Roy looked around the room. It was his room but there was a little change in it. It was a girl who was standing there looking shy. Roy could not guess who was shyer. Was it her or was it him? He cleared his throat. Bella jumped up. Roy saw it and thought 'do you have to be so afraid of me?' However, he swallowed the remarks and said, "Please be comfortable. I am just a human."

Bella understood that he was being sarcastic. She said, "Yes you are human, also a man. Don't you hear that every man is a wolf in disguise?"

Roy was about to say more when they heard a knock. Both looked at each other. Then Roy said, "Come in"

Mrs. Chowdhury came in. She said, "I will help her to unpack. She must be tired."

Bella said, "No need Ma'am. I will do it."

Mrs. Chowdhury frowned and came near Bella. She held Bella's hand. Bella saw them with an interlinked hand. Mrs. Chowdhury said, "Call me mother. After all, you are my daughter-in-law. And I would be glad to hear it from you."

Bella nodded. "I want to help you and also want to chat with you. I hope you don't mind."

Bella was about to nod when Roy said, "Mother, she is pregnant and she had journeyed quite a lot. How about she, rest and after dinner you both can talk. Humm?"

Mrs. Chowdhury sighed and said, "Sorry, I didn't notice. Yes, of course. Take rest, dear. We will talk after dinner."

She hugged Bella. Bella could feel that she was a strong woman but the warmth Bella felt made her want to cry. But she bit her lower lips to hold it in.

Mrs. Chowdhury left. Bella asked, "Why did you do that?"

"Do what?" Roy asked.

"You are rude to your mother. She only wanted to talk with me."

Roy became frustrated. He ruffled his hair and said, "Are you crazy or are you stupid? I did that to protect you?"

"How?" Bella was already angry about the situation. And Roy is aggravating it.

"She was my mother. I know how clever she is. We have to get it straight that we love each other. If she finds out it was a lie both of us will be banished from this world."

Bella got his point. They could not tell it now. They accept her because Roy was the father. But if Roy said that it was Levi's child they won't agree. It is not like Bella wants them to agree but for the child's future, they should lie about it.

"But how long should we lie about it? One day they will know it."

"I know. I will tell them after they get adjusted to you."

"I think it will take quite a time."

"Yes, I will tell-" Roy was about to say more when his phone started to ring.

He saw Ash was calling and said, "Excuse me."

"Hello, Ash"

"Come to my house with Bella. Mr. Karim wants to meet with you."

"Won't it cause any problem?"

"Nope. Just come."

"Okay"

Roy said to Bella, "We are going to Ash's house."

"What?" Bella asked.

"Yes, your father was there so Ash asked us to go."

"Dad knew?"

"He would hear it from somewhere. It's good he learned it from Ash."

"Take a rest and we will leave for dinner."

Bella was concerned about the meeting. Bella asked, “Does Ash know about our marriage?"

What she meant was if Ash knew about Levi and her.

"Yes, Ash knew it was impossible for me to fall in love for such a short time. So I told him the truth."

"He agreed?" Bella was surprised.

"Yes. He did. He knew that you would be safe."

Bella blushed. She knew the meaning behind safe. He promised he would not impose any right of being her husband.

Bella said, "I will take a rest."

She looked at the bed. It was large enough for four elders to sleep. And for some unknown reason, she trusted Roy. She knew he would not harm her. She laid on the bed and closed her eyes.

Roy saw her relaxed face and looked dissatisfied. He thought to himself, ' Is this girl out of her mind? I am standing here but she was not afraid. At first, she was standing at the door looking like a lost puppy. But now she came in and slept on the bed. Was she brave or was she insensitive?'

But no answer came up. So he went to the washroom. Bella was sleeping peacefully in his bed.

Roy and Bella went for dinner. Bella was wearing a baby blue skirt and flat sandals. The color brought out the skin tone of Bella's. She was white as milk and the blue contrast to it made her look more beautiful. Roy was mesmerized by her beauty but shook his head. He scolded himself. He said, "You look pretty."

Bella didn't expect this. Therefore, she was speechless. But soon found her voice and said, "Thank you."

She peeked at Roy. he was wearing a white shirt. She could tell that Roy was not a fan of coats. He took a coat with him but hardly wore it. Also, he would fold his shirt up to the elbow. It made him look younger and the honey eyes, which became clear when he was focused on something made it golden. Like Roy, Bella also shook her head and tried to divert her thoughts. Roy saw it and asked, "What happened?"

"Nothing, let's go."

Roy nodded and they went downstairs.

Mrs. Chowdhury was there. She saw them and asked, "Where are you going?"

"Mother, we are going to Ash's home. Bella's dad was there. We need to greet him."

Mrs. Chowdhury nodded and said, “Go. I and your dad will invite him and resolve the matter."

Roy did not say anything. They went to Ash House. It was the first time for Bella to see it. She was amazed at the beautiful nature, which surrounded the house.

"Wow"

"Do you like it?" Roy asked, giving a sideways glance.

"Yes, it's beautiful."

"Should I buy properties around here? I think it will be good for the baby if you stay in a place where you can relax."

Bella wanted to agree but thought it's better to live with his family.

She said, "No, we should live with your parents."

"Not mine but ours. Did you not hear what mom said? She is quite strict when it comes to addressing her."

Bella shivered and said, "I will keep that in mind."

Roy stopped in front of a huge door. And pressed a bell near the door.

The door opened and he entered without any problem.

Bella asked, "Don't they have any security?"

Roy laughed and said, "Ash house is the most secure house after our president."

Bella looked at the dessert place where there are no security guards in sight.

But she didn't comment on it as Bella knew Roy wouldn't lie about it.

They came inside the house. Rose was sitting there. Bella looked at Rose and grasped. Rose was thin. She was thin to the point that if someone pokes her with a finger she might fall.

As Bella was looking at Rose, Rose too was looking at her. Bella was thin. And the bugs under her eyes were prominent. Rose opened her arms and said, "Bella."

Bella came running to her. She hugged her sister. It was two years seven months since Bella last hugged her sister. She missed it.

Bella asked, "Why are you skinny like that?"

She knew John kidnapped her but she thought Rose would not be mistreated as she was John's daughter. But she didn't know Kohn was a heartless bastard.

Rose smiled and said, "Things happened."

And she saw Ash was coming downstairs. Ash saw Bella and Rose. First, he was shocked to see Bella hugging her. He thought Bella would blame Rose for Levi's death. But to see her hugging Rose made him confused.

How can that girl forgive Rose? He thought.

"Same," Roy said.

"What?" Ash asked.

"I am thinking the same. How could she forgive Rose?"

Rose saw them talking and told them she needed to talk with Bella. Both nodded and Rose took Bella with her.

Rose closed the door of the guest room and looked at Bella.

She said, "Now, my dear sister, tell me the truth."
