"Sir, Mr.Fleming's call is there for you," Elvin said showing me the phone
I nodded and took it
"Long time but no see, Mr.Richardson," he chuckled
"Can I say the same about you," I said chuckling
Mr.Fleming, I mean Jason Fleming, was my high school friend, but we didn't talk much after he inherited his father's company, and I was also busy with mine
"So, your wife comes today, the man she's so beautiful, you're so lucky to have her, she's defiantly the beauty with the brain," he said
And I rolled my eyes, what she has that everyone just went crazy over her, I didn't see anything special in her
Even I saw more beautiful girls than her
"So, " I raised my eyebrows
"Actually, she wants me to invest in her company but seeing that her previous investers backed off because you told them to, I wonder should I sign with her company or not, it's not like I'm dependent on you, but you're my friend and I don't want to upset you," he said and a smirk played in my face
"Invest in her company, " I said and hang up
"I'm sorry sir, but if you want Mr.Fleming to invest in Mrs.Richardson's company, then why you let those previous investors go back off, " Elvin asked me
"Because there was something else planned for her," I smirked and dismissed him

As soon as I entered in my mansion,
I went straight to her room
I saw her sitting on the floor in Indian style, cross-legged, with bunches of files and papers scattered around her, she had earphones plugged in, and she was writing something on them
I chuckled, seeing what was going to happen with her
I'm sure it will break her whole confidence

I raised my eyebrows, "congratulations, so finally you got new investors for your company," I said to her and she nodded not looking in my eyes, I know very well that she was scared as hell from me, specially after that day in office, when she got to know that, I'm the one who did this all to her and her useless company
"Be ready by seven tomorrow, we're going for a date, with my friends, they wanted to meet you, and beside that we have business meeting with them, and you're also one of the member of Richardson Empire, as my dad decided the we should invest in your useless company," I ordered her
"I slowly looked in my eyes, and man, that look that damm look, it was enough to melt my heart
" I..im sorry, I can't ,I have other works, to do," she shook her head
"What did you said," I snapped going towards her and she started going backwards, gulping
"I...I mean, I have other plans," she said
"Cancel them, and tell your lover boy, to warm sowmome else bed, but you're coming with me tomorrow and that's final," I said glaring at her
Her head suddenly snapped at me as her eyes hardened, "I'm not like you Mr.Zuriel Richardon, do you think everyone was like you, a player and playboy, no, I have other works rather then this," she said looking in my eyes
I quickly took her laptop placed on the floor, and smashed it right on the floor making her bouncing backwards and gasp in horror

Next day some hours before the
date
My phone rang, and a smile crept over my face seeing who is calling me

Although I've always stayed away from most of the people in my high school, or you can say with almost all the people, she is an exception for me
But we spend very little time together, not much
She was ended up being my best friend when I first denied it when she asked me to be her best friend
But then, she didn't leave me after that
She even follows me to my hostel, all the way
She used to be the popular girl of high school, but she loses he fall popularity and status since the day, she entered with me in school, as my best friend and the shocker was that she never mind it, she was never fond of any popularity in high school
"Where are you bitch," I exclaimed
"Just arrived here in New York, from my business trip," she sighed
"Oh, how was your trip," I asked her
"Boring and sucks up," she cried out and I chuckled, she never like these, traveling and meeting new people like me
But she's a fashion designer, that's why she needs to go to several places, for trips
"Wait, bitchh, I'm gonna kill you, what the hell was that, I just saw in tabloid that you're now married to Zuriel Richardson," she screamed and I quickly pulled away from my phone from my ear
"You cheater, liar, betrayer, you got married without me," she said, I can sense the disappointment in her voice
" I'm so sorry, everything happened in so much of haste, that I didn't get time to call you," I said pouting
"You better have an explanation for this betrayal, you also forget right, our childhood promise, that we will be a bridesmaid of our wedding," she snapped and I closed my eyes
Zuriel Richardson, I hate you more now, you not only ruin my life but also, my promise which I did with my best friend is ruined because of you, I shook my head bit my lips
"Analia, listen......, and like this, I ended up marrying him," I sighed and sat on my bed sighing heavily, I explained everything to her, since starting that how Zuriel forced me to marry him
"That jerk, just a second I will come there and beat the shit out of him, how dare her to do this to you," she cried out and I laughed
"Okay, now please come here at the mansion, I really want to talk something very very important with you," I sighed and hang up the call
As soon as she arrived, I quickly dragged her in my room
"Gosh, this mansion is so beautiful, Bri and have you seen the river backside of the mansion," she exclaimed looking around at my room with opened mouth
"Okay, now listen, he wants me to attend the date with him and his friends as they want to meet me, but I don't have anything proper and suitable to wear," finally I explained this
"Yeah, wait you got married to Zuriel Richardson, oh God I didn't realise that before," she exclaimed
"Is he really that rich?" She whispers and I can sense she can't be able to believe it
"It's Zuriel Richardson, we are talking about," I added sarcastically.
Which was true, only one week after being married to him, even I barely see him in the mansion and we also live in different bedrooms, but I know everything he wore was branded because it's yesterday, several business suits arrived a mansion from the top designers and their names, I only heard in movies and magazines. This made me uneasy, as I know without a doubt the restaurant he chose would be a famous one too.
But I just don't know, but my gut feeling was saying something very wrong will happen if I will go there.
