Akash POV

Today evening I went into my house only to find it empty. Because my angel is not with me anymore, without her its like living hell.

"Akash, come and have some snacks" Shanthi maa called.

"No maa, I am not hungry "I tried to leave but maa stopped me.

"Akash, I know you regret your action. I know you better than yourself, so tell me exactly what is your problem?" She asked me.

"I know that you need someone to talk to at this time, especially you need your mom" maa paused.

"But you can talk to me. If you consider me as your maa, tell me son. We are friends, right? Just like we are when you were a kid. You can tell your friend anything" I gulped down the pain in my throat and blinked twice.

"Maa, there is something pricking me but I don't know how to express my feelings. I want Dharani maa, I am so confused" I finally said it out.

"I want to see those gorgeous big doe eyes and hear that angelic voice. I tried a lot to forget her, but she is like living inside me, like she is part of me. I can't forget her. I missed the care she used to show me, the way she woke me up everyday and makes amazing breakfast for me. I miss her maa, her handmade food, her voice. I miss her so much Maa. I don't know what this feeling is. Even you also not talking to me nicely. I knew I deserved it! For what I did to Dharani, I deserve more than that, but I can't stop these feelings. I can't stop" Maa just sat there silently, listening to me carefully.

"What is this feeling maa? I don't know. Please answer me, why I am feeling like this? Answer me maa please help your son" I cried hugging her.

"Akash, you fall in love with Dharani" I gasped. The ground under my feet shaken.

What? Love? No, I don't love her.

"No Maa, I am not in love with Dha" but maa cut me off.

"Yes, you love her son, but you don't want to accept it"

"Akash, answer these questions correctly" I looked up at her again, curious about what she was going to ask.

"Do you care for Dharani?"

"Yes, I care for her, extremely" I answered honestly.

"Ok, so do you want to spend your whole life with your angel?", she asked.

"Of course maa, I want to" I said. I so badly want her in my arms now!

"Do you trust her?" I immediately nodded my head, yes. She smiled at me.

"See you care for her, you want to live your whole life with her and you trust her. This is called love Akash. Accept it beta, You fall in love with your wife" maa said with a smile.

I know that my heart flutters whenever I think of Dharani, I like when I hold her hand. I love when I hold her tightly in my arms. I feel like I'm in heaven when she's with me. I want to feel that way till I die. I never want to let her go.I love being in her arms.

God, I am in LOVE. I love my wife! I LOVE DHARANI, I LOVE MY ANGEL.

My eyes widened at my own realization. I love her, I loved her all this while. I stood up from the chair and maa looked at me confused.

"Maa, I love you so much! Thank you!" I said hugging her and giving a kiss on her cheek. Maa laughed and hugged me back.

"God bless you son. I want to see your smile always" maa said and blessed me keeping her hands on my head. I smiled at her.

"Maa, I need to go. Bye!" I left the living room taking my car keys from the table. I walked quickly to my car with a smile on my face.

I can't just stop it. I drove as fast as I can to Dharani's house. I know I had to be with my angel.

I can't live without her.

I need her for survival.

I need her in my arms now.

I want to wipe her tears away and make her smile.

But I don't think she'll come back to me now, but I don't want to give up on her, on us that easily.

Soon I reached her house, I couldn't help but feel tensed.

I love her so much, but I made a huge mistake. She'll never take me back.

NO! NO! I'll try everything with all my best power to bring her back.

I pressed the door bell with my shivering hands.

As she opened the door. She saw me with fear, her beautiful doe eyes wide.

That look. I never want to see that look ever again. I hate myself for making her fear me to this extent. I need to make everything right.

"Won't you invite me inside, darling?" I asked her and dashed inside her house.

"What are you doing here Akash?" Angel asked me.

"I want you back Dharani" I said, she widened her big doe eyes.

"I am not coming with you, to that hell ever again!" she screamed with fear.

"I'm sorry Angel. I'm so sorry. I'll do whatever it takes for you to forgive me. I can't live without you. I'll cherish you and love you just like you deserve love in your life. Just forgive me one last time please. I know I made a huge mistake, but I just can't think of a life without you. I'll do anything and everything for you, for us. But please, give me a single chance. I'm sure you won't regret giving me a chance." I whispered while my cheeks were getting wet.

There I finally let my heart out. I said I love her. She deserves to know that I love her, I love her with all my heart.

Dharani Pov

"I'll cherish you and love you just like you deserve love in your life, Just forgive me one last time please." he whispered.

Wait! What? Akash loves me?

What kind of sick joke is that?!

He's crying.

Amongst all the pain, sadness, anger, I my heart aching when I saw his tears.

I've never seen him crying.

He looked like a boy who wanted something he couldn't get, a little kid whose candy has been snatched away. I can't see him like this. It's killing me. I took two steps ahead and was about to hug him when I remembered. I begged too, I cried too when he brutally slapped me, and he never paid any heed to my pleads.

But why is it paining seeing him cry?

'Because you love him' my heart said.

But he don't deserve my love, he broke my heart into million pieces. He can't even fix it, in fact no one can fix my heart. Its beyond repair.

"I love you angel" he said and broke my thoughts.

"No! You are lying! There must be some reason behind why you want me again. You want me to torture again. Even if what you said is true, I won't give you a chance!" I said angrily and fold my hands near my chest.

"Angel" he whispered my name. I slowly looked up at him.

"Don't just don't call me angel, I am no one angel" I said to​ him.

"Yes you are an Angel , MY ANGEL,my mom send you to me. I will never hurt you. Please give me second chance, I will never disappoint you. Please angel!" he pleaded me.

"Please understand Akash that I can't give you a second chance. I just want divorce from you nothing else" I said not looking at his eyes. I can't look into his eyes and tell him. It hurts me.

He suddenly pulled and hugged me tightly making me gasp, almost as if he was afraid to let me go and kissed my forehead.

"I can't. I can't live without you Angel" he whispers making me cry again. I felt his pain this time.

"Why does everyone I love leave me?" I sobbed out. What's wrong with me?" I cried.

"No Angel. Nothing is wrong with you my Angel. It's me, okay. I was weak and I had my own trust issues to fight and I thought I was doing the right thing by hurting you. It was never about you, Angel. It was about me," he tried to explain me.

"Even in my childhood I wanted someone who would never leave me, no matter how difficult things could get. But unfortunately there was no a one for me. My parents weren't there with me.

Then your alliance came and I thanked God that finally I'll get someone to love me and care for me. I finally found someone I could love, more than anyone or anything in this world" I sobbed.

"You didn't just break my heart. You ripped it out Akash" I cried.

"I know sorry will not do anything, so I will not apologize but can you give me one chance, please?" Akash's midnight black eyes looked at me hopefully.

"I want to make things right. With you. With us. Give me a chance. I'll do better."

"I can't..." I whispered brokenly.

"I'm going to win you back, Angel. I won't stop until you forgive me and believe me, that I do love you. I made a big mistake of letting you go, I'm not going to do it again. I'll never let you slip from my hands again. I love you so much angel" he said.

"Now that I finally found that my mom send you in my life, I'm going to do everything I can, to keep you there in my life."

"I don't think I can ever get over my past, what you did to me..." I whispered dejectedly.

"Give me a chance... Give us a chance" he asked me.

"Why should I give you chance?" I asked him.

"Because I love you so much Angel" he whispered and kiss my forehead.

I opened my mouth to say something but I hear Avinash voice from behind.

"How dare you bastard? Leave my sister alone" we turned to see my brother Avinash at the doorstep fuming.

"Avinash.." I said. He looked at us.

"What are you doing in my home? Leave her" He shouted at Akash.

"Avinash listen, I know you are angry. But Please trust me. I am not going to hurt my wife. I love her and I want her back in my life."

"Wife? Shut the hell up, you bastard..Just leave my sister alone" he said angrily.

"Avinash please listen to me once" Akash pleaded.

But Avinash fists his palm in anger. He moves towards Akash and holds him by his collar. He started punching him shocking me. I tried to stop them. I cannot see Akash getting hurt. I don't know why its paining me. I run and tried to stop bhai.

"Please stop brother, leave him" I shouted on top of my lungs.

Akash didn't utter a single word and let Avinash do what he want. He threw Akash out of house. Blood was oozing out of his lips and forehead.

"Please Angel, don't stop Avinash. Let him do whatever he wants. I deserve it Angel" Akash said wiping his blood from his lips.

"Avinash please give me one chance. I will never hurt your sister. You got one chance from your sister right? Why can't I get a chance? Please Avinash, just one chance ,that's all I ask for" Akash pleaded.

"So that you can humiliate her once again? Thank you very much but no Mr. Akash, my sister is neither your slave nor your toy" he said furiously.

"My Angel will neither be a slave nor a toy to me." Akash replied furiously to bhai.

"You know what elders say Akash? Once betrayed, an experience and twice betrayed, a fool." Avinash said to Akash.

"So I have no chance at all?" Akash voice was barely audible but I heard him perfectly.

I remember my mom's words, everyone deserves a second chance.

"I think I said exactly that to you, Mr.Akash" Avinash pointed at him.

"But I will not give up, I promise. And this time I will fix everything without messing up. I know I will have to work a lot bu-" Bhai cut him off.

"Save it, Akash. Your words are falling on deaf ears. Soon we will meet you in court for divorce case" Avinash said shut the door in Akash face.

"Dharani leave that idiot words. I am going to lawyer's office to prepare divorce papers. We will send it to him soon. Don't take stress and go take some rest" I nodded while going to my bedroom.

I closed my bedroom door, I was crying badly. I was lost in his thoughts, tears were flowing through down eyes.

Akash's love confession, his words were replaying in my mind again and again.

'I love you Angel, I love you so much.'

'Give me a second chance... Give us a chance.'

Can I give him second chance?

Can I get heaven life from him?

Or will I again experience hell?

Does he really love me?
