"It turned out really good!" I exclaimed admiring our model of the Eiffel Tower assembled just the way we wanted it.
"It turned out much better than I imagined." Harry agreed smiling.
"Glad we got this done." I sighed mentally. I looked at my fingers and they were all covered in ink and colored glue.
"Was it torturous like that?" he asked.
"What?" I asked confused by being distracted.
"Doing the job with me. Was it that bad, being in my company?" He asked, I thought the face he made was so cute that all I did was laugh.
"Of course not Harry. At first you were quite grumpy, let's be honest. But now you're reasonable..." I admitted.
"So... Will you agree to go out with me?" I widened my eyes, totally taken back by his proposal. Harry scratched his head, and looked to the side, looking nervous.
"Harry…" I started to speak but he cut me off.
"I get it! You don't want to go out with a troubled guy like me. Let me take this model to class tomorrow, I'll take you home now." He exclaimed picking up some things from the floor.
"Calm down... I don't think you're a problem, you're a person like any other, you're normal, I swear I'd go out with you. But I already have someone, you know. .." I looked deep into his eyes and gave him a comforting smile.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that. Forget what I said" He said completely disconcerted.
"It's okay. But there's something I want with you." I spoke and he looked at me confused, but soon the mocking look returned.
"Want to kiss me again?" he pedi with arched eyebrows.
"No, idiot!" Smile. "I want us to be friends."
"Clear." He shrugged. "Pretty friend." he said and winked at me. I slapped him lightly and started to pick up the messes on his bedroom floor.
After a few minutes we finished cleaning up our mess.
"Can I wash my hands?" I asked with my hands stiff from so much dirt.
"Yes, the bathroom is over there." He showed me a door next to the bedroom window.
Harry's room was overkill for me, it was almost the size of the downstairs part of my house. A larger-than-usual double bed, and everything in it was dark, gray, or black. I walked into the bathroom, which to my surprise was an average size, washed my hands and got out ready for him to take me home.
It was around seven in the evening, our work had taken hours to complete and please me and my colleague. But in the end we managed to leave him in a way that surprised us.
Now my mind revolved around getting home and waiting for dawn as soon as it could come. I was going to meet Julian, in fact he was going to kidnap me, as he said.
"It's delivered." Said Harry when he stopped the car in front of my house.
"Thanks for bringing me. See you tomorrow." I spoke and made a move to get out of the car.
"Wait. Are you okay?" he asked staring at me.
"Yes, I am. Don't I look good?" I asked him worried maybe my face was sagging or looking sick.
"It's just that you've been silent the whole way. You always talk to me and…" I cut him off.
"Nonsense Harry. I was just thinking. But I'm fine, thanks for worrying." I gave him a smile.
"So, see you tomorrow." He said.
"See you tomorrow." I answered and got out of the car.
I walked into the house and found my grandmother dozing in her armchair, a book in her lap and a cup on the coffee table. I walked up to her and caressed her beautiful face, I thought to myself: what would I do with my life if one day I didn't have her anymore?
I shook my head and pushed any kind of bad thoughts away. I also saw the sleeping pill box, she was having trouble again and so she had to take it I guess. I moved her lightly and she woke up immediately.
"Did something happen?" she asked scared.
"No... I just arrived. Are you alright?" I asked quietly.
"Yes, daughter. I'm going to bed, that armchair hurts my back." She said smiling.
"Did you take sleeping pills?" I asked.
"I was going to, I forgot. Get me some water." He asked me to get up.
"Here it is." I took the water and gave it to her along with the medicine.
"Don't run out of dinner okay? Good night my love." She said and went up to the room.
"Good night Grandma. I love you." I said and went up too.
I entered my room and went straight to the bathroom. I took a long hot shower, washed myself from head to toe.
I left the bathroom, put on a nightgown and a big sweatshirt over it, lay on my bed and waited for my kidnapper to come. A mixture of anxiety and happiness invaded me. It was still nine at night, so I ended up falling asleep.
At some point I woke up to warm lips kissing all over my body, moving up to stop on my face. I opened my eyes slowly, already imagining who it was.
His scent was there, that unique scent that no one else in the world had.
"Julian..." I whispered opening a smile.
"You smell so good..." He whispered back inhaling my scent. At that moment my intimacy was already throbbing. My heart was beating so hard and my body was hot.
"You really came." I spoke softly.
"Of course I do. I always mean what I say, young lady." He said and kissed me on the lips.
I was so glad he was there, he was right there with me. He wouldn't run away from me again. His kiss deepened making my breath hitch, his hands roamed my body and squeezed me, he bit my lower lip and sucked my tongue with lust.
"Does your heart always beat like this?" He asked whispering very close to my ear.
"He started with that a few days ago…" I replied and Julian gave a silent chuckle.
"Now you stay very quiet, I'll take you with me." He spoke softly.
I nodded and Julian took me in his arms.
"Grab my body tightly, let's go down through the window." He said and I followed his order. Like a baby in an adult's lap I stayed in his lap.
After we got down to the ground, Julian took my hand and we ran like two kids towards the car in the back street. The night was beautiful, the starry sky and a bright winter moon.
When we got in the car, Julian attacked me with several kisses that I'm sure were reciprocated.
"How was your day?" He asked after letting go of my lips.
"It was cool, I met my grandma's boyfriend and finished my job with Harry." I spoke excitedly.
"Good. That way you won't have to go up and down with him anymore." Julian said with a frown.
"That's where you're wrong... Harry and I are friends now, and I'll be going to his house a lot." I spoke calmly.
"At the!" he growled. "Your obligation to him you've already done, which was school work. Now there's no more reason. I don't want him near you." He exclaimed clearly irritated.
"What do you mean? You can't do that... I want to be his friend, I like him." I explained in a soft tone.
"You don't like him. You don't want him. And you won't be friends with him!" he raged.
"What did he do to you? He's good Julian, he's not like his family…" I tried to explain.
"Fuck! I don't fucking care. I just don't want him to get close to you. I know his intentions very well!" He yelled at me, instantly my eyes filled with tears, I never liked anyone yelling at me, it hurt so much for someone to do that.
"Shit!" He exclaimed looking at me with regret. "I'm sorry, please. I yelled at you, I'm sorry. But it's just that I can't control myself when I imagine another man touching you, you were very close to him... I go crazy just imagining it." He said trying to touch me but I moved away from his touch.
"You're not supposed to say who I'm supposed to hang out with…" I whispered crying. "And besides, I discovered things that might help you!"
"What did you discover?" he asked in a soft voice. But he didn't care too much.
"Harry's parents are named Brenda and Antonio Barriere." I spoke and saw a pale Julian suddenly in front of me.
