Fool Miargos, Fool Him!
Night.
"It's a wonder how quickly you returned from the game hunting."
Vulcan complemented, keeping his voice as low as he could. The stillness of the note permeated the room for a while as the golden rays which lit the room seemed to respond.
He was seated on his bed, the Nymph on hers, while Prium was lying. Twas their dinner time but Prium had only had a little bite of the meat. Vulcan had been ignoring her. He wanted to see how long he could go doing that.
The Nymph smiled at his question and threw in his face,
"The ways of the Nymphs are odd to mortals."
Vulcan made a joke of it though there were a bazillion meanings he could read to it.
"And how'd you come about this room?"
Vulcan teased again. He sure knew how mysterious Nymphs could be but he was doing all for Prium, probably she would be delighted and hop on the discourse.
Twas kinda hard for him to ignore her.
"Your daughter should ask those questions not you, Vulcan."
The Nymph said. Vulcan sighed and looked towards the direction of Prium,
"And since she wouldn't, does no harm to ask on her behalf. And seriously, didn't get to ask lots of questions back in the world of fantasy. We just saw all happened."
He stood up from his bed and walked to Prium's. The beds were on the floor of the cave, but the floor had been transformed into a marbled counterpart.
He got to her bed and sat next to her. She was lying in the middle. He sat at the edge. Her bed was opposite Ayla's.
"What's the problem, baby?"
He asked, choking his tone with concern as best as he could. Prium still didn't move.
"She probably is thinking about giving Miargos a chance. He's such a nice guy."
Prium sat up suddenly at that and shot at Ayla, seemed like she had been waiting for that moment dearly,
"Like you're thinking of laying with my Father."
"Woah."
Ayla exclaimed. Vulcan made a stance immediately,
"Don't be like that, Prium. And you seriously don't tell me who or who not to lay with. I'm your father not other way round."
Prium shot her father a glare, tossing her head up in that, are-you-serious manner, jealousy stalking her tone,
"It's now gotten to that now? Left home to have you say that to me? Just ridiculous, father. Just ridiculous."
She stood up from the bed and began to walk towards the mouth of the cave into the jaw of darkness. Then she heard Ayla call,
"Maybe I should just tell him that you --"
Prium turned immediately and cut Ayla's word short in a scream, breathing heavily,
"Don't you dare, bitch!"
Vulcan was absolutely left in the dark of it all but he couldn't help but chant,
"Woah... What the devil is happening?"
"Nothing."
Prium rolled her eyes at her father and turned to walk out again, then she heard Ayla again,
"Your daughter is afraid to tell you that she --"
Prium couldn't help but come tumbling at Ayla. She fell on her and force her palm on Ayla's mouth. Ayla was laughing.
"Try that again and I'll strangle you."
Prium knew that Ayla might deem that an empty threat because she was a Nymph, but she bet to show her hell. Or a mini version of it.
Vulcan stood up and folded his arms over his chest. Prium stood up from Ayla.
"Anyone care to tell me what is happening?"
His voice keen and demanding. His eyes picking each of the lady at occasion.
Prium turned from him and walked outta his presence towards the mouth of the cave.
She stood at the mouth not caring what might happen to her. She could feel the breath of the snoring darkness on her skin. It crept all over her skin down her stomach to between her thighs making her shudder in fear.
Yet she stood there. The moon was doing its best in the azure but that didn't just seem to be enough. Then it seemed as though she heard an unusual movement but she wasn't sure.
Twas a forest and few animals were bound to move. Twas their home. So, nothing to be scared of.
Suddenly, she felt a hand covering her mouth, then the other hand pulled her into the cave. Twas Ayla.
She had one of her fingers on her lips as soon as she let Prium free. Vulcan too gave Prium the do-cooperate kinda stare. She wondered what was wrong though she couldn't make a question.
Then Ayla beckoned that the three of them come together and make a circle. The three held unto one another, Prium's right arm wrapped firmly round her father's waist.
The both looked at Ayla as she began to move her lips gently in inaudible mutters. Prium noticed that her father was staring too much at Ayla's lips and squeezed his rib side. He looked at her and shook his head.
Then at once, the inn of the cave was plunged into thickness, such darkness capable of turning you on. Such creeping darkness which reaches for every part of your body.
Then the three of them dispersed. The gloom had swallowed them.
Soon came hurrying steps towards the mouth of the cave. Five men dressed in robes. The first man had a net in his hand. The other a sac, the other a spear and the remaining two torches.
Those with torches entered firstly into the cave and the gloom was swallowed by the rays of the torches.
"Did you deprive us of sleep for nothing, Miargos?"
The fellow with spear entered pacing the empty cave which was in ruins. The place looked unkempt and stunk the hell.
"I swear I saw the three of them."
Miargos paced the room confused. He sure didn't know what to think.
"I knew the mate was sick when he said he saw Vulcan alive. Someone we beheaded."
The man with net raved. But Miargos wouldn't be mute,
"We can go to his house and confirm that his daughter isn't there. They're here somewhere. I made sure to see that they were in before coming to call."
"Ridiculous."
The other man with torch cussed. He continued,
"Maybe what he was this painting of naked lady on the wall."
Some of the men allowed the humor to get to them, but Miargos knew what he saw.
"There are three paintings. Two ladies and a man. The two ladies for Prium and the other lady, and the man for Vulcan. Isn't it Miargos?"
The guy with spear laughed and the rest joined in.
"My sex slave awaits me. Can't stand this stench anymore."
The man with net made for the mouth of the cave as the rest walked to catch up. But Miargos tarried a bit.
"I need sex slaves too, teach me how to --"
He heard the voice of the man with spear fade into the distance as he yet pondered.
He sighed and walked out, running to join the rest,
"What for me y'all."
"Get the painting laid."
He heard one of them men scorn. He sighed.
Then he turned again at the cave for the last time. He swore he saw a light come inside the cave at that moment.
But none of them would wait for him, would they?
