words.

His mother asked Bella "Is it true?"

Bella nodded.

"Are you pregnant?"

"Yes."

"Is he the father?" His mother asked.

"Mother, sorry to tell you but you are being disrespectful. I know you have the right to ask her but don't you think it proves that you don't believe me," Roy said.

His mother smiled and said, "Good."

She came near Bella. Bella flinched but stood rooted to the same place. His mother said, "Welcome, dear. I am sorry to ask you all those things. I wanted to check something."

Bella did not understand the woman in front of her. How could she agree on this? Bella thought she might be stupid. However, the next thing she said proved Bella wrong.

"I know my son. He never talks with women if not for business. Also, he will never stand for anyone who doesn't deserve it. The way he defends you proves that he cares for you. In addition, there is no way he will bring a person who is carrying someone else's child in this family. He is ruthless when it is about his family. And today he stands before me to point out that I am rude which proves that he loves you enough to stand against me."

Bella understood that the compassion she felt in both brothers came from her. Even the level-headedness came from their mother. Bella smiled. Today again, she felt lucky to love Levi.

She looked at Levi's mother and thought, 'Levi, I am glad I loved you. I am glad to meet with your mother. Please watch over me so that I can live here with your child. And give me strength to tell them the truth.'

She was thinking this when Roy's mom said, "Do you love Roy?"

Bella looked at Roy. He also looked at her. He knew Bella would never agree to it. She already told him that she wanted them to know about Levi and her.

But to his surprise, Bella nodded and said, "I love him. Please let me and my child live here. I will try to be a good daughter-in-law."

Roy's eyes got the size of sausages. However, he understood that Bella did not use his name. Roy smiled and thought not only is she beautiful, but she is also smart. At that time, Roy started to look forward to their lives. He did not know what the future might hold for them. Nevertheless, he knew he would always stand to protect his family.
