Xia Anlan lightly flicked Yan Qingsi’s forehead. “Little girl, why so many questions?”

After she said that, Yan Qingsi suddenly felt she had behaved rather impudently toward Xia Anlan as she even directly called out the president’s great name.

Mrs. You paused her steps when she heard Xia Anlan’s laughter before even seeing him.
She soon saw Yan Qingsi intimately holding Xia Anlan’s arm while making gestures with her other hand, unable to discern their conversation.
Xia Anlan had a broad smile on his face unlike his normal indifferent expression while handling others or the usual pleasantries exchange when waiting on guests. On the contrary, he was laughing heartily, that same heartily laughter which she had not heard for forty years since Little Ai’s death.
Yan Qingsi was pestering Xia Anlan into making time to bring her along for golf.
The smile on her face faded slightly when she looked up and saw Mrs. You. She released Xia Anlan’s arm before greeting formally, “Mrs. You.”
Mrs. You quickly replied with a smile, “Brother Lan and Qingsi, both of you are back. You must be tired after a busy day. I have already instructed for your rooms to be prepared. Both of you should take a rest first while I prepare dinner. How does dinner at around six sounds?”
Xia Anlan said indifferently, “Sorry to trouble you.”
Yan Qingsi responded, “Thank you.”
Xia Anlan rubbed Yan Qingsi bangs. “Go up and rest first. Your personal necessities will be sent up shortly. After you have showered and get changed, come down for dinner.”

It took less than ten minutes for Yan Qingsi to receive her clothes, cosmetics, shoes, bags, and various other accessories after returning to her room. While she was taking her bath, Little Lin helped to hang up her clothes in the room.
She casually put on a comfortable linen long skirt after coming out of the shower and went downstairs wearing the slippers that she was given.
Xia Anlan was not out yet, she wandered around and arrived at the kitchen.
“Is there anything I can help with?”
Mrs. You said with a smile, “No need, just sit down and watch the TV. Children of your age usually would not like the kitchen’s smell. Go have fun.”
“Alright then.” Yan Qingsi turned around and walked away.
Mrs. You could not help but call out to her, “Qingsi.”
Yan Qingsi stopped. “Yes?”
With a sullen face Mrs. You hesitated and said, “There is something I…am not sure if I should remind you. Brother Lan and…you are not related after all. A girl should still be a little more reserved.”
Yan Qingsi tilted her head looking at Mrs. You before smiling and said, “But I am really his blood-related niece, didn’t you know?”
