464 [Scripted Event] [Moonfang Kingdom Conquest] 24/35: Storming Spirit! Zurut, the Thunderous Leopa

Illusion Attribute Magic was one of the rarest Attributes present in the Realm of Vida, very few tribes of demi-humans specialized on it, and even fewer humans themselves.
The average warrior would probably never fight someone wielding this attribute in their entire lives. It was normal to assume that not many had countermeasures against it, and even less were capable of detecting it with ease.
However, it was particularly known that beings such as Fairies, were capable of using Illusions. Well, Zurut did not know that of course, he was completely ignorant in most things.
The Illusion Attribute was often called a 'weak' attribute… but this was just because there were not any outstanding users in the Realm of Vida's history… however, this attribute was indeed extraordinarily strong if used by good and talented hands. If it were complemented by an attribute such as Light, that could manipulate the reflection of light and create even more vivid illusions.
Enough mastery and talent in this attribute could lead to the user being capable of materializing illusions and making them a tool for fighting or even to create more realistic illusions.
Zurut just fell on Ismena's little trap, she created an illusion screen right before his eyes while he was talking with Acelina, and created a false Acelina that spoke using the real one's voice.
The illusion was so outstandingly realistic that Zurut wasn't capable of detecting any flaws and ran towards it, cutting its throat and then celebrating, only to be attacked while his guard was down by the real Acelina, which was right behind him, to the other side of the ethereal illusion screen.
Zurut was deeply wounded and then sent flying through the air like a bullet, hitting the ground while vomiting blood. Acelina's ambushing attack was incredibly sharp and precise.
"You idiot! Just how many times have I told you to not get so confident on yourself, don't lower your guard!" shouted Geggoron's split soul from within Zurut's mind, using its divinity to quickly recover his wounds and filling him with new vitality.
"I am sorry, Geggoron-sama… But I have never fought against Illusions before!" shouted Zurut, frightened by the ability of the fairy girl, which was flying in the sky…
He wondered if that was really her…
"Take the fairy down! Quick!" shouted Geggoron, taking possession of Zurut's body and rushing through the ground at incredible speed, his Nightmarish Aura converged itself with Zurut's Lightning Aura, creating black lightning that clashed against the air and the ground, flattening the dozens of destroyed buildings all across the battlefield.
Flash!
He rushed towards Ismena who leisurely glancing at him with a surprised face was… then, she smiled.
"Hey, come here if you can really kill me~," she said.
"That bitch, why is she smiling?! I will take out that smug look out of your pretty face! Rampaging Kicking Storm!" shouted Zurut, releasing hundreds of kicks charged with his black lightning that created thousands of illusions of his feet, a storm of lightning fell upon Ismena… as she was crushed to death by it, blood covering Zurut's entire body.
"Hah! …Ah?!"
However, the pieces of flesh slowly dissipated into magic dust… however, the blood was deeply engraved on Zurut's body.
"What? An illusion again!"
"You idiot, the blood!" shouted Geggoron's split soul, alerting Zurut's of the blood splatted over his body, which has not become magic dust yet…!
"Ah…!"
BOOM!
The blood suddenly detonated! Zurut's body was torn, pieces of his flesh flying through the air.
Then, Acelina once again appeared from the 'background', raising her lance to strike him down.
"You're really a hopeless young kitten, aren't you?"
"Graaaawr!" roared Zurut, detecting her in time despite having pieces of his flesh torn apart and releasing a claw of black lightning, Acelina could not attack him and had to intercept the attack, releasing a shadowy wind by waving her arms.
Zap! Flash!
Both elements collided and exploded, Zurut's body had already recovered from his wounds thanks to Geggoron's split soul using its Divinity on him.
However, from the background, more illusions appeared, they were… dozens of Ismenas!
"Come on, can you find the real one between dozens of me~?" laughed the young fairy.
"The fairy! Kill her! Find the real one!" shouted Geggoron's split soul, bewildered, controlling Zurut's body.
"Wait for a second, boss! This is a trap!" shouted Zurut, trying to convince his impatient Geggoron's split soul.
However, his body moved on its own as it released kicking attacks and slashing claws filled with black thunder everywhere, colliding against Ismena's copies.
"You failed!"
"Not me!"
"Wrong!"
But as many as he made blow away into pieces and then turn into dust, the more appeared, all of them working together against Zurut and opening their floating grimoires, conjuring several spells at the same time!
"Grimoire Magic; Monsters Rampage!"
"Grimoire Magic; Flying Shark's Deadly Bite!"
"Grimoire Magic; Giant Mantis Scythe Slice!"
"Grimoire Magic; Armored Shellfish's Piercing Claws!"
"Grimoire Magic; Octopus Tentacle's Barrage!"
"Grimoire Magic; Furious Manticore's Onslaught!"
Giant monsters made out of magic emerged from the books, Flying Sharks, Giant Shellfish, Armored Octopuses, Manticores, Giant Mantises, and more!
All of them seemed semi-transparent and made out of different-colored magic energy, however, their blows feel for real, even if they came from illusions!
Zurut could not evade the sheer amount of attacks from all possible sides, even with his amazing speed, he cannot evade if there is not anywhere to escape to!
He flew through the air, destroying several of these illusions with his rampaging attacks, but he also received large amounts of damage that were being constantly recovered through Geggoron's split soul Divinity and its Nightmarish Aura.
"Gaaah! There are so many! And she keeps appearing and conjuring! Just, where is she?!" shouted Geggoron's split soul.
"Ohohohoho! I am here!" laughed Acelina, appearing from the insides of a sliced apart Ismena!
"What…? Just how?!"
"Devilish Piercing Rain! Draconic Breath of Darkness!" shouted Acelina, unleashing a series of piercing attacks with her spear alongside shaping her shadows into spears to add into the mix. Then, she opened her mouth, showing her purple tongue and her long fangs, spitting a blazing breath of darkness!
The attacks converged and directly hit the surprised Zurut.
Clash! Slash! Flash!
"Gggyaaaa!"
He felt his entire body being burnt, pierced, and even cursed by Acelina's attacks. And because they were charged with the 'Divinity Devouring' Skill effect, the even damaged Geggoron's split soul directly.
As Zurut struggled to recover in midair, Ismena and Acelina did not want to leave him any time to rest! Unlike the other girls, they wanted to finish him as fast as possible!
Ismena's Illusion Clones began to unleash spells after spells, falling over Zurut's entire body, meanwhile, Zurut tried to destroy some by releasing powerful blasts of dark lightning, however, from the 'corpses' of Ismena's Illusion Clones, Acelina's Illusions emerged, raising their sharp spears and unleashing techniques, while some others released breaths of blazing darkness.
"Gyaaaaaa! Stop, wait for a second…! Ugh! Ugaaah!"
The real Acelina appeared out of nowhere from within an Illusion Screen and used the sharp claws in her Dragonoid feet to kick Zurut's face with a strong technique engulfed in her shadow winds.
"Fall, little kitty!" she laughed.
Clash!
"Guuuaaaahhh!"
Boom!
Zurut fell over the ground, creating a crater that expanded its cracks like a spiderweb through the battlefield, his body was completely torn apart, his bones broken and his flesh mushed, his face was disfigured and his handsome appearance was no more. Acelina's last attack could be seen as nothing but nasty… fitting of her new devilish path.
Zurut glanced at Ismena's and Acelina's illusions appearing and flying towards him… his eyes could barely see them, he could barely breathe and his entire body was covered in wounds.
"I wasn't… fast enough…? Mother… I am… sorry…" he muttered.
"Silence, you scum! You have been nothing more than disappointment after disappointment for me!" shouted Geggoron's split soul.
"Shut up, I never liked you…" muttered Zurut.
"What? How dare you talk back to me? The one who gave you so much?! And why is that… isn't the brainwashing not working?!" shouted Geggoron.
"Perhaps that lady finally knocked me out of your delusions, boss," said Zurut.
"Aagh! This is not ending here! I will take them both with me! Even if you don't cooperate, I will just devour you!" shouted Geggoron's split soul, expanding its soul all over Zurut's and devouring it whole!
"Ungh…! Aaaaagghhh…! Mother… Will, I finally meet you again…?" wondered Zurut's, as his consciousness succumbed to an endless void.
Acelina and Ismena were on alert, they knew that Geggoron's vessels transform into monsters as they last struggle, and did not want to get caught in the middle of it and be pulverized in one blow.
Acelina carefully heard what Zurut was talking with Geggoron, she seemed a bit thoughtful.
"Aunt Acelina is something going on?" asked Ismena, with a curious expression.
"Ah… nothing, let's finish this off, Ismena-chan!" said Acelina, moving away from the thoughts of pity that she was experiencing over the unfortunate boy, who's backstory was briefly stated to her when Kireina was assigning the opponents for each pair of girls.
"Aunt Acelina, are you pitying the kid? But he insulted us and has been trying to kill us all this time…" muttered Ismena.
"No… don't worry, sometimes I wonder if things could be different if other circumstances were given to people" wondered Acelina, even remembering when she was caught by Kireina after the Athetosea war and made into her concubine. Many people experienced many tragedies, some worse than others.
After a tragedy such as the Athetosea Great War, Acelina and Ismena forcefully became citizens of a Kingdom made out of monsters and demi-humans who both of them never considered people.
They also became the wives of a mischievous and suspicious monster, Kireina. Whose they feared greatly at the beginning for her strength and dominant nature… but after knowing her better through living as her family and talking and interacting with them, they slowly comprehended a lot of things and saw Kireina's complex personality in a new light. They were welcomed into a warm family that always cared about them, and experienced more humanity from them than they had ever from humans themselves when they lived in Athetosea.
As Acelina grimaced such thoughts, comparing herself with Zurut, the prince emerged from within his crater, a dark lightning covered his entire body as he changed shapes and mutated into a monstrosity.
His playful and juvenile personality disappeared, only an eerie and disgusting fiend possessed him now.
His body mutated and became larger and taller, covered in dark armor. His arms and legs became thinner alongside his torso and his head. He did not resemble a grotesque tentacle monster like the previous possessions and mutations that she had seen before.
"Graaaaawwwwl!"
"This… He's quite different than the other grotesque monsters we saw the people possessed by Geggoron's split souls transform into…" muttered Ismena.
"You're right… They seem to vary greatly, perhaps depending on the strengths of its vessel, Zurut seems to be good at speed, so his transformation mirrors this with a sleek and slim form," analyzed Acelina, with a serious voice.
Both girls shrouded themselves in the illusions as they received the new Zurut with their attacks and Ismena's masterful use of Illusion Attribute Magic combined with her Light Attribute Magic.
Flash!
Like black lightning, Zurut's appeared in a split second with amazing speed, his body had increased in size exponentially, surpassing three meters now, he raised his dark claws and roared, releasing dark lightning all around, destroying dozens of illusions, while more and more appeared.
Ismena unleashed her spells against Zurut's using her dozens of illusions, showering the armored giant with slices, bites, and crushing attacks, its body began to decay as it couldn't properly regenerate now, each of Ismena's attacks was charged with 'Divinity Devouring' and they were over a dozen per minute!
From within the 'corpses' of Ismena's Illusion Clones, Acelina Illusion Clones emerged, raising their spears and spitting breaths of blazing darkness.
As Zurut's was showered in attacks, it roared in agony and rage, slashing and destroying the illusions while desperately trying to find the real bodies from within so many illusion screens that Ismena was setting everywhere.
"Beneath you, handsome!"
However, the real Acelina appeared from beneath it, raising her spear and piercing and slicing techniques over Zurut's feet, breaking them apart and then jumping through its arms to pierce its neck with a series of incredibly precise stabs.
Clash! Clash! Clash!
Zurut was being overwhelmed from all sides by Ismena and being dealt large damage by Acelina, on its rage, it expanded its dark lightning aura and a zapping storm rushed through the battlefield.
Zap! Flash!
Acelina and Ismena protected themselves with strong magic barriers and smaller versions of 'Aegis' that Kireina gave to them through tattoos imprinted in their hands.
Both of them quickly gathered together as Zurut's detected them, finally, amongst all the illusions destroyed by his rampaging aura, the real ones were at his grasp!
Using his amazing speed, he rushed towards them voraciously, opening its metallic jaw as his grotesque, tentacle-like tongue dripping with saliva.
"Graaaaaawwl!"
Acelina and Ismena defended themselves by releasing attacks, but Zurut's easily blocked them by covering his arms with Nightmarish Barriers!
"Gahahaha!" he laughed, grabbing on the two and crushing their bodies with its claws, afterward putting their crushed bodies inside of its mouth and devouring them!
Ismena and Acelina died!
Or did they…?
The deliciously sweet blood, crunchy bones, and tender flesh that filled Zurut's mouth with many delectable flavors began to shine, tightly stuck on his throat.
"Geggoron's split soul was too late to realize that this one was an Illusion as well!"
Acelina and Ismena appeared from behind Zurut's, through an illusion screen.
"It was a good idea to create a trap in case most illusions were destroyed," said Ismena.
"Indeed, he really fell into it, what a stupid beast. I suppose this tactic wouldn't work in an opponent with a calm head, it was too obvious that the clones were way weaker than us," said Acelina.
Geggoron's split soul glanced at the two through Zurut's.
"What…?! Weren't you… Huh?! Illusions again… But they all were-"
"Illusion Corpse Explosion!" shouted Ismena.
Suddenly, Zurut's throat began to inflate like a balloon.
"Buguuh… Bugeeeehh…! Buuhh… Buggaaaahh…!"
Like a balloon being filled with too much air, his throat exploded due to the flesh and blood of the Illusion Clones tightly adhering themselves inside of his throat!
"I created this spell after seeing Kireina-sama use her blood magic to manipulate the blood of her enemies and make them explode from the inside… it's not as similar, but it works as a nice bomb made out of my Illusion Clones! How do you like the taste of it, Geggoron!" shouted Ismena, revealing a determined look, she was no more the shy and timid girl, she was blossoming with strength and confidence in herself!
"Y-You…! You damned fairy…! Gggggaaaaaaaaahh!!!"
BOOM!
The corpses were specially charged with the Divinity Devouring Skill effect as well, Zurut's throat was blown into pieces and so did his head, flying like a ragdoll through the air, his neck began to release a large fountain of dark blood.
Geggoron's split soul was almost shattered by the explosion, which directly damaged its soul.
"I am…! Not going to die without making one of you come with meeee!" shouted Geggoron's split soul, harboring all of its pieces together and its Divinity into one charged attack, a giant scarlet eyeball appeared within his Divine Aura!
"I suppose it's in here where the devilish maiden makes her appearance? Ohohohoho!" laughed Acelina, appearing from behind Geggoron's without him even noticing!
She traveled through the Illusions Screens already settled up by the crafty Ismena.
"Aura! Diabolic Dragon Mistress Ultimate Torturing Punishment!" shouted Acelina, activating one of her ultimate techniques, which converged several techniques, spells, and skills together into one, coated in her aura and then released through incredibly fast attacks with her spear!
Flash! Flash! Flash!
Piercing burst of shadow wind and blazing darkness pierced Geggoron's Divinity, creating gigantic holes within it, Divinity Devouring once again was helping her damage even the pawns of Gods!
"Ggaaaaaaah! Impossible…! I can't… I can't… Ungh…! Unggyaaaaaaa!"
"You're done for, Geggoron!" laughed Acelina, charging in more attacks as Geggoron's split soul consciousness slowly joined Zurut's inside the endless void…
"How could… everything be so hopeless… against these wenches…!" muttered Geggoron.
His entire split soul then solidified, and broke into pieces of dark glass, falling over the ground alongside the beheaded corpse of the mutated Zurut's.
Clash!
Ismena and Acelina joined together as they sat over the last standing building in the almost flattened battlefield.
"Phew…" sighed Ismena, relaxing her shoulders.
"Ohoho… it was more intense than I imagined…" muttered Acelina.
"Indeed… but this feeling of accomplishment, I might get used to it…" said Ismena.
"Heh, you made me remember your mother, she always liked to accomplish new feats, that woman…"
"I like to think that she is watching me right now… though I don't know what she would think about me being a demi-human now…" said Ismena.
"What's wrong with it? We are even more beautiful and strong now! There's nothing wrong with it!" laughed Acelina, the two ladies then got hands into work and recollected Geggoron's split soul divinity pieces.
