Before a Cave.
~Prium~
"This must be it."
Twas more of a convincing statement than an expression. She was all alone, standing before the enormous cave. She stood there for a while looking from the mouth of the cave to the very end from the right then to the left.
"What if this is a trick? What if no one is here? How did I even get to find this place?"
She kept on arguing with her instinct, as the wandering winds swept past her, fallen but dried leaves. She heard the call of a raven and tried to figure out from where twas calling but she missed.
She suddenly heard the snapping of tree behind her. She spun around at once. She looked towards the direction she was sure the sound came from. She was lucky, there was a raccoon eating an egg.
"An egg?"
Her eyes widened.
"From where did it get an egg?"
She argued.
"Shouldn't it be eating a frog instead?"
Her voice became unnecessarily loud. And at once, before her eyes, the egg in both hands of the raccoon metamorphosed into a frog.
"What!"
She exclaimed looking away immediately in shock.
"How did that happen?"
She struggled to place it. But when she looked up again at the branch on which the raccoon was, twas no longer there.
"Where did it go?"
The gloom of confusion spread further over her wits, clouding her sense of judgement.
"Petty things seem to intrigue you than the reason that brought you here."
A sudden voice came from behind her. She spun around again. It seemed as though someone was messing with her.
"Who's there?"
She asked not sure. Nothing came.
"Twas from the cave."
She muttered.
"Yes, the voice came from inside."
She affirmed and moved closer to the mouth of the cave. Then she stopped suddenly,
"What if it's a death hole? What if I'm being lured into a death end?"
She took two steps backwards, sieving her options.
"Doubts are even inclusive."
The voice came again from the cave.
"Who are you?"
She called again but nothing came. She gave up the struggle and made into the cave, her heart in her mouth. Crazy palpitations capable of breaking her chest open, spittling her titties.
As she stepped into the cave, twas illuminated with blue rays of light. The cave was rather too neat for typical caves, for example, compared to the one she'd had once lived in with her father and Ayla.
And up ahead of her in the plain and lone open space was a youth, fully grown, bare back with hard torso, seated with his back to her on a mat, with legs tucked into each other in a yoga style.
She took thoughtful steps as she fastened towards the mystery guy facing the fountain of blood, dripping from a cut out but sharp rock reaching from the end of the cold wall opposite him.
Surrounding him was a circle of fire, yet he wasn't sweating.
"Who are you?"
She chewed the usual again as soon as she got to him. He turned suddenly to her and was already on his feet.
At first, he was 6`1" with pointed chin and smooth face, hazel eyes and fine jaws. Soft lips and blue eyes. But suddenly, he changed into Vulcan, then Hava, then Ivan, then an old woman, then a lady dressed in wierd costumes, then an old witch stirring the pot of cauldron, then a priest dressed in several sacred clothes, then a king with a fan in his hand, then back to his old self.
"Depends on who you want me to be."
His thick and resounding voice came. She admired his texture and his form.
"That's wierd."
She muttered.
"Weird indeed. Sit."
He tossed his head to her back but she argued,
"Sorry, I can't sit on the floor and it isn't actually necessary. Let's get to business."
"Why would you have to sit on the floor?"
He shot, looking past her. She argued,
"But you don't have a --"
She looked behind her but held back the remaining words. There was already a chair behind her. She gasped.
"How easy is it for you to do all that!"
His face folded into a sheet of suppressed smile.
"I think you're the best man for this job."
She settled in the chair and watched him pretend as though he wanted to sit on the air, but then a chair appeared behind him and he settled in.
"Humans say a lot of thing."
He replied, the smile still intact. She dared,
"Since you're all powerful and pretty magical, you sure should know why I am here right?"
He allowed a temporary scoff to cloud the smile as he looked away to the cold wall then back to her. He leaned well into the chair and sat up. Then he crossed his leg. Point in time he crossed his legs, he transformed into Athena,
"Isn't this why you've come?"
"Unbelievable!"
She exclaimed, her eyes almost going to pop out of her socket. He put back down his leg and he was back into his real self.
"Could you change back into Athena and follow me to my land now? You'll act as the true Athena and turn the people against her. I believe she's a witch and no Athena."
He looked again towards the cold wall. She wasn't sure what he was doing.
"I'll tell you, first. The lady you seek to bring down is Athena and not a witch. That you should know. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't do your bididngs if you're ready to give it what it takes?"
As he finished talking, she picked,
"What do you want in return, Sex? I heard that that was what you took from my sister the last time she came to you."
He stood up and walked towards her.
"I realized that when I have sex with mortals, I end up giving more to them than taking. Hence, I quit that."
"So what do you want?"
She pushed an unwanted lump down her throat. He turned from her and returned to the seat which changed immediately.
"You'll give me your womb or the heart of a lion."
She stood up at once, all raged.
"You should had said that you can't do it, instead of hide under the shade of unreasonable price."
He stood up again and stretched his left arm towards the door,
"Show yourself out."
And at that, the chair under her booties vanised and she fell on her bum, her bones wept. She groaned and struggled to her feet.
"And why didn't you tell me that you came with friends?"
"What friends?"
She bit the words, ogling him. He tossed his head towards the mouth of the cave. She turned and saw Miargos and another man with him.
"You? What are you doing here?"
"Think properly then return."
She heard the Sorcerer say. Before she could turn to him again, she felt herself floating in the air, pushed by an unknown force towards the mouth of the cave.
The force let her go at the mouth of the cave and she almost broke her neck, but Miargos came to her aid and she fell on him instead.
"Get your filthy hands off me."
She kicked him in the thighs then stood up. She hurried through the path through which she had come. She didn't even spare a glance back.
"Prium wait."
Miargos called at her but she didn't seem to care.
