Chapter 28

"Boss, someone followed in the back of the car, and if I'm not mistaken it's Smael."

I raised my face because of my deep thought because of what happened to Elisa and me earlier, I don’t know what pushed me to try to kiss her.  And I was pissed because she was the only one who refused me, I wanted to be angry but I couldn't.

"Make sure it's him."  None of my answer and I turned my attention back to the outside of the window.

I knew Smael was here so I had to move Elisa somewhere, so just now I was going to take her somewhere else.  I know Smael, it will move immediately because it doesn't waste time.

"Boss, Smael has been confirmed."

I looked away and felt angry.

"Shit! How did he follow us!?"  I spoke loudly to Alex as he was driving and someone was talking to the headset he was wearing.

"I also don't know boss, we made sure no one saw or followed us. But I didn't expect it."  Alex's explanatory answer.

"Hurry up! He shouldn't catch up with us! What are you doing you're not organizing your work!"  I was stunned and wondered how Smael had followed us.

I looked at Elisa and stared at her and I looked down at her almost visible chest because it was so low down.  Something hit my eye with a small object, I took it and looked at it carefully.

"Fuck you* Smael!"  I was pissed to find out what that was, a tracking device.  So he knew we were followed because of it.

I opened the window and threw it away, I looked at Elisa with questioning eyes and maybe there was fear in her eyes.

"Tell me did you meet Smael?"  The voice stopped as I asked her.

She stared at me and then shook her head.  I gripped her arm tightly and looked at her face as it closed.

"Have you met Smael!?"  I shouted a question because I wanted to show that I was angry, but every time I saw her face that was scared of me I couldn’t help but vent my anger.

She nodded and there was a look of nervousness on her face, I raised one hand and I intended to slap her.  But I was so weak and pissed that I punched the side of the car.

Fuck!  Fuck!

I don’t understand what I think and I want to heap on others the anger I feel.

I closed my eyes and waited for Javier's hand to land on my cheek, but nothing happened.  I just heard him swear softly as he punched the side of the car.

I don't know what he took from my dress and since I heard Smael's name from Javier, Smael likely put that thing on me without my knowledge.

I suddenly looked behind me as well as Javier, I could see the light on the road due to the explosion of the car.  Suddenly there was an attack of nervousness in my chest.

Smael!

My mind screamed as my eyes focused on the back.

"Hurry up! Useless ones!"

I looked at Javier furiously and pulled out a gun from his side.  I looked back again and was shocked to see that a car had slipped out of the burning car and I could see the faces of those insides.

"Smael," I said softly and Javier looked at me.  He pulled his gun out the window and fired at Smael’s car as it followed us.

"You're going to chase your death, Smael."

I was shocked because Javier said, no.  He has nothing to do with Smael, we need to be together.

"Javier, stop this first. Take me back to Smael, you don't have to go this far and whatever the problem was then it can be fixed. Please take me back for our son."

"As long as you're with me, you're with me, Elisa."

I was stunned by what he said and I didn’t know what to tell him.  I was held to the side because we almost collided.

By the time the car stopped and Javier pulled me out, the cold air had greeted us.  It was only then that I noticed that there was water here or more correctly say it was a vast ocean.

"Javier, I don't want to. Where are you taking me? Smael!"  I shouted because Javier was pulling me to board the waiting motorboat.

"Block Smael, so he can't follow. Randy, it's up to you."  The language is Javier.

I looked at Smael's car after I got in, it was already down.  Its engine started and started to run fast, I was almost cold because of the strength of the wind and also because of what I was wearing.

"There we are Elisa, I will take the child you are carrying."

I was stunned and looked at Javier, I was shaken.

"N-No, you're going crazy Javier. There are many more women, why me?"  I spoke because I couldn’t believe what he said.

"You're right I'm going crazy and I'll go crazy when Smael gets you to me. Do you understand?"  It spoke with a serious face.

"N-No, Smael is coming to take me to you,"  I answer him.

"He can't get here anymore."  He answered me.

"That's not true,"  I answered and looked back at the place where we had earlier arrived.

"He can't get here anymore! Because he's going to die!"

I was stunned and slowly came face to face with him because it was as if his personality had collapsed now.  He's going crazy.

"I don't believe you, Smael promised me."  Stop the tears I said.

"Yeah! Believe me now."  He said with a smile as he toyed with the gun in his hand.

I felt scared and thought of Smael because maybe that’s what would happen to Smael.  I stared at the dark water, but I was startled to hear a sound. I fixed myself when I saw the light in the distance.

Smael!
