Sitting on the bed, Yan Qingsi opened her palm. The half ginkgo leaf in her palm gave off a dim glow under the light.

Yan Qingsi went outside, but she did not know where to go, nor what to do. She just knew that she could not be alone.
Yan Qingsi walked to the elevator and waited for the elevator to arrive. Eventually, the doors opened, and out came Song Qingyan.
They were both flabbergasted when they saw each other.
Song Qingyan was a person that paid great attention to detail. He noticed Yan Qingsi being out of sorts and asked, “You… what happened? You don’t seem so well?”
Yan Qingsi did not answer. She looked at the phone in Song Qingyan’s hand and asked, “Can you lend me your phone? My phone… is gone…”
Song Qingyan unlocked his phone and passed it to her. Yan Qingsi thanked him and took the phone.
She called Ji Mianmian, but it did not go through. She then called Lil’ Xu, telling him that she was already back in the hotel and not to worry.
Then, Yan Qingsi said, “Lil’ Xu, head to the KTV and search for my phone. Try to see if you can find it. If you can’t find it, then get me a new one.”
Ending the call, Yan Qingsi lifted her head and saw Song Qingyan’s gentle gaze. She just realized that Song Qingyan’s eyes were very peaceful and clear. Those eyes did not belong to someone his age.

Song Qingyan’s features were unlike other guys she saw around her who were abnormally good looking. Instead, he was handsome with a hint of apathy, as though he had no care for anyone or anything around him.
