Chap 26: The Art of wooing your Love - Part3

It was around a month, Aiden had come to this University, and he was having the time of his life. He had got adjusted to his course, and nobody bothered him for anything. The best thing that happened to him here was his roommate.

Aiden had found a good friend in Noah. He was charming, caring and always made him feel comfortable. Aiden liked Noah's company and looked forward to spending time with him. Though he dared not admit it, he had grown to have a soft spot for Noah, but he was scared to hope for too much in fear of losing it. For now, he was content with whatever they had.

Meanwhile, Noah was taking a shower, thinking about his next plan of action. He and Aiden had gotten pretty close, and now he wanted more.

When he moved to take the shampoo, he saw that it was empty. Suddenly he had a brilliant idea. He took the towel, wrapped it around his waist, and slowly opened the bathroom door. It's time to show your charm, Noah.

Aiden's laptop was open, but he seemed lost in thoughts. What is he thinking?

" Aiden...!" Noah called out softly, but Aiden didn't respond.

" Aiden...!!! He tried again louder this time.

Aiden suddenly turned around and saw Noah standing at the bathroom door shirtless and only in a towel.

Aiden's breath hitched, and his eyes almost popped out. He stared at Noah's compact frame, which was solid, well-proportioned, and dripping with water. His fingers twitched, and he had a sudden urge to touch and caress the toned muscles on his chest.

Noah was pleased with what he saw. Aiden's certainly affected. He didn't dare interrupt Aiden, who was staring at his body with wide eyes; rather, he enjoyed it. That's what he wanted.

When Aiden realized what he was doing, he looked down in shame and ran his hand over his forehead. He was sweating profusely even though the air conditioning was on. Oh God!!! What the heck just happened? He had seen his fair share of attractive men but never experienced such a response for anyone.

His wild thoughts were interrupted by Noah. " Can you pass me the shampoo? It's on the top shelf."

" Huh??!! Aiden asked, confused as he had not heard his words; instead, he was busy fantasizing about his body.

" Shampoo... It's on the top shelf," Noah repeated, trying to hide his smile.

" O-Ohhh... S-Shampoo..." Aiden said, looking flustered. He hurried towards Noah's shelf and saw the shampoo kept on the top shelf, and to his utter dismay, he was unable to reach it.

While Aiden was getting nervous by the second, Noah was highly pleased that he had kept the shampoo on the top shelf. This was a chance he couldn't miss. He slowly approached Aiden to catch him off-guard.

Aiden continuously jumped as Noah put his hands on him and grabbed hold of the bottle.

Aiden froze as if an electric shock surged through him, and his heartbeat accelerated when he felt Noah's breath on his ear. He was startled when a drop of water from Noah's hair fell on his face.

" Oh... Sorry for that," Noah said in a husky voice. Aiden blushed and looked down as he felt a tingling sensation all over his body for standing so close to Noah. What was wrong with him? Why is he getting so worked up?

Noah was very excited by Aiden's reaction. Aiden looked so sexy, all shy and flushed, that he wanted to hug and kiss him. Before doing something, he regretted he rushed inside his bathroom and closed the door. He took off the towel and got under the shower to calm down his nerves. He was literally bouncing around in joy as Aiden's face flashed in front of his eyes. Aiden shouldn't have been affected by seeing Noah shirtless if he was straight. Isn't it? Does this mean Aiden is also gay?

Aiden wouldn't have reacted in such a way if he didn't have feelings for Noah, even if he were gay. Does this mean Aiden has feelings towards him? Noah had seen his friends shirtless many times but never had he felt any emotions towards them, but if he saw Aiden like that, he can't even imagine what he would do.

Was he overthinking? Aghhh...!!! Everything was so confusing, and it was frustrating to be unsure. He had to make a move soon.

After getting dressed, he approached Aiden, who still seemed reluctant to look at Noah. " Will you come out with me to buy a gift?"

" G-Gift?" Aiden stuttered.

" Yes. It's my parent's anniversary tomorrow."

" Oh..."

" So...?"

" I-I can't help you with that."

" No problem. You just being there is enough," Noah said casually.

" Huh..!?" Aiden said, confused.

" I-I mean, I don't want to go alone."

Exactly, at that moment, someone knocked on the door. Noah walked to the door to see who was disturbing him on the weekend. He opened the door and scowled at his friends Jay and Rob.

" What a great welcome," Rob said sarcastically.

" What are you guys doing here?" Noah sneered.

Jay pushed him aside and entered in. " Hey Aiden, how are you?"

" Good. You?"

" I am fine, dude," Jay replied cheerfully. " How's your new roommate?"

" Better than the old one, " Noah replied for Aiden.

Jay scoffed while Rob greeted Aiden.

" Tell me now, why are you here?" Noah asked again.

" You asked us to come," Jay said.

" When did I?"

" You had asked us to help you buy a gift for your parents around two months ago," Rob said.

" Excellent memory you have," Noah said sarcastically.

" Not excellent memory, we are amazing friends," Rob said proudly.

" Don't be so proud of yourself," Jay remarked. " You had forgotten about it, and I remembered it because I had saved the date in my calendar."

" That's great," Noah sneered.

" Am I imagining it, or does he look irritated seeing us?" Jay whispered to Rob.

" He looks thoroughly pissed," Rob said and glanced at Noah, who was looking at Aiden from the corner of his eye. " I think I know why."

" Were you planning to go with Aiden?" Rob asked Noah softly.

" Yes."

"Oh!!"

" This is not fair, dude. You can't ignore your friends once you have a boyfriend, " Jay said dramatically.

" Tone down," Noah whisper yelled.

" You don't have to worry when your amazing friends are here. We have solutions for everything," Rob said.

He faced Aiden, sitting awkwardly on his seat, feeling out of place. " So you are coming with us, right?"

Aiden was shocked at the sudden question." W-Where?"

" To buy the gift. "

" But why do you need me when you two are going?" Aiden asked.

" The more, the merrier. Come on. It's a weekend; we can all have a good time."

Aiden had never gone out with so many people before, so he thought he'd try it out. " Okay."

Rob smiled at Aiden and glanced at Noah, raising his eyebrow. Noah shook his head and grinned at his friend.

At the mall, Noah and his friends were racking their brains, but they couldn't seem to understand what gift to buy. "Why don't you buy couple watches then?" Jay suggested.

" I gave it to them for their last anniversary."

" Have you given them every gift on earth?" Rob asked, annoyed.

Aiden felt bad he could not help and looked around the mall to find something interesting. Outside he saw a group of people crowded at a place where a contest was going on. He was intrigued and went to check it.

After a few minutes, Noah noticed Aiden's absence. " Where's Aiden?"

Noah and his friends forgot about the gift and started looking for Aiden.

" He's there," Jay saw Aiden among the group and people and informed his friends. " I think he has participated in some sort of contest. Should we give it a try too?"

" It's not your cup of tea, bud. It's a puzzle competition," Noah stated.

" As if you can?" Jay seethed.

" I can't, and I know it; that's why I am only watching."

" Let's see if Aiden gets a prize," Rob said.

" I am sure he will," Noah said confidently.

After a few minutes, the host announced that Aiden had gotten the second prize and handed him an envelope.

Aiden felt awkward to be the center of attention, so he hurriedly took his prize and walked towards Noah and his friends.

" Congrats, Dude," Jay said smiling. " But sadly, you missed the first prize, a freaking 25000 dollars."

" Were the questions tough?" Rob asked.

" No, all the questions were pretty easy."

" Then why didn't you get first?"

" Because I was aiming for the second prize," Aiden said and handed the envelope to Noah.

" Why are you giving it to me?" Noah asked, puzzled.

" I-It will be more useful to you," Aiden said shyly. " I-I need to use the washroom," he said and dashed away, leaving Noah and his friends looking confused.

Noah opened the envelope and saw a couple's ticket for a week on a cruise. He was lost for words and felt a warm feeling in his heart. How could he not love Aiden? Aiden was considerate and cared for Noah unconditionally, so how could he stay away from this beautiful person?

" Gosh!!! Your boyfriend's awesome," Rob said. " He sacrificed 25k dollars to get a gift for your parents."

" I think I love him," Jay said without thinking.

" What?" Noah barked at him.

" Chill, dude, not as a lover," Jay said, exasperated. " I know he's yours," he added to appease his friend.

" Yes, he's mine."
