Final Surprise
Jackson teleported himself back outside of the gate. No one had actually paid attention to him entering, which is what he had hoped for. He doesn’t like for attention to be on him in any way, shape, form, or fashion, plus, it does help with the fact that they had to come up with this plan.
It’s not something that any of them are actually wanting to do. No one likes wars and fighting, or at least they shouldn’t. It takes too much energy, but they have to do something. If Cole realizes that Seth just Sonja out of the dungeons and willing gave her to her sisters, then all hell would break loose. A worse hell than anything Jackson’s about to do.
Without waiting for the guards to say anything, Jackson throws a fire ball at the gates slamming them open with a bang and breaking them off of their hinges. The guards at the gate instantly shift into their wolves and attack. Jackson doesn’t actually plan on killing anyone, so instead he shoots a few stunning spells at them knocking the attacking wolves out cold.
Yup, how do you start a war with another, blowing up their gate and knocking out a few of their guards seems to be one way. As soon as the gates had flung open a loud siren screamed through the air alerting everyone that danger is near. More guards and warriors came charging toward the front from where all the noise could be heard while woman and children could be seen running to shelter,
Jackson should have known better than to attempt to stage a war. He is the son of the Lord of Darkness after all. His blood lust still exists. The love to watch a soul tormented and ripped from its body and left to suffer still exist. Amillia knows this, she is well aware of how the sons of the Lord of Darkness must operate in order to stay on the good side.
All of a sudden, an idea struck Jackson, but it’s not something that he can ponder on at this moment. It will be addressed once this is all over. His conclusion, though, is that something isn’t right, and Amillia should have known that by engaging in any sort of war, whether intentional or not, would result in casualties being lost, or may she had planned for that this whole time and just pretended to ask them to save as many lives as possible.
Nope, not at all possible. There’s way to many warriors in this pack of shifters to get lucky enough to just have to knock a few out. Amillia had to have known this.
After the fifth one attacked one on one against Jackson, they decided to attack in groups and that’s when Jackson lost it. He couldn’t control his darkness anymore as four of the shifting wolves start to attack at once. Jackson shot a fireball at the group, burning them all alive.
The next bunch of defenses each had their necks snapped by the twisting of his wrists. Simple. It wouldn’t take much at all to destroy this whole pack. It’s very obvious that they have never been trained in the defense of magical, especially powerful dark magic. The pack never faulters though, they keep attacking, not waiting, and they keep dying, the more times it happens the bloodier it gets.
Meanwhile, inside of the house they can all hear the commotion that is going on outside.
“Are you sure about this plan?” Sonja asks Amillia being held up by Seth still and Khalil close by.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Amillia responds.
Khalil looks at Amillia with a look saying it all, he doesn’t trust her plan and what little bit of trust he had let build up toward her is now in question. There’s no way that this is going to work!
Even Seth is looking skeptical at Amillia. “Yeah, well, you should have actually made sure that I would do as you ask before you sent Jackson on some impossible mission.”
“It’ll work and oh yeah, you’re going to do it. You’re about to show all these people why even the Wyatt’s should be fearing your ass,” Amillia retorts with a sleigh smile on her face.
Oh yeah, Seth’s doing it. They’re going to do whatever they have to do to make it out of here, with everyone, even if that means that they are going to end up doing stuff that they don’t want to do.
“Look, Seth, we don’t have time to argue. Jackson won’t be able to take much before he starts killing, he can’t help it, that’s why he normally avoids confrontations such as these.” Amillia warns.
Seth crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow, “You really think you can make me?” He asks, already dreading the daring question before it leaves his lips.
Amillia’s smile widen, “Why Seth, of course I can, or have you forgotten who I am?” The evil in her voice evident. She’s not one to be messed with. The look on her face and her smile sent chills down everyone’s spin.
It takes a lot for Seth to lose control of himself, but when he does no one stands in his way. He’s one of the fiercest beasts to ever exist. Seth is almost not like most wolf shifter either. He doesn’t turn into a beautifully tall wolf on four legs like normal, nope, instead he stays on his two feet and look more like a rabid big foot. And that, my friends, is why he would be considered the leader of them all in this world. And he was tall, very tall, not like eight, nine feet tall, nope, Seth’s wolf form stands about thirteen feet tall, almost like a small giant. To say that form of him is scary would be an understatement, it’s downright frightening.
It's only when Seth gets completely outraged that his transforms into the monster. Normally he’s able to keep good control over himself, after all he’s had about four hundred years, (according to this world), to learn to adjust to the beast that lives inside of him and learn to control that very bad temper of his. Seth may seem well put together and controlled on the outside, but there’s a constant turmoil on the inside of him, and once the beast does take over it’s hard for him to be able to reign him back in.
Seth ponders on her words for a moment, but before he could respond anymore a fist connected with his jaw, making his anger rise some.
“What the fuck!” He exclaimed looking at Amillia who’s smiling.
She doesn’t respond to him though, instead she just starts throwing punches after punches at Seth, who in return is either trying to block her or hold her one. Holding her seems to be impossible, she’s using her powers to kick up the impact of the punches which in return makes her skin tingle, so every time that Seth goes to grab her arm he gets a bolt of energy and is electrocuted, which doesn’t help his stance on not turning and remaining calm.
“Fucking stop it Am…” Before he could finish that sentence, he was kneed in the stomach and then a throat punch as she continues to assault him. He will eventually cave and then Atlas can come out and play.
He could have handled a lot more, mostly because he knows that she is trying to provoke him, but when he starts to feel his connection to the members of this pack, his anger flourishes and Atlas’s protective side comes out causing the change to happen.
As Seth is shifting into the beast, he grabs Amillia by her throat, lifting her up off of the ground as he does. She doesn’t even fight against it, never once has this monster ever been able to hurt Amillia, no matter what she’s done to them. For some reason the beast respects her, although she has never been sure as to why and Seth has always been tight lipped about it.
The beast growls so loud that the walls of the house start to shake. Khalil grabs onto Sonja holding her tight and Natalia is standing behind him. He actually looks as if he’s attempting to protect both of the women, although he knows he probably doesn’t stand a change in a fight against the monster that Seth is turning into. And now he understands where his reputation comes from.
Amillia winks at Atlas, who just smiles. The beast can smile! Then he throws Amillia across the room who smashes into the entertainment center and making it collapse and everything fall, busted, and destroyed, into a heap on the floor around Amillia.
Natalia goes to move, instantly wanting to protect her sister not liking seeing her laying on the floor with the heap of a mess that surrounds her. Khalil grabs her arm and shakes his head and one look from Atlas, the beast, she stops dead in her tracks.
Neither of the three of them expected Amillia to rise up after being tossed like a rag doll across the room, but she surprises them all and stands back up, she barely has a mark on her. She starts to throw fire balls from the palm of her hands in the direction of Atlas.
The beast roars again, dodging the majority of everything Amillia is throwing at him. It almost seems as if this is something that the two of them are used too, neither of them actually aiming to do serious damage, just enough to make it look real. If the beast has that much control, then why had Seth been against going with Amillia’s plan to begin with?
In two strides Atlas is back in front of Amillia and has punched her so hard that she is knocked back into the wall, blood automatically flowing down her beautiful and what used to be blonde hair, coating is turning it red. It’s obvious that this beast is not using its full strength, because if it was then there is no way that Amillia could be getting back the way that she is.
There is something that neither Seth, his beast, nor Amillia knew that would happen once Atlas is awake and active again. Erik had made sure that he would be notified when the big and bad dangerous monster is let lose into this world. He’s been aware for many years that Amillia is the one person who can bring Atlas to the surface regardless of what Seth says about the matter, and he knows that the only way Atlas would wake up in the mortal world is if Amillia is the one to wake him.
The moment that Atlas woke up, he was notified, and he left his world, Svijet areas, and headed to the mortal realm. Things are about to get interesting. Time to see if his theory is correct.
“Get them out of here Khalil,” Amillia says as she attacks Atlas once again. She’s aware she has to keep his focus on her. Atlas would never intentionally hurt her, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t tear through the other three in the room.
“We can’t just leave you Amillia,” Natalia says.
“Yes! You can! And you will, Khalil get them the hell out of here,” another fire ball being thrown by Amillia and dodged by the beast.
Without further hesitation Khalil grabs a hold of both of the women and head to the door. Opening it, he goes to walk outside and pauses for a brief moment looking at the scene surrounding them outside of the walls of the house.
Yes, Amillia and Atlas have done a good job of destroying the house, in fact, Khalil is sure it’s going to catch fire soon if Amillia amps up the power of her fire balls, but outside, outside is a complete and total blood bath.
There’s body parts and dead bodies and blood everywhere. Jackson is still fighting more of the warriors of the pack that are attacking him, taking them down with ease. It almost doesn’t seem fair. Why is he killing them? Hadn’t Amillia said spare as many as possible?
He shouldn’t have paused though, that pause that he took in the doorway is all it took for Atlas’s attention to be taken away from Amillia, whom he doesn’t view as a total threat, and given to Khalil, Natalia, and Sonja, whom Atlas doesn’t know personally and does view as a threat. He goes to move toward them. Amillia notices the change in his direction before Khalil ever lets it register with himself.
“Hey, asshole!” Amillia shouts sending a stronger fire ball at Atlas, who stops only for a moment before he continues his descent upon the perceived threats. “Khalil!” Amillia shouts, getting his attention just in time for him to dunk with both girls before Atlas’s massive arm collided with all three of them.
“Fuck,” Amillia mutters under her breath as she takes off running and tackles Atlas to the ground, surprising the other three who just barely were able to dodge the massive beast landing on the porch before being squashed.
Atlas rolls over swinging Amillia off of him and against the railing on the other side of the porch. Her body collides with the railing with such a forceful impact that it snaps, and she’s thrown off the porch with all the splintered wood.
Khalil grabs a hold of the other two girls and takes off running in the opposite direction, toward Jackson, as Atlas’s attention is given fully back to Amillia. The three of them stop at the edge of the porch and use the side take cover and hopefully stay out of any line of fire. Of course, Khalil wouldn’t mind fighting, he’s been trained for war, just not this type of war, but Natalia knows nothing of any type of fighting, and Sonja is still way to weak to be able to defend herself. Therefore, Khalil is stuck trying to protect these two and hoping that they all make it out of this alive.
She can sense his presence before she ever knows where he is. She has splinters all in her back, and it hurts like a bitch, but she still pushes herself up. She knows that Atlas would never actually mean to kill her or do severe physical harm to her and knowing how hard he had thrown her he’ll be close by.
As she rolls over to get up off of the ground, she hears the worst growl ever coming from Atlas, one loud enough and powerful enough to shake the entire ground that they are currently on. She snaps her head and twist to turn and look onto the porch to see what’s happened, praying that Khalil had moved the women and got them to safety. If he hasn’t then all of this chaos is for nothing anyways.
What she didn’t expect to see if Erik standing in between her and Atlas with a long silver blade held against Atlas’s throat and Atlas on his knees.
“What the hell?” Amillia asks, standing up with blood all over her. At least it’s all her blood, which means no one else is hurt, but what’s bad is that fact she’s wounded and weakened, and Erik Wyatt has reappeared into her life. She’s in condition to be trying to fight him. Right now, Amillia can actually see herself dying today.
“Hello baby girl, didn’t I tell you that I’ll find you again?” He says with an evil smile on his fact. “You’re mine. I’ll always find you.”
“Go to hell!” Amillia states calmly with a look of pure hate and rage on her face and the feeling running cold inside of her veins.
“Nah,” Erik jokes, “I didn’t like it much there, ya know, remember, you had your lover take me there one time and that so wasn’t fun.”
Amillia rolls her eyes. That was only the first time the bastard had been to the underworld. Turns out that he cut a deal with the Lord of Darkness while he had been there and therefore has become more powerful and gained techniques that he wouldn’t normally have under any other circumstances. In fact, he’s as powerful as he is today due to the fact that Damian had taken him to the underworld all those years ago.
“Come with me baby girl, get our son back, and no one has to die, especially Atlas here, he’s such a decent weapon to just die today,” Erik demands.
Nope, there’s no way that she trusts him or will ever go back to him. From past experiences Amillia knows that that is the worst idea and plan that anyone has ever came up with.
Amillia considers her option for a moment mostly trying to figure out a way to save Atlas in all this, after all it is her fault that he’s stuck in the situation that he’s in. If she even attempts to think about agreeing with Erik then he’s going to slice the beasts head off, and even if she disagrees, he’s most definitely going to do that. There has to be another way out of this situation without the death of a friend that she has had for a very long time.
Her heart is beating fast in her chest as she’s weighing out her options. Atlas looks at her, although not with his bright silver shinning eyes that are beautiful, but with Seth’s bright green eyes that shine like emeralds. He’s wanting to shift back, but why is what Amillia wants to know.
In the head of the beast, Seth has convinced Atlas that giving up control will stun Erik enough for them to be able to maneuver a bit in order to not die. Now to just convey this message to Amillia somehow, she can attack in the moment distraction he’ll create. It’s the only chance either of them has. After all, he knows what will happen the moment Erik gets his way and gets a hold of Amillia. He refuses to watch that happen again, even if he has to die to prevent it from happening again.
Amillia thinks that she understands what Seth is trying to tell her. She nods her head slightly, making Erik think that she’s actually stupid enough to agree with him. He starts to chuckle, distracting himself thinking of all the ways he’s going to torture this bitch the moment that they return to his world before he watches her die.
All at once Seth shifts back into himself and ducks out of the way as Amillia starts sending electric fireballs at Erik as quick and as hard as she can. She’s using way more energy than she has to attempt to attack him, draining herself and running off of pure adrenaline.
Seth, back into human form, manages to get the sword away from Erik while Amillia is attacking him. Without saying a word Seth runs to Amillia and stands by her side in a defense mode.
Amillia can barely see Jackson, eyes red as fire itself, walking over to where Khalil and her two sisters are watching the show, surprised to see some another person arrive and at what all is taking place right in front of their faces. Jackson nods his head at Amillia, grabbing hold of Khalil who has a hold of the girls by their upper arms in his hands, and disappearing. Amillia has a hunch as to where he’s going.
For a brief moment she stops her attack on Erik who has somehow managed to gain a new skill and instead of being burnt to a crisp as he should be, is barely burnt at all. Amillia is shocked, but before she could process what she’s seeing she grans a hold of Seth’s hand and follows the tracks of Jackson’s shift.
Two more times shifting, then hot wiring a car, thanks to Natalia, and driving to the middle of the United States, the five of them finally stop to rest and clean up. Amillia is especially interested to see the damage to her body that she had just endured. She wants to know how bad the extent of the damage truly is.
Natalia, the one that doesn’t look as if she has just came from WWIII, walks into the receipt office to book them a room at one of the finest hotels in the city. It’s crowded and one of the places that Erik wouldn’t think to look for them. He knows that Amillia doesn’t like flash, and her being with Seth means that normally they’d pick the cheapest most off the grid location possible to clean and rest up at.
Once the rooms are rented Natalia hands Khalil the key to his and Sonja’s room, hands a key to Jackson for a room for them to share, and then hands Amillia a key to a room for her and Seth to share. After everyone has the key to their designated rooms, Natalia takes the car and leaves to go to the mall and buy everyone some clothes and other necessities that they will need.
Since they are all sharing a floor, Jackson figures it will be easier to them to get in unnoticed if he shimmers, or teleports them inside. Khalil is still holding up Sonja, and Amillia is so bloody, bruised, and beaten that there’s no way she’ll be able to go inside without drawing unwanted attention. At least they in a part of the city is mostly inhabited by mortals, or at least for now it is anyways.
Once inside, Jackson walks into his room, Khalil assist Sonja into their, and Seth is still carrying Amillia as if she’s a fragile doll that’s about to break. He has her cradled in his arms, not even allowing her to walk. Her blood is not covering him as well.
“It shouldn’t take Natalia too long,” Seth says softly to Amillia opening their door and taking her inside. He doesn’t set her down until they are inside the bathroom. He turns on the water, nice and hot and steamy, jus the way that Amillia has always liked it.
She laughs at him, “You do know that I’m not crippled,” She says, although she’s having major trouble standing up straight and is using the nice fancy sink basin to hold herself up.
Seth turns and looks at her and raises an eyebrow. “Yeah, sure, if you say so.” He moves behind her, “Let’s see your back then, Miss can-take-care-of-herself,” he says.
Amillia goes to raise her shirt and the pain is almost too much for her to bear. She hisses and drops her arms again.
“Nope, that hurts, maybe I can just clean up with the shirt on,” she jokes.
Seth rolls his eyes, “No ma’am, we need to make sure you don’t have splinters in your back and get those wounds cleaned up so they can heal.”
“Yes sir,” she jokes and attempts to raise her hand to solute at him, but even that caused a lot of pain.
He laughs at her and lift her arms, taking her shirt off. “Damn!” He exclaims looking at her back.
There’s not just a few splinters, her back is cut all to hell, small pieces of wood sticking out everywhere, there’s not an inch that isn’t covered. This is going to take some time and some tweezers.
“That bad?” She asks.
He doesn’t say anything at first, thinking. He turns and walks out of the room and down the hallway to where Khalil’s room is and knocks on the door.
“Do you have anyway to get a hold of Natalia?” Seth asks Khalil when he answers the door.
“Yeah, I have her number, why?” He answers.
“We’re going to need a lot more than just the basics. I need tweezers and alcohol and anti-septic’s, anything, and everything she can get. Amillia isn’t okay.” Seth informs as Khalil gets his phone and calls Natalia to repeat everything that Khalil just said to her.
