Just then, she remembered Ye Lingzhi. Should she make her come as well?

Yan Qingsi returned to the hotel and continued to shoot the movie. After the incident last time, everyone on set treated Yan Qingsi extra genially. Even the director had seemingly forgotten about the humiliation from before and spoke to Yan Qingsi with warmth and kindness.
Just one more day and the shoot would be over. The director revealed that the crew wanted all the actors and actresses to have dinner together and sing karaoke afterward. Yan Qingsi was no exception.
After the meal, Yan Qingsi wanted to leave. Despite that, the director and her fellow actors clung onto her, not letting her leave. They all mentioned that this was a rare opportunity where the entire crew could go out and have fun together. After a day of fun, they would be able to finish shooting the last scenes in their best conditions.
There was no way for her to escape, so she might as well sit down.
In the private KTV room, Yan Qingsi did not take even a sip of alcohol. Even when it came to food, she was extremely cautious of what she put in her mouth. After being schemed against when shooting Beauty’s Rival in Palace, Yan Qingsi was particularly careful when attending these events.
The director tried to persuade her but seeing his efforts go in vain, he gave up and stopped pestering her.
Ji Mianmian fetched Yan Qingsi a bottle of water from outside. Seeing that the seal had not been broken, Yan Qingsi thought it should be safe, so she took a few sips at it.
About ten minutes later, Yan Qingsi felt a little dizzy. Her chest was tight and it was difficult to breathe. Thus, she headed to the washroom. Ji Mianmian waited for her outside.
After a while, Ji Mianmian’s phone rang.
When she saw that it was Ye Shaoguang, she scoffed and declined the call.
Immediately after, Ye Shaoguang called again. Answering the phone, Ji Mianmian recalled the threat he made and instantly grumbled. “What do you want? I don’t have time to…”
“Where are you guys now?” Ye Shaoguang’s voice sounded as cold as ice.
Ji Mianmian pouted. “It’s none of your business.”
Ye Shaoguang’s voice sounded awfully sinister. “I’m asking you, where are you two?”
“What… What’s going on?”
“Ji Mianmian, where the hell are you and Yan Qingsi right now?”
Sensing his odd tone, Ji Mianmian finally revealed. “We… We’re at Golden Delight KTV. What… is going on?”
“Are you with Yan Qingsi?”
“Yeah!”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course I’m sure. Big Sis Qingsi went into the washroom. I’m waiting for her outside.”
“How long has she been inside?”
“It’s been quite a while. Hey, are you a pervert? Why are you asking such questions? You…” As she said that, she got an ominous feeling— something was off.
Ye Shaoguang shouted hastily. “Ji Mianmian, go in there this instance! Is she still inside?”
