Where is Aurorae
Mario came home from work with a shining face. Before actually getting home, as usual he even stopped by to buy some cake and some of Aurora's favorite foods so that his wife could eat them later.
Mario confidently drove his car to Tristan's residence. When he arrived, he found the house was quiet. Even when he entered the room, he didn't find Aurora there either.
"Samantha, have you seen my wife?"
Samantha, who at that time was tidying up the television room, immediately moved closer. Politely answered the questions Mario gave him.
"Mrs. Aurora is out sir. As far as I remember, she has been gone since this afternoon."
Mario then nodded.
"Did you know my wife went alone? Delivered by a driver? Or picked up by a friend?"
"If I'm not mistaken, Mrs. Aurora was picked up. Because when I offered to prepare the car, your wife refused."
Once again Mario nodded his head. Handing over the box of cakes and food that he brought earlier to Samantha, then chose to wait for Aurora in their room.
For a moment, it crossed his mind to contact. Just wanted to make sure whether his wife was already on her way home, or was she still busy with her activities out there.
However, when he actually tried to make contact, Mario was even more astonished. Made three calls, none of them connected successfully. Either Aurora's cellphone ran out of power, there really was no signal, or it was deliberately turned off. To be sure, this actually makes Mario anxious and thinking. In addition, his wife is currently pregnant. Worried that something had happened to her.
Choosing to sit for a moment on a chair right in front of the dressing table, Mario was still busy trying to make contact. Even took the initiative to send a short message to Aurora.
Mario : Honey... where are you? I've been home since earlier, Do I need to pick you up? I'm afraid something happened to you.
After sending the message, Mario intended to get up and get ready to clean up. However, before he could stand up, his eyes caught something that slightly disturbed his vision. From his eyes, he saw a piece of paper folded neatly and deliberately tucked under a perfume bottle with such a striking color.
Curious, Mario pulled the paper. Then read a message that looks like it was intentionally written there.
Dear Calvin Mario Harald.
A patient, loving, and smiling man who is also my husband and future father of my children.
Excuse me.
I have to leave without saying goodbye first.
I think, the scandal that I have done can no longer be tolerated. My stupid actions really made the Smith family, Quartararo, and also Harald must be very ashamed.
So, I decided it's better to just go than my presence will make it difficult for you and have to bear the embarrassment.
I'm really sorry, Mario.
I've thought about it very carefully and I think you deserve better than me.
Thank you for all the sacrifices, love, and affection you have given. Thank you for being patient with me, being responsible, and trying to give the best for me.
From now on, it's better for us to separate and focus on each other's lives. No need to worry about the baby I'm carrying. I promise to take care of him as best I can.
Don't look for where I am.
I make sure my life after this is fine.
Who will always love you.
Aurora Smith
Mario's jaw tightened. He crumpled the paper he had just read. Take a deep breath, then quickly stand up. Seconds then walked quickly out of the room to return to find the existence of a household assistant who often helps his wife.
"Samantha!" called Mario in a high tone. His voice sounded like a half scream. In fact, tucked into an aura of anxiety which was clearly heard in every call that the man repeated. "Samantha ... where are you?!"
From the direction of the kitchen, those who were called immediately rushed to come running a little. Putting on a surprised face and wondering why the husband of his employer called him so loudly.
"What's wrong Mister Mario?" asked Samantha politely. In fact, there are thousands of questions that he would like to convey. It was unusual for Mario to call him half-shouted like this.
"Don't you really know who Aurora went out with? I mean, who picked her up at the house earlier?"
Samantha shook her head. He did ask. But, he didn't really pay attention to who the figure who picked up his employer was.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see it, Mr. Mario. However, if it's necessary, you'd better check the surveillance cameras. I think everything that happened today must have been recorded there."
Samantha said right. Because all corners of Tristan's house are installed with so many surveillance cameras, they must have recorded the moments when Aurora left the house. It is possible that picking up his wife was also recorded on the camera.
A moment later, Mario immediately stepped out into the security post room. Ask one of the officers to check the surveillance cameras that record all the events and activities that occurred today from various sides.
One by one Mario checked. Then on the outside recording, he finally found a moment where his wife, who at that time was picked up by one of the SUVs that looked foreign to Mario's eyes.
From his eyesight, he could even see how calm his wife's face looked when she entered the car. Unfortunately, none of the figures who were picking up at that time were seen. This of course makes it difficult for Mario to guess or look for clues.
"What are you doing Mister Mario?"
Alexius who had just arrived looked astonished. It was unusual for him to see Mario bothering to visit the security room. Alexius believed that there must be something important that the man was looking for or doing.
"Alexius. I lost Aurora. Looks like she left on purpose. And right now, I'm checking when and with whom my wife went out."
Alexius's brow furrowed. He tried to digest what Mario had just said.
"Mrs. Aurora? Get out of the house? What do you mean?"
Mario took a deep breath. Confused about starting a story or giving an explanation from where.
"I don't know, Alexius. Just so you know, I'm also confused right now. That's why I'm trying to find out who my wife went with. Was it a friend, a colleague, a taxi driver or whoever it was. She can't even be reached right now ."
Alexis nodded in understanding. Not wanting to ask too many questions first, he tried to think fast and at the same time find a solution so he could provide assistance to his employer.
"How about we just check the car number? From there, we can see who owns the car and the address, right? Is the vehicle privately owned or just an ordinary taxi?"
Mario snapped his fingers. A moment later asked Alexiys to start looking for and investigating the car that had picked up his wife
"You better wait inside," said Alexius while calming Mario who looked clearly confused at that time. l Let me help you find what you asked for, sir. As soon as I get a hint, I'll let you know right away."
Mario nodded in agreement. Immediately move from the security post to the house. And as soon as he entered he accidentally ran into Tristan who seemed to have just come home after picking up Sophia.
"Mario, what's wrong? Why do you look so confused?"
Mario stepped forward to approach Tristan. That second also tells what really happened.
"Aurora... Aurora disappeared. She left me on purpose, Tristan."
Tristan was stunned. It was clear from his face that he was shocked and confused.
"What do you mean disappeared?"
Mario then walked quickly to his room. Picked up the paper that he had crumpled up, then took it to be given to Tristan.
"Try to read this letter."
Tristan then received a piece of paper from Mario and read it. After understanding what was written, the expression of confusion that was printed before, now turned into worry.
"Gosh, Aurora. Actually what is he thinking? Why is he so desperate to go all kinds of things?"
"That's it, Tristan. I've been trying to find her whereabouts. You know that Aurora is heavily pregnant now. But, strangely, when she left she was picked up by someone. I'm sure her departure was definitely not of her own free will."
Tristan sat himself for a moment. Not long after, Alexius entered carrying a piece of paper and gave it to Mario.
"I'm sorry to disturb you. However, I have received information regarding the car that picked up Mrs. Aurora this morning."
Mario hurriedly grabbed the paper in Alexius' hand. Read it carefully, then widen.
"For God's sake!" he cried loudly.
"What's wrong, Mario?" asked Tristan then rose again from his seat. "You know something?"
Mario nodded.
"After reading the information that Alexius gave me, I know who caused Aurora to leave like this."
Tristan's brow furrowed deeply.
"Who?"
"My father, Tristan. He must have done all this."
