Complications II
Inside a tree.
"Unbelievable."
The princess gasped as soon as the darkness was swept away like the cover of a book. Twas like a trance to her. All she knew was that they were in a tree, but it didn't look like it. At least, not what she had expected.
There was a blue and crystal lake few metres away from her, but no building in sight. Aside the lake, the whole place was surrounded by different types of beautiful trees. And a green pasture tantamount to a lawn, spread across the space the water was generous enough to spare.
Then she noticed Vulcan and a super beautiful lady standing before the lake and obviously arguing.
Twas quite strange that the lady no longer had hoofs for legs. She was as every lady would look, but she was more than beautiful.
Her beauty seemed to be reflected or mirrored by the body of water neighboring the two. The gentle breeze which crashed against the lips of the water, did its best in emphasizing her beauty.
Her hair was golden and her cleavages canvassed by the white and flowing gown she was putting on. The view from the distance wasn't enough. The princess walked closer.
She didn't really care what the both of them had been talking about. She interrupted,
"Why take such ugly form when you have an alternative?"
Her face keen on the lady as she walked closer. She avoided the remonstrating face of Vulcan, knowing that he would have a pick.
Aynea turned to the princess and said,
"Aynea be fine in the tree but outside be wierd."
There was pain in her well-cut round cum charming face. The princess got to her and put her palm to Aynea's cheek caressing it,
"I know how cruel nature could be. It had cost me a lot too."
Aynea put her palm on the back of the Princess's hand on her cheek. She pressed it closer. Her palm felt very soft on the Princess's hand. The princess shuddered and felt a current course through her at the meeting.
Then Aynea said,
"Aynea be tell you. Your baby be survive and be powerful. Believe Aynea."
The princess nodded her head. Suddenly, Vulcan took his turn of the interruption,
"I guess that will be all. Can I get back to what I was saying?"
His eyes running through the face of the princess. The princess expected him to continue but he didn't. She got the idea of it all and shot,
"You must be joking to think that I will excuse the both of you."
Vulcan shook his head in frustration and looked back at Aynea.
"What was that supposed to mean, eh? Why would you just pull us into this tree without our consent? Now get us out of this place now?!"
He threatened but the Princess as usual interrupted,
"Isn't that what you've been telling her before I interrupted? And seriously was that what you wanted to hold back from me?"
Vulcan couldn't hold back his sentiment,
"Go fetch the water you've been pining for, woman. This matter has nothing to do with you else you would get your cut of it."
The princess didn't know what to say to him. She glared at him and walked past them towards the lake to fill her waterskin. She was lucky to had tucked it under her gown.
"Aynea be want her house. Give Aynea her house and Aynea be take you out."
Vulcan was at the verge of frustration but he knew too well that his chances against Aynea was very slim,
"And how do you suggest I give you your house when I'm held a prisoner in another tree?"
"Aynea be give you a choice. If you be take it, you be know what to do."
Vulcan didn't make a sense from what she was saying. He didn't even take his chances of considering the beauty of the place.
"What choice do you speak of then?"
Aynea sighed and looked away from him towards the princess who was drinking from her waterskin.
She looked back at him, locking her eyes with his. He didn't know what she was thinking and didn't want to.
"You be stay here for tree days. Aynea be stayed under the tree for three days."
"You must be joking."
Vulcan snapped, regretting that she was a lady and he wouldn't want to hurt her. Though he knew that even if he had the chance or guts, she was no cakewalk.
"Aynea be joke to you before?"
Her face now long, owning up to what she had said. Vulcan knew that he wasn't close to getting his way around the whole shit.
"And after the three days what happens then?"
Aynea made a facial expression he couldn't explain. Then she said,
"Let the three days be go first."
Vulcan couldn't take it anymore,
"You think I'm joking right? You will let me leave here now or you would have it the worst way."
His eyes fiery and rage pacing his face. Aynea chuckled at his reaction and shot,
"Fight Aynea?"
Her face lit by the seeming ego. She seemed to be enjoying it.
"If that is the only option that will get us out of this place, why not?"
He said, taking a peek at the princess who was now standing with her back to the lake, facing the two of them.
As soon as their eyes met (Vulcan and the princess), she took an advantage of it.
"What if I don't want to go with you?"
The Princess said walking towards him and Aynea.
"Don't be foolish, lady. If you're not thinking of yourself, think of your baby."
His face tossed aside, trying to emphasize his point, as well as anticipate her response.
"Humans will always be humans. Don't be scared for me. Be scared for your old face and unkempt beards."
"You don't mean that?"
He said, trying to read her expression. But instead, she owned up to the stance.
"And what if I do?"
He shook his head and began to walk towards the portal,
"You'll regret it."
He didn't look back at the two. At least he would try to get himself out of the place. He couldn't believe that the princess could be that... Whatever.
