Chris sighed. He looked into her eyes and asked, "What is your relationship with him? When you were in China, were you guys a thing?"

She didn't know how to answer him.

They seemed to have been a thing.

However, they had never confirmed their relationship. So even she didn't know what their relationship was.

Chris had never seen her so anxious before.
