The shadow of a slender figure with a gloomy aura, narrow eyes, long eyelashes, a noble nose, and thin stern lips was cast across his face. Yue Tingfeng’s features were actually more refined compared to that of Ye Shaoguang. It was due to his temper that people often overlooked his appearance.
Helan Xiuse caught sight of Yue Tingfeng while she was struggling. Like a drowning man clutching at straw, she screamed at the top of her lungs. “Brother Tingfeng, help… help… save me quick…”
Yue Tingfeng was unmoving. His sleek fingers held onto the cigarette and flicked the ashes off, as he puffed out a smoke ring. Standing leisurely, he showed no intention to save her.
Despair crept onto Helan Xiuse’s face. “Brother Tingfeng, I’m Xiuse… they want to take me away. Please help me quick…”
Yue Tingfeng sneered, as though he was watching some comedy.
Helan Fangnian arrived just in time. He stopped the car and rushed over to chase the goons away. Helan Xiuse then rushed to his embrace.
Helan Fangnian gripped his fists tightly, then looked at Yue Tingfeng with disappointment. “Even if that was a random stranger and not my sister, you should have at least extended a helping hand. Yue Tingfeng, you’re too heartless.”
Yue Tingfeng’s car arrived, and the driver stepped out to open the door. “Young Master Yue, please get in the car.”
Yue Tingfeng paused a moment as he was getting in the car and said, “Oh, right. Next time when you put on a show, find someone with better acting skills. It’s important to be passionate.”
