Reunion
Aurora walked unsteadily into Tristan's office in the Exon Corporation building. Carrying some files, he continued to walk closer. Approaching Tristan, who at that time was busy doing something at his desk.
Seeing Aurora who was different from usual, Tristan immediately became suspicious. He was sure there must be something wrong was happening to the woman he had considered as his own sister. For that, he immediately asked a question after making sure Aurora was already sitting in the chair in front of his desk.
"What's wrong? You don't look all right?"
Aurora nodded slowly. He took several deep breaths while massaging his throbbing forehead in pain.
"To be honest, I'm tired," he said slowly. Occasionally the woman's eyes closed as if she really felt something uncomfortable in her.
"Tired?" Tristan's eyebrows knit together. He didn't really understand Aurora's words. "What's causing you to feel tired? Has something happened to you?"
Aurora nodded. Confirming the guess that Tristan put out. More than that. He felt his life was really messed up now.
"This pregnancy, Tristan," she muttered under her breath. "I really don't think I can get drunk every day like this. I'm like someone who wants to die."
"Gosh, Aurora," Tristan said then. "I thought you were in a very complicated problem. Turns out it's just a complaint of pregnant women."
Hearing Tristan's seemingly trivial response, Aurora's emotions were also provoked at that moment. Squinting disapprovingly, the woman replied in a fiery tone.
"Isn't this too complicated?" Aurora asked. "You're a man, so you'll never know the feeling of being drunk, nausea, dizziness, difficulty eating, even emotional instability during this pregnancy process. If you were Sophia, surely you know how bad it feels to be a pregnant woman like me," she spat at length. Aurora's pale face now turned a little red, maybe because she felt annoyed hearing Tristan's words, which looked normal.
Aurora admits, entering the second trimester, her condition is not much different from before. He still feels nauseous, dizzy, and often vomits. Her emotions are still as unstable as ever. In fact, doctor Hansel had said that in the second trimester the condition of pregnancy was much better than before. But it feels like, not the slightest bit of significant change in him.
"Oh my God, Aurora. Why are you being so grumpy? I'm sorry if what I said offended you. Really, I didn't mean to upset you in the slightest."
Aurora waved her hand in the air. Asking Tristan to stop his babbling.
"Forget it. And stop saying emotional things or I'll beat you up!"
Tristan nodded. Not long after, the man rose from his seat. Walk towards one side of the room to pour chamomile tea which was previously available there. The man then brought a special cup to give to Aurora.
"You better drink first. After calming down, then we can talk about today's work deadline."
This time it was Aurora who nodded in agreement. He grabbed the cup that Tristan handed him. Sipping the tea slowly, while controlling his breathing so that the emotions that had peaked before, slowly subside or if possible disappear from within him.
"If only Papa had agreed to get rid of this baby from the start, maybe I wouldn't have bothered. Even now, if it's not a sin, I want to just throw this baby in my stomach."
Staring straight ahead, Aurora seemed to mutter casually. This immediately caught the attention of Tristan who was sitting in front of him.
"Don't be crazy, Aurora. That baby is even your flesh and blood. Do you have the heart to just throw it away?" Now, it was Tristan's turn to look very angry. How could Aurora think about the baby in her own womb? "Just so you know, Sophia is trying so hard to have children. And you? In fact, you want to just throw away your baby? Where is your brain? Just making it from the start, you've sinned. Don't add to your sins by doing things you don't do, ' said Tristan at length.
Aurora was silent. It seems so lazy to respond to Tristan's ramblings which he thinks are not important. The woman chose to continue sipping the remaining tea in the cup until it was finished, she then returned to talking to Tristan, but with a different topic.
"It's better if we just talk about work. Where is the file that I have to correct," Aurora asked.
Tristan then handed over a black folder to Aurora. Ask the woman to read then correct it. While the two of them were absorbed in their respective work for a moment, suddenly there was a knock on the door. Followed by the arrival of Mario who seemed to bring something to be handed over to Tristan.
"These are all cooperation proposals that have been approved by legal parties. Mr. Raphael has also given his approval and signature."
Tristan looked up. The man then opened the folder that Mario had just placed on his desk. Read for a moment, then not long to respond.
"I only need to sign one file, right?" asked Tristan to make sure.
"Yes Mister. Just sign on the white paper. Right next to Mr. Raphael's signature."
That second Tristan also immediately put the necessary signature. When finished, he handed the file back to Mario.
"The files are safe. So who's leaving for Liverpool tomorrow?"
"I'm leaving, Mister," said Mario.
Aurora, who had been focused on reading, immediately turned her head. As if to clarify what he had heard just now from Mario.
"You want to work out of town?"
"Yes, Mrs. Aurora," said Mario, nodding. "Tomorrow and in three days, I will go to Liverpool to finish one job."
"Are you going alone?"
"No," shook Mario. "I went with Angelina, the division head in charge of this project."
"Angelina? Just the two of you?"
"Yes," nodded Mario again. "But if you don't mind and are uncomfortable, we can change people."
Aurora smiled slyly. The woman then shook her head repeatedly.
"Don't overdo it, Mario. Even if you're my husband, I don't care one bit who you want to go out with."
Mario just nodded. Not the least bit offended by what his wife had just said. Making sure what he was doing was done, the man then withdrew, then said goodbye to Tristan to leave the room immediately.

Inside her room, Aurora had just finished all the work. Staring at the pile of files neatly arranged on the table, he suddenly remembered something. Last night, he got a call from some old friends. They specifically asked him to attend one of the parties that would be held in the near future.
"This weekend, campus friends will hold a reunion at one of the famous hotels, Aurora. Aren't you interested in coming?"
Cassie, who was Aurora's best friend when she was in college, suddenly called. Bringing word that there was going to be a celebratory party that she might be able to attend with other friends.
However, because she was pregnant, Aurora seemed reluctant. Despite her fluctuating moods, she is lazy when asked about who her husband is and when she got married because suddenly she is pregnant like now. Also keep in mind that the marriage between him and Mario was carried out in private. None of Aurora's friends or friends know that her current status has changed to that of someone else's wife.
"You guys go. I'm not interested at all," Aurora said lazily.
"Oh, come on, Aurora. You have to attend. It would be a shame if you didn't come to this event," said Cassie. He kept trying to persuade Aurora to melt down and agree to take part in the celebration party. "Besides, Lucas is sure to come to this event."
Holding her cell phone, Aurora looked aghast. He was not at all familiar with the name Cassie had just mentioned.
"Lucas?"
"Yes!" she insisted. "Lucas Fernando. The most popular guy on campus you've ever had your eye on. He's going to be at the party. You don't want to meet him? I heard that Lucas was also after you, Aurora. Too bad, at that time Lucas was in a rush to move had confessed his love to you."
"What kind of bullshit is this, Cassie?" Aurora clicked. He doubted what he had just heard.
In the past, when she was in college, Aurora really had a crush on one of the most popular guys on campus named Lucas. However, before having a relationship, Lucas had to move campuses because he followed his parents who were on assignment abroad. After that, Aurora was never close to anyone again until she finally moved into Tristan's house and decided to start loving him.
"I'm serious, Aurora. You can just ask your other friends. Even during the second year reunion, Lucas came to the event. He had asked where you were. That's why, at this reunion, Lucas specifically asked the entire committee to make sure you come."
Aurora was silent to hear Cassie's explanation. But, to be honest, he really wasn't in the mood to go to an event like this.
"I'll think about it later. If I change my mind, I'll call you."
And now? Aurora looked confused. Suddenly he thought to attend the event. Considering that Mario will also be on an official trip for the next three days. That means, she will be free to go anywhere without needing supervision from her husband.
After all, if there was Mario, how could Aurora be allowed to come to such a party while pregnant. What's more, later he even met a man from the past he once liked.
Determined, Aurora reached for her cellphone, looked for Cassie's contacts and then called her best friend.
"Hello, Cassie."
"Yes, Aurora, what's wrong with calling me all of a sudden? Have you changed your mind and wanted to say you'll be attending the reunion party next weekend?"
Aurora chuckled. Cassie could have guessed what he was thinking. "You, like a psychic, can read my mind. What time does the reunion party start?"
Cassie laughed. As a friend, of course he knew Aurora's habits or character.
"The event is this Saturday. Like most parties. From seven in the evening until finished. You know, they will definitely have a follow-up party."
"Ah, so it seems."
"If you are interested in coming, I will pick you up," said Cassie then.
"Looks like I'm coming."
"Then you just tell me your address. I'll pick you up 30 minutes before the event starts."
"I still live in the old house, Cassie."
"You mean at Quartararo's house?"
"Yes, I have been there from the past. Never had the slightest intention of moving."
"I thought that after Tristan got married, you would leave there."
"Damn it!"
Cassie laughed again. He knew very well that Aurora used to really like Tristan. But after learning that Tristan had married another woman, Cassie had no news of the continuation of her college friend's romance. Have you changed your heart now or do you still feel at home alone?
"That means you are sure to come this weekend?"
"Yeah, I guess so. You can just let me know when you're ready to pick me up."
"Okay. See you next weekend."
