"FORCE RESIGNATION 1"
"Are you okay now?" Lara asked her husband the next day as she helped him fix his necktie.
A kind and beautiful smile broke Joaquin's lips. After that, the man took her hand that was in his necktie then raised it and kissed it tenderly.
"Of course. I believe we can handle everything. What do you think?” Joaquin asked her.
Lara nodded then sighed although the beautiful smile remained on her lips. "Of course. We can handle everything because we love each other," she answered.
By that time Nanny Loring and Callie had already left. That's why they are the only two left in the house.
"It's like I don't want to go to the office right now," said Joaquin to her.
Lara's eyebrows immediately met after hearing what Joaquin said.
“W-What?”
Even though she already had an idea of what Joaquin meant by what he said, Lara still couldn't stop laughing.
“Stop! I have to go to work today. Maybe you've forgotten," she said then laughed softly.
Joaquin's eyebrows rose and then he carried her effortlessly then quickly laid her down on the bed. At the speed of events, she did not realize that she was under her husband while he was kissing her earnestly.
"What if I ask you to resign? Is it okay with you?"
When Joaquin released her lips that's what he pointed at.
Lara secretly felt happy with Joaquin's suggestion. But when she remembered her father she had enough reason to reject what her husband wanted to happen.
"That's a good idea. But you know that Papa depends on me, don't you?" she asked Joaquin in a tone that was trying to make him understand her situation.
Joaquin nodded. "I'll take care of his and Leandro’s allowance if that's what you're worried about," he said.
Lara quickly shook her head because of that.
"Oh, that's not possible. Papa is not your obligation. And one more thing, what will your father say when that happens?" she explained.
"My father doesn't need to know about that. And one more thing, I just thought that since your line is also in business. Why don't you start your own? By the way, what is your dream business?” asked Joaquin.
The answer to that question is one that Lara doesn't need to think about. She has been dreaming of a business for a long time. Actually, she and Rodolfo have the same dream business. And that is to be able to put up their own rice retailing business.
"My dream is to own a rice retail store with groceries," she answered.
Joaquin smiled. "Really? That's good. At least people really need rice. By the way, when do you want to start?”
Lara couldn't stop being surprised by that question from her husband.
"Are you serious?" she asked in a tone of surprise.
"Do I look like I’m joking?" Joaquin asked and answered him, laughing softly.
Hearing that, Lara's eyes widened quickly. “Really? Wait, what is your position at work and why does your salary seem to be so high?" she asked jokingly but curiosity is still there.
Even though she and Joaquin were already married, he did not tell her what his true position was in the company he was working for. She didn't ask about that anymore. What she paid more attention to be the love she had for him.
"I'm the VP of the Marketing Department," he said to her.
Lara's mouth literally fell open when she heard him.
"The truth is that I own this house as well as the house in Baguio where we went on our honeymoon," he continued as she remained silent and just stared at him.
"Really?" Lara asked in a tone that seemed to disbelieve.
If so, Joaquin really has the capacity to give her a large amount of money. Just like he did back then. The next day after the night something happened to them.
"Because you don't ask questions, that's why I don't tell stories," said her husband in an explanatory tone.
She just nodded.
"Speechless? This is not the reaction I expected from you," said Joaquin. The amusement is evident in his tone of voice.
"What kind of reaction do you expect from me?" she asked.
Her husband shrugged her shoulders before opening her mouth to speak.
"Well, somehow I expect you to react that you know, you are happy. That's the normal reaction, isn't it?" said Joaquin who chuckled.
She nodded. "You're right. But why didn't you tell me right away that you own that house in Baguio?" she asked him.
That's when Joaquin pinched the tip of her nose tenderly. "I'm sorry," he said to her.
Lara sighed and then passed out. "You are lucky because I like that house. Because if not I might sulk with you because it seems like you said something different to me before. Something that I just can't remember."
Joaquin laughed then took both of her hands and then placed them on the top of her head.
"I'm sorry," Joaquin said again.
"Okay," she replied.
Lara did not refuse when Joaquin began to deepen that simple kiss. Until her husband made her completely abandon her sanity. After a while, she didn't realize that they both had no coverings on their bodies.
"Mmmmmnnnn," Lara moaned as Joaquin traveled his hot mouth from her neck, down her shoulders, and lingered on her breasts.
"I love you, so much," her husband whispered to her then move to spread her legs.
Lara didn't answer. Instead, she responded with a stifled grunt. And that's because she felt Joaquin's hot mouth suddenly touch her stomach. And again, as he did to both of her breasts, he stayed there for a long time.
Lara's hands gently caressed Joaquin's head. A few moments later, her husband raised his face and returned to claim her lips for a more scorching kiss.
"Give me that favor, please?" Joaquin said to her when he opened his mouth for a moment.
"B-But what will happen to my father?" that was her real reason.
That was when she heard Joaquin clicks his tongue. "I will take care of him and Leandro while you start your business," he insisted then kissed her again. "That's fine with me. They are my family now.”
Lara couldn't make a decision at that moment because she wasn't in the right frame of mind. That's why she didn't answer and instead, she just cupped Joaquin's neck and then kissed him firmly on the lips.
"We'll talk about that later," she answered between successive breathing.
Lara saw a mischievous smile on Joaquin's lips. She didn't need any more words from him because she already understood what that smile meant.
What Joaquin did next was really unexpected. Because again he took both of her hands and then raised them to her head. And following that action her husband, tied her hands to position them on the headboard using his necktie.
"W-What are you doing?" she asked as she felt her chest beating faster.
"Force resignation," was Joaquin's meaningful answer then he lifted her to the headboard.
