ALINA
"You do realize you have a lot to tell me, right?" Amelia asked me in a whisper. She glanced at Damian, who was walking behind us, trying hard to pretend he didn't understand every word Amelia or I said. "I don't know what to say," I said, shrugging.
Amelia narrowed her eyes and guided me to the pack house where Mr. Tally was staying as a guest. "Oh, I beg you. If nobody had interrupted your lovely breakfast, our fine alpha would probably have pounced on you the way he eats you with his eyes," Amelia said mockingly, turning to Damian with a grin, then giving me meaningful looks to throw.
I must admit that she is probably right. You can not imagine, how hot you look in my clothes And I'm just imagining how hot you look without her. Outraged, I turned my face to Damian, who eyed me with a grin. His gaze slowly wandered down and up my body.
Then he licked his lips with relish. His eyes glittered with pleasure. I quickly turned back to Amelia, trying to ignore the tingling on my neck. Just like the hot feeling that had rushed over my body during Damian's assessment.
Amelia opened the front door of the large pack house and then crossed a narrow hallway. We followed her up a sweeping staircase and finally entered a large suite furnished with a double bed, a sofa, table and chairs and a TV. The rooms were embellished with paintings, portraits and landscapes, and a large fluffy carpet. Next to a bookshelf was a floor lamp, which gave only a sparse light, but was decorated with beautiful old-fashioned patterns. Mr. Tally was standing in front of a painting with his back to us. He didn't seem to have noticed our presence. Damian gently pushed me aside and then took several steps towards the headmaster.
"Mr. Tally, we complied with your request and-" The older man turned around immediately and didn't waste a single more look at Damian. Instead, he swept past him and then stopped in front of me. "Alina, my child, are you okay?" I smiled at him.
"Yes, I am very well." He looked me uncertainly in the eyes like he was looking for some indication that I was really fine too. I smirked inwardly and then crossed the last space between us before cradling the little man in my arms. It was really touching that he was so worried about me and I felt like we both needed each other now in this village full of werewolves.
After a while we broke apart. Mr. Tally quickly wiped away a tear from under his eye before clearing his throat and taking a few steps back. I smiled at the scenario. Then I looked up and met Damian's eyes, which had observed what was happening closely.
He seemed pleased that I had someone I really trusted.
It does, very much so. My smile grew even wider, as I heard Damian's words lovingly in my head. "It's good that she's actually fine," Mr. Tally interrupted our eye contact. "Nevertheless, I would like to know why Alina was unconscious for so long." He fixed Damian with his eyes.
Maybe we should tell them.
What? Damian's head shot up in surprise. Only Amelia and Mr Tally. I trust him and he should know. And Amelia will keep squeezing me until I tell her. Besides, she already makes sense of it all. Maybe you're right. After all, Jack knows it too. Still, we shouldn't tell more people. After all, this is our business and I don't want others to interfere. Jack is my brother; Amelia is your girlfriend and Mr. Tally... well. He can probably find out too.
"Very nice," I said loudly. I closed the door to the suite and then looked at Damian invitingly. "Like me?"
"Of course you. After all, it was your fault in a way that I was unconscious. If you hadn't pushed me so hard, my body wouldn't have reacted so intensely." Damian snorted. Mr. Tally looked between us in confusion while Amelia's eyes widened in astonishment. "Don't say now..." she said. "Yes," Damian finally said and suddenly appeared next to me. Then he looked at me and grinned smugly. "We are soul mates."
"I knew it!" Amelia yelled while Mr. Tally stared at us wide-eyed. Then, calmly and matter-of-factly, he began to explain: "It's not possible. Humans and werewolves can-" "Not be soul mates. Yes. We know that too. Nevertheless, that's the way it is," Damian said. "You're not allowed to mark her."
"Excuse me?" Damian asked calmly. But I knew that this calm wasn't real. Damian had said himself that he wouldn't mark me wanted, for fear of the repercussions. However, being prescribed by another person was something Damian disliked, as did I. "Alpha, you must not tag Alina. That could have devastating consequences, after all she's only human."
"Now listen to me carefully." Damian approached Mr. Tally with slow steps menacingly. "I tolerated that you made total terror here. But instead of sending you away, I allowed you staying here. And now you claim the right to tell me how to deal with my soulmate?"
"Damian, calm down," I said softly, looking at Mr. Tally, who was trying to hide how intimidated the century-old Alpha was "No Alina, that's really going too far." I groaned in annoyance and pulled him away from Mr. Tally, which was really hard as the guy weighed what felt like a ton. Besides, it's ultimately my decision how things will play out between us. After all, you knew before I did and only told me now." "Considering how sensitive you were to that, I guess I did everything right." "Oh, sorry if I don't believe you, if some random wolf means, he would be my soul mate," I replied sarcastically.
"Um guys, we're still there too. Just FYI." Amelia waved her arms exaggeratedly to get attention. "Or I'm leaving now. I have to help my family. But we both Missy are far from done," she said, looking at me. I mumbled, "Yay." After Amelia left the room, Damian started sniffing the air. I stared at him, aghast he smelled confused in the air for something." What's the matter now?" Damian didn't react.
Instead he continued to sniff and walked towards Mr. Tally. When he reached the poor man, he lowered his head and took a deep breath in. Mr. Tally looked at me for help, however, I just shrugged. Damian probably wouldn't just start sniffing like that. And indeed. He reached into Mr. Tally's jacket pocket and pulled out a purple, mashed herb. The Headmaster pursed his lips and watched as Damian realized what he was holding in his hand.
"This is krecanos herb," was the only thing he said. I also went to Damian and took the krecanos from him. "I haven't seen anything like that for ages. The only poison against werewolves. If it is crushed into a drink, it leads to a paralysis of all limbs for several days. The length of the paralysis depends on the power of the werewolf." I looked at Mr Tally.
"Where did you get that?" He squared his shoulders. "My family has been growing it for generations. It's a small bed in my garden. So I picked it myself." "And why do you have it here?" Damian asked, carefully wiping his hand on his trousers.
"Well, I assumed the worst. And if such a case had happened-" "You would have smeared the krecanos on a werewolf's face. If possible in the mouth or in the nose, so that the corrosive effect buys you some time." I looked in amazement at the old herb, which many years ago had been largely destroyed by the werewolves so that this threat was also eliminated. Damian shook his head. "You really don't make it easy for me to like you." I grinned meaningfully. "Well, I think he did everything right. After all, he just wanted to be able to defend himself. Also, you have to like him, or at least respect him. After all, so do I."
"I certainly won't sleep in the same bed with you!" I looked at Damian indignantly, who just rolled his eyes. "It's a huge bed and we probably won't even touch. You could sleep on the sofa." I knew he was only joking since I saw the amused twinkle in his eyes, but I decided to go for it.
"Yeah, okay, I'll do it. Still better than sleeping in the same bed with you." I grinned and raised an eyebrow. However, my amusement faded when I saw how my remark offended Damian. I sighed and walked towards him. Then I took his face in my hands.
"You really are an idiot. That was just for fun, Damian. I'm just not sure if we're that far. I mean, it's kind of a small step." He immediately looked at me in relief. "If you mean that we're going to do something that you don't agree with or that you're not ready for, then I can reassure you. I would never do anything against your will." I patted his head and flicked his nose lightly.
"I know that." "So we sleep in one bed?" "No." He groaned and threw himself up with his arms outstretched Arms and legs on the bed. An action that didn't fit the image of the old, powerful alpha at all.
"What are you doing to me, my dear? Why do you have to torment me like that?" Tormented, he clutched his chest while I just rolled my eyes and laughed. After my conversation with Mr. Tally, Damian had shown me around the village and introduced me to some of his people. That's how I found out that in the Shadow Pack there was a small group of volunteer people, mostly women, who did the rearing of the young. They gave them a home and cared for them. There was even a kind of elementary school. There were many couples in the pack who lived together out of love for each other. However, very few of them were soul mates.
They lived with the certainty that one of them would find his mate and then desert the other. Because companions were the most important thing for werewolves. But there were also a few soul mates in this pack. Damian told me about his pack doctor in this context, but unfortunately I haven't met him yet. I could even remember two other soul mates. It wasn't that long ago that I had connected them.
That evening, Damian, Jack and I had dinner, with Jack blabbing at us the whole time, Damian laughing every now and then and I just watching in silence. It had been a nice feeling to sit at the table with them. As if I belonged. Now Damian and I were standing in his room arguing about who should sleep where. While Damian thought we could sleep peacefully in one bed, I preferred to tease him a bit by refusing.
Damian thinking I was doing this because of my innocence only made it more entertaining for me. I started to grin wickedly while moving towards him with slow movements and finally carefully sitting down on his stomach. In addition, I made meandering movements on his chest with my fingers. Damian closed his eyes and completely relaxed under my touch. The tension left his muscles and a pleasant calm settled over his entire body. I leaned forward a little further and now breathed light kisses on his neck. I pushed up the hem of his shirt and traced his abs with my fingertips.
Damian sighed and I flinched when his hands came down on my butt. When he was about to remove them and apologize, I placed a finger on his lips and kissed a little further down the back of his neck. when i started With my tongue caressing the back of his neck, he moaned in pleasure and grabbed my hips to drag me off him and to the other end of the bed. While he was still breathing heavily trying to understand what had just happened, I ran a finger playfully over my lips.
Damian watched the movement in fascination before fixing a spot on the bed, shaking his head. "You really want to drive me insane, don't you?" I shrugged, but couldn't help a small triumphant grin. "As I said before: I have you completely in my hands, my dear Alpha!" Damian smiled devotedly and then sighed. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but you're probably right. I'll turn to butter in your hands when you say Another of the many unanswered questions. However, it made me think of something else that I should definitely do again. I sat up in bed before descending completely. Then I looked at Damian and was like,
"Okay, we'll sleep in one bed if-" "Yes!" I smiled shaking my head. The man could really act like a teenager in love. "If you leave me alone in the room for an hour." He looked at me confused. "Why that?" I raised my eyebrows. "You really want to know? Well, there are certain things about women that you just-"
"Stop! Okay, all right. I'll have a little chat with Jack." i grinned "Have fun!" Still looking a bit confused he said: " But I'll be back in an hour." "Yeah."
"Really-" "Damian, we're in the same house and you'll be back in an hour. Go on now." With that, I shoved him to the door, shoved him into the hallway, and then closed the door again. Rolling my eyes, I leaned against the dark wood and listened to Damian's footsteps on the creaking stairs. Then I scooted to the patio and "Hello, my friend"
In the shimmering moonlight and with silver shining hair I wove the many individual threads of a soul connection between two werewolves.
With a satisfied smile I looked at my work and released the connection to the moon. May the two find each other quickly! Once again there was only one soul connection I could make. Too few werewolves were born. I used to be able to connect several wolves every day and today, although I hadn't made contact with the moon for several days and today was a full moon, there were only two werewolves that I could give the opportunity to be happy together.
I felt the glow in my hair diminish and my direct connection to the moon disappeared. Nevertheless, I stayed a little longer and bathed in his attention. Until the door to the room opened and a male voice said, "The hour is up." May the two find each other quickly! Once again there was only one soul connection I could make. Too few werewolves were born. I used to be able to connect several wolves every day and today, although I hadn't made contact with the moon for several days and today was a full moon, there were only two werewolves that I could give the opportunity to be happy together.
