Crying doe

"Roxy I need you to come with me." The green eyed angel who had taken Serena into her room for showing all the soft toys that Darius had brought her, accompanied by the paintings that she was making for the upcoming exhibition got startled when not even ten minutes passed and her bestfriend seemed to be holding her hand tightly while dragging her out.

"Anna just wait a second-"

"No! we need to buy grocery, so come with me."

Serena felt something was off the moment she entered the apartment, perhaps an intuition sprouting worries in her heart and the moment her phone blasted a warning beep her doubts were confirmed.

Not only Roxanne was dragged out of her room as soon as she collected her gifts from both Darius and Serena but was also taken out of the apartment, getting into the elevator she was certain that things were not as simple as her friend made it look like.

"Is there something wrong?" Serena kept quite for a moment before looking into the forest irises with a seriousness never seen before.

"Has someone entered our home when I was out?"

Roxanne earlier was in a dilemma whether to inform Serena about the oncoming of Melissa but looking at how she was reacting, as if expecting a sincere and truthful reply, the beauty complied.

"It was Melissa and then it was Darius. The day she came was the same day daddy took me to his villa and till yesterday I was there only, if in my absence someone had entered...they simply can't, the guards stationed outside would have informed me and moreover our surveillance camera would have caught them and send us a notification on our phone. What has happened Anna?"

Serena was quiet for sometime before whispering words of dread.

"Somebody has planted a spy camera in your bedroom." The woman felt like vomiting with how atrocious she felt, in truth, her expensive diamond pendant was a micro technological advancement that detected these types of hidden bots and notified by sending a warning beep on her phone, it also cooled up the necklace considerably in case the mobile device was not near.

She had earlier felt a tingling sensation in their conjoined bathroom thus came to Roxanne's room for confirming. Looking at the pale complexion of the shivering doe it was already too much to say as the innocent girl looked like she would burst in tears any moment with the fear and the chilling sensation of someone watching her continuously crawled up her spine making her form tremble uncontrollably thus the partial information was kept hidden.

The home she felt utmost safe in was the very place that her privacy was not respected and her innocence was getting exposed to and the moment Roxanne felt hot tears cascading down her cheek was the very second her heart burned in anger towards the person that tainted her heaven that she was proud of.

The possibility that it was Melissa made her even more bitter. This time no matter who it was, she would never forgive them.

Earlier Roxanne and Serena had went to police department and informed the cops about the intrusion of privacy. After carrying out a small procedure and taking their statements about the report, the cops had assured them that they would take care of the matter.

Yet even though the complaint had been filed hassle free, the nerve breaking experience made the doe hazy as if there was a vortex absorbing all her energy and happiness thus even when the little girl travelled all the way to the farm house that she had bought after the success of her first exhibition, she still had remained silent. Not even the cozy home of her dreams that she gave her heart and soul to make and now was almost complete did anything to make her feel better.

"I need to be alone for sometime, I have messaged Darius from your phone and he is going you pick you up in five minutes." The girl was laying on the couch with her friend swiping Instagram to distract herself.

"Anna......I just want to sleep."

This moment brought a odd feeling of nostalgia, wasn't this the same scenario that Roxanne was in when Elijah took her to his villa after the death of her mother. She remembered sleeping alot and hoping to not wake up again. Serena who had been a spectatre in the entire journey felt her heart breaking yet she was determined in her goal.

"I don't want to hear such excuses, haven't I bought you a new lingere..that pale purple one?you brought it here with other things right? And stop worrying silly... you came back just yesterday right....nothing happened, and in future too, nothing bad is going to transpire, just trust me."

Wobbling lips and tear filled green eyes stared into the grey ones of the taller girl as Roxanne rushed to Serena hugging her.

"Then I trust you." The small girl was up in new spirits and proceeded to wipe her tears right when the doorbell rang.

'Things will be alright' Roxanne got over that mantra over and over again in her head before jumping off the couch to open the door.

Darius even though had no knowledge of the situation could sense something was not yet right. Shifting houses on such short notice was not normal but when the door opened he smiled brightly before pulling his baby close into his clutches as if to bury her soul in his. Her puffy, red rimmed eyes were proof enough that she had cried but looking at how bravely she put up a sunflower like grin on her face Darius did not had in him to refute her.

"Daddy!" Roxanne giggled holding his palm and dragging the federal judge inside.

"You and Anna, today I am going to cook both of you my special dinner."
