Straight from hell

Ashlyn's POV

I was done suffering from Lucifer's injustice. For many hours I was there licking the floor and when I was finally done my stomach turned. What I did, did not go down well with it. If I should throw up here, I'd have to lick back my vomit, and that I would not be able to do.

Vino picked me up from the ground. "Good job." He said in sarcasm.

I could not reply to him as he dragged me down to the dungeon.

It was darker than the rest of the house and in a sorta way creepy.

Indeed it was and it was half-filled with prisoners. Prisoners from the battle I believe.

Not even a ray of light could seep through this darkness.

Vino threw me into one of the cells and locked it up and went away.

I tried to accustom my eyes to my surroundings but it was quite difficult. I could see the bars of each cell but not the people in it. I could hear their heartbeats, each at a different pulse, at a different rate but I could not see their faces.

Anxiety and fear of tomorrow lingered in their minds. They've all lost hope for freedom and so did I.

Finna wonder if I was in any way better than them and I was guessing I was. I might hate the torture and afflictions of the night. I might hate the pain and torments inflicted on me but I could still see the sun. I could still gaze at its brightness and how it warms my skin. I wore a daylight ring so I could not possibly get burnt to death.

They on the other hand were locked away. Kept in darkness. Never to see the daylight and I felt sorry for them but still, darkness was a thing to embrace. Sunlight had its perks of indulgence but darkness had an alluring and phenomenal sensation. That was why most things were created at night. Both good and evil. Even the best ideas were mostly formed at night and I was sure that was how Lucifer comes up with wicked ways to bring me pain.

Vino returned with a piece of paper and threw it into my cell with a feather.

"I believe you know what to do." He said and walked away.

He did not even wait for me to ask him anything. The arrogant messenger! I picked up the piece of paper and stared at it as I also reached for the feather.

I could not even see anything to slice my wrist with neither did he bring me a cup to pour my blood.

What was I saying? I could not even see what to write in this darkness!

I sat on the ground devastated and defeated. My head hung down in dismay. Just then I heard footsteps approaching and a ray of light spreading and heading toward my direction.

The cell clinked as it got opened.

"Get up!" The familiar voice resounded in my ears as he barked at me.

I scrambled to my feet and looked up to see Lucifer standing before me with a lit torch.

"Have you served your punishment?" He demanded. He did not wait for me to speak as he blasted me. "How dare you sit comfortably without attending to the task I gave to you?" His voice sounded so brutal and rigged with viciousness.

"I," I began with quivering lips.

"Turn around." He ordered shutting me up before I could continue.

I stared at him in horror. I was perplexed. I wondered what I had done wrong again.

Obediently I turned around.

"Lean on the wall." He commanded and that was when I knew what he came to do.

"What have I done wrong?" I dared to ask in my panicked voice.

He bent my back over and flung up my dress. Pushing aside my undergarments, I closed my eyes bracing myself for the painful thrust. He was not finna try seducing me, he was finna be taking what he wants.

I expected him to thrust into me but instead, I felt a piercing as he shoved something into my anus. I gasped. He was using the anal plug on me again and he pulled me up roughly and dumped an icebag in between my breasts. Wide enough to reach my nipples and I cringed at the sudden feel of coldness.

"Sit." He commanded again and I sat down on the ground and I almost lost my mind. I could feel the exquisite pain of the anal plug and the icebag in my bosom was no better.

It was an added aphrodisiac to what I was feeling, I must confess.

"Start writing." He ordered.

"I do not have anything to slit my wrist with." I managed to say in a low, trembling voice hoarse from sparks of sensations forming inside of me.

He furrowed his brow. "You cannot even bite yourself?" He did not ask it out of pity but of scorn. "Here," he said coming closer to me. He lifted my hand and from the light that illuminated his face, I saw his wolf's golden eyes before I knew it, Lucifer slit my wrist and I withdrew my hand in pain.

I looked back to see what he used and I realized he had let his wolf take over and had used his claw.

I stared at my wrist as my blood dripped.

"Enough blood to begin." He said sarcastically.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked him with trembling lips. My heart was in my throat.

He lowered himself as he held a handful of my hair in a painful grasp as he looked into my eyes.

"You invade territories you're not supposed to." He said to me and I stared at him in confusion.

"I did not choose to be your mate. If this is how much you loathe me, should you not have rejected me than treating me this way?" I said to him and the tears dropped. I could not hold them back any longer and I knew with someone like Lucifer, he would be unmoved by tears.

He stared at me deep into my eyes like he was searching for something. Something to try and connect with and when it seems like he was not finding any, he pushed my head away without compassion or remorse.

"Write those words before your blood dries out and wipe off those tears from your eyes. It makes you look pathetic." He said and that struck a cord of familiarity.

A string of awareness rang in my head that he had said the same word my father said to me almost a month ago and all I could do was stare at him and his retreating figure. I'll always be a statue of ridicule to him and everyone else. Always and I could do nothing about it. I could not become the wild vampire they all wanted me to be. I was tamed and they all wanted me untamed and for a cursed reason, I was not. I looked down trying not to break down into an uncontrollable session of tears.

Now I was beginning to understand that I was cursed. Cursed at childbirth by nature. As if suffering the earth curse of being a vampire was not enough, I was still cursed not to behave like one and it was ruining my life for I could not defend myself from my enemies. I could not save myself from my oppressors. I was bound to let them confine me in my little world of unhappiness and watch them make me suffer. Watched them mock me and there was nothing I could do about it.

"Vino," I heard Lucifer say as he walked out of my cell and the clink-clank made me know he was locking me in. "Watch her closer and make sure she does not touch herself." He ordered.

"Yes, sir," Vino said with an air of pride for the job given to him.

If I had once called Lucifer a devil back then for what he did, then I was wrong. He was an angel compared to what he has made me face today. What insufferable things I've had to do. Today made me realize very much that his name befitted him a lot but he needed something new. He should be called the Devil. Straight from hell.
