Amillia had been right, in a way. While the mother goddess was mad, she wasn’t exactly completely mad at Amillia, but the fates are a different subject all together. No one knows what those sisters are doing, but it’s become obviously clear that they are not as neutral in everything as they are supposed to be. The fates aren’t supposed to have a dog in this battle, and yet, they have made sure that they do anyways.
“I understand your plight in all of this Amillia, none of this is going the way it’s supposed to right now, and we all know that the fates have had their hand into everything, but there’s nothing we can do about it. When we all created everything, we gave people, and beings, the freedom of choice, and sometimes I think that wasn’t the wisest decision to be made, but that’s the way that everything should be.” Mother goddess tells Amillia.
Amillia can’t help but to laugh, “I mean, no offense, but you could always take the choice away from everyone. Wouldn’t that solve all your problems?”
The mother goddess just looks at Amillia, she seen this coming, but that’s not the answer. “No, it wouldn’t. There would still be the Lord of Darkness, and if we took away everyone’s choice then what would make us any different from him?”
She does have a good point. It’s not as if the Lord of Darkness is kind enough to let his followers decide for themselves what they want to do. In fact, his choices are limited to follow him, and do exactly as he instruct or suffer one of the most horrendous acts of violence that he can think of at the time. Not really much of a choice, because there’s no escaping him, not even in death.
“So, what does all of this have to do with me? I don’t want to be in the middle of all of this anymore, no disrespect majka bozica, but in all honesty I would rather just make sure my sisters and cousins are okay, get my son, and return back to Gloria. I would rather have the peaceful life as a guardian than having to go through all this in these different worlds.”
Mother goddess gives Amillia a sideways look, “Just because the fates are attempting to control everything doesn’t mean you don’t have a destiny to follow still. There’s more to all of this than what anyone that we created can understand. You’re involved whether you want to be or not, and that’s simply because of who you are. You are meant to do great things, and your children are meant to do greater things. Your cousins and your sisters are also a part of it, and they have their own paths to follow. One day, they will cross again, but it’s not part of the cards for now.”
Amillia can’t help but to roll her eyes and wonder why everything has to be so cryptic. Why can’t she just get a road map of what is required and needed of her so that she can move on with her life. What’s the point in all of this anyways. If everyone has their own fate and destiny set before them then what’s the point of all this turmoil and chaos? None of this is making any sense to her at all.
“You can’t stay here much longer. The fates are almost done with their meeting with Damian, so you’ll have to return. Your destiny is about to take another twist once you return back into the mortal realm Amillia, all your choices are yours to make, but I do beg of you that you will fight this darkness inside. Your destiny is so much greater than the path you are currently on. I can’t force you to choose the right path, but I do ask of you to do your best to stay on the path that was meant for you, and not the one you are one right now. It’s not too late, but at some point, it will be.” majka bozica implores. “If you want your family back and to have that normal and peaceful life then I beg of you to think about your decisions wisely and not just make choices on a whim.”
With that, she’s gone, and Amillia is back to being in the dark.
Amillia is back in her apartment setting in the circle of white candles that she had created for her meditation.
Damian came back into the apartment not long after Amillia had everything cleaned up after herself. He doesn’t look happy, but then again who would after the conversation that he had with the fates. Those women are beyond annoying at this point in time. But he has no idea of anything that the mother goddess had told Amillia and she isn’t sure if she wants to share the information with him or not.
He looks tired and exhausted, but Amillia knows he’s been trying to fight back all the evil that she let into this world on top of having a meeting with the fates. That’d be enough to tire anyone out at any rate.
“This is all a mess,” he mutters while rubbing his hands over his forehead.
That’s the understatement of the year, to say the least. Everything is beyond being a mess right now, and it’s all Amillia’s fault too, well kind of. She feels as if the great majority of everything going on right now is her fault.
“This is more than a mess Damian, that’s putting it lightly,” Amillia commented.
When she looked up at him, she seen something she hadn’t expected on seeing. His eyes are completely fire red. There’s not a single drop of different color in his eyes. Yup, this isn’t good, Amillia’s seen this look before and now she regrets ever listening to the mother goddess. She had been granted more power than she could ever imagine making sure her destiny is fulfilled, and it appears the consequences are going to end up being Damian, and his sanity.
Amillia stood tall pushing the fear that had struck her for a moment down into nothingness. This isn’t the first time she’s dealt with Damian at his worst, over the last few months demons have become her friends, but this is the first time the anger and fury coming from Damian has been aimed at her, herself. Normally it would be at whatever innocent soul they had decided to torment that day. This is different.
“This is your fucking mess that they want me to clean up!” He said, his voice deep, cold, and way to calm.
The next thing that Amillia knew was that she had been lifted in the air and slammed against a wall, Damian holding her up by her neck so tight that she can barely breathe. Déjà vu starts to kick in on her and she has flash backs to all the fights that had happened between herself and Erik. She isn’t too willing to live in that past again. She had decided that no one else would ever get the upper hand on her the way that Erik had.
Amillia’s eyes turned ice blue with the fold rim around the outside of them shining brightly, then her skin started to heat up. She was mad, very mad. Her whole body was shaking with anger at this point in time.
Without warning Damian let her go, his hand burning from where he had her gripped around her throat. Amillia falls gracefully to the floor, landing on her feet and looking up at the monster who she loves with her whole heart.
“Never again Damian. If you’re going to act like a monster, then I’ll treat you as such!” She says to him with way too much calm in her voice yet demanding. She isn’t afraid of him. Fear has been an emotion that has been foreign to her for many years now. “Don’t you ever think about ever putting your hands on me again!”
A fire is burning inside of her. She’s not been this angry in a while either, so many old emotions Damian is bringing up, emotions that she hadn’t been wanting to get familiar with.
“They cursed us Amillia,” Damian informs her as he’s just barely able to gain control over himself once again. He would never intentionally do anything to ever hurt the woman that is standing in front of him, and he can’t believe that he almost did. But what shocks him more is that Amillia isn’t only radiating anger and fire within herself, but her hands have also been consumed with flames. She’s brought the fire out of her.
“Who cursed us? What curse?” Although Amillia has some idea as to who he’s talking about. It’s not as if she had a meeting with the mother goddess for nothing.
Damian closes his eyes trying to remain in control. The darkness is desperate to take over and be let loose. If he and Amillia are targeted against each other then the war they will cause will do nothing but destroy this earth, which in turn would make his father proud, but making that asshole proud isn’t exactly at the top of the list of things that Damian is trying to do at the moment. He doesn’t want to hurt Amillia. He doesn’t want to fight with her either, all he wants is for them to go back to the way things had been, but that’s not going to happen.
“The fates, they cursed us. According to them we’ve messed with the fate of others too much and they refuse to let us continue, so they cursed us to where we can’t be around each other without bringing out the worst of each other.” He tells her, although he regrets having to say the words out loud.
This news doesn’t shock Amillia. She had seen it coming, she had been warned that it would more than likely happen. It does break her heart though. She and Damian can no longer be in the same place at the same time or else they’d destroy everything. That much is obvious, both of them are way to powerful to be trying to fight one another, and that’s besides the fact that they love each other so their fighting is a moot point.
“Where is Matthew?” Amillia asks.
Damian just looks at her, understanding lacing his face. “He’s with the dragon shifters, if he’s not in the world of worlds with Gloria then he would be in their world with them. They’re supposed to be protecting him while you were dealing with whatever issues had happened with you and Leyla,” he answers.
Amillia can’t help the laugh that escapes her. “Issues”? Is that what he’s calling it. “I wouldn’t say issues per say, more like Leyla woke the darkness and was hell bent on destroying this world. She had no idea the power we contain, she was actually surprised when I brought Lilith back…” Amillia trails off for a moment. “Oh, yeah, about that, how much damage has she done?”
Damian rolls his eyes, now she’s concerned about all of that. “Enough,” he tells her. “Don’t worry about that though. There’s no damage done that I can’t fight back and at least I can still stop the apocalypse from happening in this world, for now.”
Well at least he’s still confident in his ability. Although, it’s quite obvious he’s slowly losing control again, his eyes keep flashing from the beauty they are to the fire red that they can become.
“We don’t have long, do we?” She asks.
“Not at all.”
“This curse sucks, but I can’t blame the fates entirely this time. At least they have a solid reason for what they’re doing, as much as I hate to admit that. I really don’t like those sisters.” Amillia states.
Damian laughs, “I don’t think too many people do to be honest, or at least the ones who have actually met them aren’t particularly fond of them to say the least.”
“I’m going to go find my son, I’m sorry for leaving you with this mess to clean up. It is my mess after all.”
Damian takes a step closer to her, the closer he gets the harder it is to continue to fight himself though. He leans down and kisses her. The last thing that he wants to do is let her leave alone to go explore the other worlds. She shouldn’t have to go in search for her son alone, but he knows that he can’t be with her much longer unless they want to unleash hell on earth, the real hell this time and not just the simple demons that have come out to play here lately.
An idea struck Amillia, she has no idea where it came from or even if it would work, but from what she has been told it may be something the both of them need to look into.
“There may be a way around this curse,” she says softly after Damian takes a step back away from her once again.
He shakes his head, “Do you really think that the fates are willing to risk being made a fool of, yet again, by either of us?”
Amillia can’t help but to smile, “Of course they won’t, but there’s more powerful beings that exist other than the mates. Let me find Matthew and see what all is going on. My plan may actually be one that will end up being needed…” she trails off for a moment, “even if it doesn’t let us go around the curse it’s still something that may need to be done, although I really hope not.”
Now Damian is intrigues, “What are you talking about?”
Amillia shakes her head. “If Gloria is gone then that world would be compromised, and if Matthew isn’t there then that means Gloria is no longer there. Something will have to be done to keep the worlds separate and protected Damian.”
He understands what she is saying, but he honestly can’t believe that she would actually think of something like this. It would be nearly impossible for them to be able to pull off the stunt she’s thinking, but then again, if she does find Matthew and they can hold it together long enough to pull it off then it just might work.
The first place that Amillia went when she left was back to her aunt Gloria’s. She had never been happier to have the ability to travel between the worlds. It’s something that’s not supposed to be done, but a certain few can. It’s always monitored by the deities who’s able to cross over and who can’t. They like to keep a check on those things just in case the Lord of Darkness escapes the underworld and makes his way around to the other worlds.
What she saw when she got there broke her heart. The mansion that belongs to Cole still stands while her aunt's house is burned. The gardens, all burned. It looks horrible. The sky is even darker than what it is supposed to be.
This is just another thing to prove how right the mother goddess right. Of course, Amillia should have known better than to ever attempt to doubt someone as powerful as majka bozica. To Amillia’s surprise though, this world hasn’t been completely deserted. Michael is standing outside of the mansion’s front door, looking straight at the spot where she is standing in the forest.
Amillia lets out a breath of air that she hadn’t been aware she had been holding. She starts to walk towards Michael, who in turn is also making his way towards her as well. He looks relieved to see her alive, he can’t help but to embrace her in a tight hug once they are within arm length of each other.
“We thought that you were dead,” he murmurs into her air, not willing to let her go anytime soon for fear that this is just a dream, and she isn’t really here.
Amillia laughs, trying to make light of whatever situation she has just come upon. “It’s going to take a hell of a lot to take me out Michael Wyatt,” she states. “What happened here?”
Michael’s face holds so much anger, hate, resentment, and loathing that it isn’t even funny. Amillia has never seen this side of him before, and it’s really not flattering to say the least.
“After you and Erik both disappeared, Cole came back with some kind of dark witch, and they burned the place. According to them me, Elizabeth, and Melody are to stay here and keep guard in case you come back. They want us to alert them the moment that you step foot on this land.” Michael answered. “They took Gloria, but I’m not sure where. Taylor and Joseph fucking ran like bitches the moment the black witch started burning shit around here.”
The hate in Michael’s voice makes Amillia’s heart race a little fast. Is this all part of Cole’s plan? The training failed the one son who actually went, or at least they thought, she’s still not one hundred percent sure as to what the purpose of his “training” had been, not even he knew himself. She had asked him once.
“Michael, it’ll be okay.” She states, placing her hand on his arm. She hates seeing him this upset. Michael has always been the most laid back and relaxed one out of the whole Wyatt group that lived here. This is so totally not him.
The look that Michael gives Amillia sends chills all the way down to her bones. “No, Amillia, it really won’t be okay. They’ve left us here with nothing, and we can’t even go into the forest actually because the witch put up a barrier spell to keep us out, that way we can’t escape or go for help. Melody hasn’t actually ate anything in almost a full day now. Elizabeth and I had given her everything, and now, we don’t know what to do.”
Amillia turns and looks at the forest that she had just come out of. “Well, what we’re going to do is get you guys out of this world for starters. I think it’s time for a fresh start to be honest. This place is dying, with no one in the Black family here to tend to it. My bet is that Cole and whomever that black witch was had no idea of how this world works and the true power behind it. It’s going to self-destruct without one of us here, and I can’t stay here.”
Which brought Amillia back to the reason that she’s even here to begin with, “Speaking of which, has anyone else been here?”
She doesn’t want to give too much away. She loves the twins and Melody, but she doesn’t trust them completely, she can’t afford too, after all, their father has pretty much bled into them their entire life that Amillia and her family are the bad guys and that everything that has ever happened negatively is their fault, which is far from the truth.
“A couple, they had a toddler with them, they were looking for your aunt, but since they could tell she wasn’t here they didn’t stick around long to find out what happened. I’m not sure where they went, but that kid they had with them did look sort of familiar,” Michael informs with a sideways glance at Amillia, who doesn’t lose her poker face from his stare.
It’s obvious that Michael is wanting to say more, but he’d rather have Amillia admit to it herself. He knows good and well that when she left, she was carrying his brother’s child. Now she’s back, not pregnant, doesn’t have a child with her, and yet, the child that had been with the couple looking for Gloria looked an awful lot like Erik. He’s not a fool, but he doesn’t want to be the one to say the words out loud. He knows Amillia has her reasons for keeping her secrets.
“I’ll make you a deal Michael, if you want to,” Amillia states.
“What’s that?” He asks cocking his eyebrow up and looking at Amillia sideways.
“Come with me, help Damian, and then when Matthew comes home, we can fix everything, maybe not here, but somewhere else. Melody will be okay, between you, Elizabeth, and Damian she’ll one of the most spoiled kids ever.” Amillia says, and then she realizes that Michael probably doesn’t know Damian, and he most definitely has no idea who Matthew is.
“Care to elaborate who these who new men are in your life?” He asks out of genuine curiosity.
Amillia smiles at him, “Damian’s the one who saved me, and Matthew is your nephew.” She answers. “I came here looking for him, but if he’s not here then I need to go to a different world where he’ll be. He’s with some dragon shifters that Damian entrusted to watch him while we dealt with… some… things, but now everything’s changed and it’s time for him to come back to us.”
Michael rolls his eyes, “Amillia what part of the dark witch put a spell on this place don’t you understand?” He asks.
Amillia can’t help the smile that crosses her face. “What part of this world was created of my family don’t you understand. The dark witch may have done whatever she done, but it’s not anything I can’t undo, but I must warn you where it’s dark magic there’s a good chance, I’ll turn into an evil bitch again.”
“Again?”
“That’s a longer story and part of why I’ve been away for so long and what I’m doing here now. I don’t want to get into all of that right now though. I’m just assuming we won’t have much time, if that woman has spelled you in here then she’s more than likely got a way to sense my presence in this world. I highly doubt Cole would trust you to actually come to him with the information that I’m here.” Amillia responds.
Michael nods his head and heads back toward his house. Cole would go to any lengths to get his grandson, the most powerful being to ever be born into any world. Matthew has the blood of three different deities running through his system, not to mention all the powers associated with them as well. At this point Amillia just hopes the dragon shifters that have her son are actually able to keep him safe, Damian knows of all the dangers Matthew could be in and she has complete faith that he wouldn’t let just any random person take them.
Getting the spell from around the forest had drained a lot of Amillia’s energy. One thing she had been blessed to be able to do after her talk with the mother goddess is absorb darkness that’s around her, or in others. The only trick is that she has to find a way to release it as well, or else it’d consume her and turn her evil once again, which is something she’s still fighting against. Only the will of mother goddess is keeping sane right now.
After working a bit of magic with Damian, Amillia left the twins and Melody with him. One time only would they ever be able to work the magic that they had performed, and what better day to do it than on the day when the world of worlds will crumble. Even the deities knew that that world wouldn’t last much longer, therefor, they made it possible for Amillia and Damian to do what needed to be done, plus, this way works out better for everyone involved. It's the start of a new beginning.
Amillia left, going to a whole new world, one full of nothing but shifters of all kinds. Yeah, sure, maybe Avalon had a few, but this world, there’s only one other magical being in that world that isn’t a shifter and that’s her cousin, Zacharious. Knowing this fact makes Amillia wonder what all he knows, or better yet, what all he remembers.
Deep in a forest that no man can get to, in the southeast side of the world, is the place where it is possible to access other worlds from. There’s a reason they say no man who enters ever comes out and that no one knows what’s deep within it. As it’s known, it takes someone special to be able to travel between the worlds. It’s a long trip, one Amillia had just taken as well, but she knows what has to be done, and she headed back to this place in order to reach her final destination of Mystethikal.
Mystethikal is unlike any of the other worlds. The skies are always various shades of orange, red, pink, and purple. There are two suns there and just one moon, of course there’s a story behind that, but that’s for a different time. It’s not exactly one of the most peaceful worlds that exist, after all shifters are notorious for their ego’s, and having a world full of them is surely to create some kind of chaos and conflict eventually.
As soon as Amillia enters into the world, she’s surrounded by wolf shifters. She’s really starting to not like these beasts, after all, these are the shifters that Cole had chosen to get on his side for this war. Amillia’s first thoughts are that she’s screwed.
Just as she was preparing to fight off all these shifters, she hears a low growl and someone from the back of the group say “Mine.” She looks up but doesn’t see anyone straight away. Then, out of the shadows a very tall, very buff figure starts to make their way toward her. He’s huge! She knows she’s screwed now; this dude is about as big as Erik and Damian both put together.
The strange man spoke again, “Leave this one be, she’s mine!” He demands, he must be the leader because as soon as the words are out of his mouth, the rest of them bow and turn to leave them alone.
‘Well shit, this just got interesting,’ she thinks to herself.
