"...excuse me, i need to go shower and prepare for school" She said and pulled away from his arms, walking briskly into the shelter of the bathroom.

She closed and locked the door, leaning her back on it and breathing deeply

"That went well" she whispered with a huge smile on her face.

When the door to the bathroom was closed, Tunde plopped himself back on he pillow and swore.

"This is great! I'm being forced into celibacy by my own woman. Just great!"

"What time do you close from school?" Tunde asked when they were on their way to her school where he would first drop her off.

"Five in the evening"

"Okay, I'll pick you up later then."

"No, I didn't inform my parents theat I won't be coming home tonight"

"Then tell them."

"Tell them?... How do I walk up to my dad and tell him I will be spending the night at my boyfriend's house?"

"How did you tell him before?"

"I lied"

"Then lie again"

"Baby how can you advised me to lie to my parents?"

"Okay don't lie. You are an adult, why do you still need your dad's permission?" He asked because he couldn't understand why a twenty years old woman would still need her daddy's permission to move freely.

"Tunde, this is Nigeria where, even though fathers want their daughters to get married, they still frown at the thought of them having a boyfriend."

"Okay, should I come talk to him then?" he asked sincerely

"What!? No!...i mean not that I don't want you to come or something... don't you think we are not quite there yet? I mean we are just getting to know each other and all..."

'Then what the fuck do you want me to do woman!?' He shouted in his head frustratingly before calmly saying out to her

"Abike what you tell your parents shouldn't be my business, okay. You're my woman...I'll pick you up at five and that's that.

"Okay, fine, but you don't have to be so bossy about it"

"You're right, I don't have to be bossy about it" he agreed while thinking 'I refused to be drawn into an argument with you... Women! How do you please them!?' He sighed with a hint of a smile on his face

"I'll still need to go home and get some stuffs"

"Don't bother, we'll buy whatever you need when I pick you up"

They arrived at The Nouveau School of Fashion and Design and he parked the car inside one of the many available parking space in front of the school.

"...so have a good day" Abby said and leaned forward to kiss him on his cheek. When she pull back she saw she had left behind a kiss mark of her glossy pink lipstick.

"Great! I left my mark on you" she said and grinned "that's me marking my territory and you better don't clean it off. It would eventually wear off by itself anyway so promise me you won't clean it off..."

He was amused by how she easily get excited and happy by something as simple as living her kiss mark on his face. Her happy face and being the source of her happiness filled him with joy and he would gladly promise her anything at that particular moment.

"I promise to proudly wear it like a badge for as long as it stays on my face" he said and laughed, held her behind her neck and kissed her senseless "now be a good girl and hurry to class. Love you!"

"Love you too baby" she replied, got down from the car, then she stood aside and watched him drove away.

"Why?... Was yesterday so sweet that you are now reluctant to see him go?"

Abby turned back towards the familiar voice of Dupe who was smiling happilly behind her

"What are we celebrating?" She asked and rolled her eyes upward at her friend's exaggeration

"Girl... Your lips look so full and pouty like they've just been thoroughly kissed... You need to see the look on your face..."

"What look? Class is almost starting" she said while they both walked in through the school gate

"The cat that got the cream kind of look...and babe you are so glowing it's blinding."

"I am?..."

"Yes..." She then lowered her voice and whispered into Abby's ear

"Will you stop already! she said and hurried ahead in order to escape her friend's teasing, almost bumping into Joy AKA the Peacock.

Joy was their class self proclaimed most beautiful girl. She was indeed beautiful, very fair, tall and slim. She earned the nickname peacock because she was vain.

She always points out to anybody who cares to listen that she was more beautiful than Abby as if they were in the competition of Nouveau most beautiful girl.

Her belief is, nobody has it all. According to Joy 'Abby can't be the most brilliant in the class and still be the most beautiful, that position belong to me'. A fellow classmate who tried to refute her claim was made to shut up by Joy when she said 'at least I can rival her in the beauty department. What about you? Nada!'

"Watch it! Oh my god somebody is happy. Did you win the lottery?" She asked Abby with amusement without waiting for a reply

"I told you so..." Dupe said and grinned
