A knock came at the door.
“GO AWAY!” Adam yelled.
“Uh,yeh . “We can hear you out here”. Mikah said with amusement in his voice.
“As much as I enjoyed the entertainment. “You might want to take that someplace more private.”
Alex puts her clothes back on and straightens her tutu.
Adam opens the door to find all the warriors still there.
“Damn. I forgot to dismiss them.”
Mikah is standing there smiling.
“Great show. Can I hear it again?” Mikah said laughing.
“NO! Now go away.” All of you.”” Adam demanded.
Adam walks back in his office and shuts the door.
Alex is standing there. Three shades of red.
“I’m sorry.” I should have ?” I don’t know.” Sorry.”
Alex is smiling at his dilemma.
“It’s ok. Don’t apologize. You were amazing.”
“Alex?” Adam said, holding her hands.
“How come you waited so long for a mate?”
“Or have there been other mates?”‘
“Like I told you, You're my first and only.”
“Moon Goddess said when the time is right we will be joined forever.”
“On the new moon you will share my powers and my life force.”
Connor opened the office door.
“Damn It Adam! It smells of sex in here.”
“DAD! Alex is my mate!” Adam said excitedly.
“I’m so happy for you. “He said, smiling at Alex.
“NOW, Take her to your room.” I have to work in this office too.”
Adam walked out of his office with his arm around Alex.
Mikah started applauding, Everyone joined in applauding.
“DAMN YOU MIKAH!” Adam said.
Mikah stood there grinning. “Hey, You started it.”
Alex covered her face in embarrassment.
“Go get packed everyone.” Adam said. And left the room with Alex.
Alex goes to her room and starts packing.
I need to find a way to get Mikah back. Alex thought.
RIKER
Riker gets to his brother’s house.
Two very large men from Rikers Pack, Carry Joshua into the den.
Joshua continues to scream, as his wrists are being severed.
A large woman with brown hair and eyes leans over him, observing the bracelets around his wrists.
They are magic cuffs! Get my bag from my room. She yells at a young girl.
The girl returns with a huge multi-colored bag in her hands and drops it at the woman's feet.
The large woman pulls out a vile and pours it on Joshua's wrists.
Screeching a cantation over the cuffs, they start to release slowly,
Until she can pull them off.
There! She says, and pulls out another vile and pours the contents over his wrists.
Joshua howls in pain. The large woman wraps his wrists and pours the rest of the liquid in the vile down his throat.
Joshua’s pain subsided, and he started to relax.
One of the men helped Joshua to a room upstairs.
“He should be healed up in about a week. Depending on how strong his wolf is.” The woman said.
Riker’s brother asked,” What the hell is going on, and what happened to my nephew?”
“Firefox is back, And I know where she is.”
“We already have a witch to perform the ritual, but we still need an oracle for the premonitions.”
“I will help you. But I want Ala for my mate.” (John) Rikers brother said.
Joshua came down the stairs at that moment. He heard what his uncle said.
“No!! “ Joshua yells
“I want her!!!”
“You have a mate out there, somewhere. John told him.”
“Calm down and listen to me.”
“Once you find your mate, you will not want her. Trust me.”
My mate died in childbirth. So I’m perfect for her.
