Lucifer's POV

Kill, Stealth, Ripper, and Rage were already in the study room when I walked in with Ashlyn.

"Aye, why does she look like a horse vomited on her this morning?" Rage asked smirking.

"Lucifer engaged her in one of his numerous punishments." Kill said and they erupted into laughter except for Ripper.

"I wonder how you come up with those punishments Helldog. It's like you have a big book of torture in your head." Stealth said and the trios laughed again and I smirked.

Ashlyn did not have a pleasing look on her face but she kept quiet.

"You're hurt," Ripper said to her noticing her wrist. The wrist I had personally cut the.

Ash shook her head. "I'm fine." She said.

"You should see the pack doctor," Ripper suggested.

I was beginning to get angry. His tenderness towards her was suffocating me. Since she stepped into the house, he had been exceptionally friendly to her and it irritated my senses making me think he had a thing for her.

"It's okay Ripper. It's nothing to worry about." She said to him.

"But you should," he replied stubbornly.

"The lady said she's fine Ripper, let her be, or do you have the thoughts of sharing your alpha's mistress?" I asked him with a brittle smile trying not to make it obvious his compassion was getting into me.

"Never will such betrayal cross my mind." He said to me.

"Good," I said to him. Neither of them knew she was my mate and I was not ready to tell anyone. To them, she was just another bounty brought in by the alpha to fulfill his needs. "Very well then, shall we begin?" I asked them.

They nodded.

"Tomorrow we shall take Dunbar unawares and seize our land from their hands. They shall learn to always seek the face of we the superiors before inhabiting our lands." I said to them and they paid rapt attention.

"I've made due arrangements for a large truck to carry gold to Dunbar along with Ashlyn," I said and they stared at me in surprise.

"You want to gift the warlord king, a whole truck of gold?" Rage asked.

"Would that not be almost all of our net worth?" Ripper asked and I shook my head.

"Do not undermine the Nightwing pack Ripper and Rage, the warlords will not be getting the gold," I said to them.

"What's concocting in that head of yours Lucifer?" Stealth asked bright-eyed like he could not wait to have a full taste of my plan.

"Beneath those golds will be Lycans hidden from the eyes of the warlords and their prying hands," I said looking at them one after the other, even Ashlyn paid rapt attention to me.

"And when Ashlyn shall go in with her carriage, the truck will follow too and that's how we'd get into Dunbar without raising an awareness to the warlords," I said.

"Once again, a brilliant plan Helldog," Stealth said.

"How big is this truck to contain us?" Kill asked.

I smirked. "Big enough. You'll see." I said.

"I cannot wait much longer to tear those warlords into shreds bit by bit and perhaps even have a sip of their blood too." Rage said in an unexplainable excitement and Ashlyn weirdly stared at him.

I almost chuckled. She must be thinking she was right to say the Lycans were vulgar barbarians and looking at it from this angle, maybe she was right.

"Is that all?" Ashlyn's voice pierced through my thoughts.

"What?" I asked her.

"Can I go now if you're done with addressing your plan?" She asked.

"Yes," I said roughly looking away from her. "Leave," I said.

"Thank you." She said and walked away.

"She's going to be a tough one," Stealth said.

"Ashlyn?" I asked and he nodded. I laughed. "No way. She's too fragile to be anything like that." I said.

"The fragile ones are the stubborn ones," Ripper said and I agreed with the fact that Ashlyn was sometimes stubborn but I always put her in her place.

"And they also become tough in the end," Stealth said to me and I looked at the door where Ashlyn had just walked out. I shook my head. Not Ashlyn Ambrosia.

Ashlyn's POV

I sighed in relief when I finally got a wash, got into a clean dress, and laid flat on the bed. I had gotten rid of the anal plug and the icebag that had become liquidized and I was finally relieved. With all my suffering, I was glad that I still could get a room all to myself. I could still lie down on a soft bed than the hard ground.

I only hoped that whatever was pushing Lucifer into torturing me more than before should not push him into taking this little privacy I had all to myself. In this little abode, I could come and hide and cry out my aching heart.

Just then Lucifer walked into the room and I sighed as I got to a sitting position.

"Did I commit an offense?" I asked him.

"No," he said abruptly. "I came to inform you to be ready to act on your role as the Lady of France." He said to me.

I stood up. "I do know what to do but your plan has a flaw," I said to him honestly.

"What?" He stared at me.

"Fine, you'll get into Dunbar through your little trick but how do you carry out your devious plans if the golds are carried to the treasury and you're exposed or you're locked in the treasury with no way out?" I asked him and he furrowed his brows as he stared at me with a scowl on his face.

"I did not want to defile you by saying this in the presence of your comrades and I feel stupid for pointing out your flaws to you. I should have let you carry out your plan and then you get caught by the warlords and imprisoned." I said to him and free of you forever, I added mentally to myself.

"I'm invisible Ashlyn Ambrosia. I'm Lucifer Saunron the Helldog, I cannot be captured." He boasted.

I rolled my eyes. "If you don't want to be captured then find a remedy to the loopholes in your plan," I said to him.

He smirked. "I have just the perfect idea for that and I must commend you for putting your head to great work. You're not so dimwitted." He said.

I forced the urge to roll my eyes. "If only I could put my head to great use on how to escape these walls. Escape you." I said to him.

He smirked as he bridged the gap between us.

"You cannot escape from me, Ashlyn Ambrosia. I've claimed you as my mistress. My slave. My prisoner," he said and as each word dropped from his mouth, he placed his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him in a rough manner and I heaved as I swallowed staring into his eyes.

"Mine." He said in a low growl before crushing his lips on mine in a fierce kiss that did not salvage my soul but made my wanton of a body lean into him for more.
