Chapter 12
When Leon entered the lab, he found that there was nothing special except a few Ark reactors and a stack of DC comics on Tony's desk.
Even Tony was not here.
""Tony?" He looked around,"Where are you?"
Leon's super hearing is not always on.
Just like Superman in the movie.
He has to concentrate and let his brain discard most of the external information in order to live in a quiet world.
Not getting a response, Leon tilted his ear slightly, looking for Tony's movement:"It turns out to be in the garage, but why does it sound a bit noisy?"
When Leon found Tony in the basement.
He looked like he had heavy dark circles under his eyes, but he was full of energy.
He was wearing mechanical shoes with exposed wires on his feet, holding the controllers in both hands, and directing those"little assistants.""
""Stupid, you continue to record, and Daidai, you move over there, right, right there, and you are responsible for putting out the fire."
Then Tony stood in the middle of his makeshift experimental platform and took a few deep breaths.
"OK, let's try it. First, enable 10% of the thrust and prepare for takeoff.……"
Tony shook his shoulders and took a deep breath to adjust his state:"Come on, three, two, one!"
He pressed the control device in his hand, and a strong jet of flame suddenly shot out from the iron shoes under his feet.
Swish!!
The fierce thrust shot Tony into the air.
Then he hit the ceiling heavily, making a thump, obviously it was a heavy hit.
""Oh!!" Tony cried out in pain and fell to the ground.
The intelligent mechanical arm next to him determined that the situation met the instructions and immediately released the fire spray.
"Oh, that must be painful." Leon looked at Tony covered in white spray, tilted his head back and sighed.
"Leon?" Tony turned his head when he heard the voice, his cheeks squeezed together in pain, and he twisted his shoulders on the ground,"Come and help me, I'm afraid my ribs are going to be broken."
"Here it comes... Maybe next time you can ask Daidai to prepare a crash pad for you." Leon stepped forward and lifted Tony onto the chair.
He glanced up and down and said,"Very good, it's just a skin injury, you can continue to do the extreme sports just now."
"That's not an extreme sport." Tony rolled his eyes,"That's me making the Mark II armor!"
"You mean your second set of armor is this pair of shoes? Do you want people to shoot at your shoes? Don't be ridiculous, these shoes are not Captain America's shield."Leon joked
"Of course not! I am now experimenting with the propulsion system. Once this step is completed, the efficiency will be greatly improved."
Tony immediately retorted, and did not forget to mock:"Of course, ordinary people like you with average grades basically can't understand the logic here."
Now it was Leon's turn to roll his eyes:"After all, I was admitted to Columbia University. Do you have some misunderstandings about ordinary people?"
"Oh? Really? There's nothing I can do about it. When I was your age, I had already graduated from MIT many years ago and had three doctorates from Cambridge. I really can't understand the feelings of ordinary people."
Tony waved his hand arrogantly:"But it should be similar. When you go to Columbia in the future, you will find that your teachers can't understand my armor either."
"I'm sorry, but my major in college was business, and my teacher probably understands the economic benefits of your armor."
Before Leon's awakened abilities, he could only develop in the direction of managing a company, and naturally applied for a business major in college.

He knocked on Tony's iron shoes:"And the past was the past, and the present is now. Don't forget what kind of ability I awakened."
"Ability, what ability? Isn't it just getting stronger by basking in the sun?" Tony was puzzled.
"It’s Superman’s ability!" Leon emphasized,"I have everything that Superman has!"
"So what? Are you going to confess to me that you are actually a Kryptonian, and yesterday your Kryptonian dad who has become a super artificial intelligence came to your house and asked you to put on red shorts to save the world?"
Tony said with an exaggerated expression:"Or your Kryptonian cousin received a signal from a spaceship and will come to arrest you tomorrow, so you come to me for help now?" Leon was speechless:"Tony, when did you have so many childish guesses? Of course I am an earthling. You took me for physical examinations so many times when I was a child, and you didn't know it?"
Leon was wearing.
Nineteen years ago, he turned into a baby and traveled to this world. By chance, he was adopted by the Starks.
So he is undoubtedly an earthling... although not the earth under his feet.
"Also, you've been reading too many DC comics recently! There's no DC darkness in our world!" Leon complained
"What do you want to say?" Tony tilted his head.
"I mean, Superman has a super brain, and so do I."
The super brain will allow him to make more achievements in engineering, and even reach the top very easily.
Lyon pointed at the iron shoes:"So now I can fully understand your research, and even surpass you."
"Surpass me?" Tony raised his chin,"Leon, this year's April Fool's Day has passed, you can save this joke for next year."
He said with empty eyes:"And I don't remember Superman having this ability. If he has a super brain, would he always rush up and punch the enemy in the comics?"
Leon smacked his lips:"Maybe... it's his super brain that tells him that when facing difficulties, he must first learn to believe in his super power?"
"Isn't that just a reckless brain?"Tony concluded,"So you still can't understand my armor."
Leon didn't want to argue anymore:"Stop! The meaningless argument ends here! People like you who only read half of the comics are the most annoying. Go and finish reading Superman's comics before you refute me!"
Without waiting for Tony to argue, he said directly:"You mortal wisdom, since you say that I can't understand your armor, do you dare to let me learn from you?"
Leon raised a finger:"It only takes one day, and your knowledge will become my knowledge"
"And in three days, I will create a better armor than yours!"
"What did you say?"
Tony was no longer sleepy.
What he couldn't stand the most was others' provocation in his professional field.
Especially when the provocation came from his stupid brother.
"This is the funniest joke I heard in 2008."
Tony jumped out of bed and looked directly into Leon's eyes as if the pain in his chest was gone.
"I accept your challenge."
He declared victory:"Mortal wisdom? Hmm? I will return this title to you in three days."
"Follow me."
He waved his hand, returned to the experimental site, and began to command the intelligent robotic arm.
"Daidai, go clean up the scene; Benben, go get the materials, and the rest of you, wait for me to design a new jet structure."
Leon squinted his eyes and looked at Tony, who was full of fighting spirit, and his desire to win also burned.
"Jarvis, send all the knowledge about exoskeleton to my Stark Pad. I want to understand Tony's design within half an hour."
""Okay, Master Leon." Jarvis agreed first.
Then he asked again:"But, Master Leon, do you still remember the purpose of your visit to Tony and Ms. Pepper's previous request?"
"Pepper? What happened to Pepper? Ignore her for now."
Leon twisted his arm:"Today I will let Tony know what a super brain is."
