Gotcha
"How about Tristan, have you got any information about Aurora?"
Raphael, who was currently sitting together in the living room, really couldn't hide his worries. It's been almost a week, but Tristan still hasn't received any information on his daughter's whereabouts.
Raphael was of course worried. He was afraid that something dangerous would happen to the princess. What's more, he also knew that Aurora was currently heavily pregnant and was just waiting for the time to give birth. It's just fear, when her daughter goes into labor without a companion or any accompanying family.
"Be patient, Pa. Alexius is still doing a search. I'm sure that soon we will definitely find Aurora's whereabouts. A few minutes ago he even called and said he wanted to give a report on the development of this case."
Raphael took a deep breath. Not long ago, he found Mario who had just arrived home. Followed by the presence of Alexius, whose arrival he had been waiting for.
"It's perfect for you two to come together," Tristan scolded and then immediately asked Mario and Alexius to sit together. "So how's Alexius? Have you gotten the information? If the results are still zero, I can't help but have to send a lot of police officers to join in the search."
Tristan thought that the efforts made by Alexius and the other men had not yielded any results, Tristan intends to increase the number of personnel so that he can expand the search location. Whatever it is he will do so that Aurora can be found in the near future.
"As I said before, I've got information on where Mrs. Aurora is. It's just that the exact place hasn't been found yet."
Everyone who was there was equally shocked. Intrigued by the information that Alexius will share after this.
"Where is Alexius? Tell me, where is Aurora?" asked Mario impatiently. His face looks more or less like Raphael's. Obviously frustrated and exhausted. Of course he's had trouble sleeping lately because he has to look for and think about how to find his wife as soon as possible.
"From the results of intensive investigations and searches in the past few days, information was finally found that Mrs. Aurora left for Germany."
"German?" repeated Tristan.
"Yes, sir. It is very likely that at this time Mrs. Aurora is still living there. As for the exact address, we are still investigating further. And I am sure that one or two days they will find the exact location where she is."
Tristan and Raphael breathed a little easier. Even Mario also felt the same way. At least they knew the exact country Aurora was in. Just do a specific search. Everyone was sure that the woman would be found in the near future.
“I don't want to know Alexius, muster all your best men. Find my wife as soon as possible. Whatever it is, do your best," Mario ordered impatiently.
“Mario is right, Alexius. If you need something that can help Aurora's search process, just say so. Whatever it is, I will support him."
Tristan chimed in. It's the same with Mario, he doesn't want anything bad to happen to Aurora.
After giving orders to Alexius. Mario decided to immediately enter the room. The intention of the heart wants to rest because indeed he has been so tired the past few days.
Haven't had time to change clothes let alone lie down, Mario's cell phone rang. Judging from the name that appeared on the screen, it was known that the one contacting him at this time was his mother.
"Yes ... what's wrong at this time of night Mama contacted me?"
"Are you asleep?"
"Not yet," said Mario soberly. "What's wrong, Mom?"
“Then, meet Mama right now. Mama knows where Aurora is right now.”
"Sir, is this not an exaggeration? If Calvin finds out that it was you who deliberately brought and hid Miss Aurora, he will surely be furious."
"Take it easy, Jerome. I know exactly what I'm doing."
Jerome let out a long sigh. But the worried look never left his face. He has devoted himself to James Franklin Harald for many years. All the orders that the man gave, he would immediately carry out.
Jerome knew James was a clean man. The man could never once be bribed by any party. Jerome also knew that James was a Family Man figure. The man always tries to maintain the integrity and harmony of his household from all kinds of storms that hit him.
James is also a person who loves his family so much. Only, right now Jerome was feeling worried. The game that his boss was doing right now was indeed very dangerous. Not life threatening. But, it could damage the reputation that James has worked hard to build all this time.
"I know. It's just that I'm really worried. What's more, you deliberately brought Jacob here. All of Harald's extended family knows that Calvin and Jacob have always been at odds since they were little and never got along. And now?"
"I deliberately put Jacob on Aurora's side? Under the same roof, or maybe they are in the same bed now?"
This time Jerome nodded. I don't know what kind of plan his superiors are devising. But, really, he actually felt more worried than usual. Jerome felt that James had been playing on the edge of a cliff and had the potential to fall at any time.
"This is really too much, sir. For God's sake, if I were Calvin, I would be furious. Especially when I find out that my wife is under the same roof as a man I don't like."
James even laughed. I don't know what's funny about Jerome's sentence just now.
"I told you, I can take care of things well, Jerome."
"But ---"
"Sure," James interrupted hastily. "You don't need to worry. I've calculated everything. After all, I'm doing this for the good of Calvin and Aurora too. Now, you don't need to think about it. Just keep an eye on Jacob and Aurora from a distance. If something goes wrong, give me a report immediately. As for Calvin himself, let me take care of everything."
That night, from behind the door of the study at her residence, Diana was seen eavesdropping. She was about to deliver a snack for her husband to eat, and overheard James and his assistant discussing Calvin and Aurora with each other.
In fact, the other day James had dodged when asked. However, today, with her own eyes and ears, Diana heard clearly that it was James who had taken and hidden Aurora from their son.
I don't know for what purpose. But, according to Diana, her husband had gone too far. Everyone also knows that Aurora is in a big pregnancy which might even give birth suddenly. For whatever reason, according to Diana, what her husband had done was too much.
That's why, Diana deliberately waited for Jerome's return. Believing that James' assistant had left his residence, without her husband's knowledge, Diana decided to follow him. Anyway, he was determined this time to get more information.
Accompanied by a driver, he deliberately followed Jerome who apparently decided to go straight home to his apartment. While her husband's assistant was parking the car, Diana swiftly headed straight for the lobby. It didn't take long for Jerome to come in, at that moment Diana called out.
"Jerome," Diana called immediately when she saw the figure of her husband's assistant walking towards the elevator.
"Mrs Diana?" said Jerome half surprised. Turning around, the man stepped as soon as possible, approaching Diana who was standing not far from the sofa available in the lobby.
"I want to talk to you for a minute. Do you have time?"
Jerome nodded. How could he also be impolite by refusing his superior's wife's request to speak.
"Let's talk here," said Diana then.
Jerome nodded again, then after following along then sat down in one of the available chairs. From the look on his face, you could tell that the man looked apprehensive about why Diana had bothered to visit him.
"What's the matter, madam?"
Diana didn't answer right away. Choose to remain silent for a few moments. Maybe also while thinking, where do you want to start the conversation this time.
"Is it true that my husband hid Aurora from Calvin?"
Instead of exchanging pleasantries first, Diana sounded to the point. The middle-aged woman immediately asked a question right to the point, which made Jerome freeze for a moment, before finally answering anyway.
"I don't understand the point of your question, madam."
Diana chuckled. Slightly advanced his face, then gave him a sharp look as if he wanted to skin Jerome if that man dared to lie to him.
"Oh come on, Jerome. Don't play dumb. You think I don't know what you and my husband were talking about in the study?"
Jerome gulped his saliva. Bowed down as if embarrassed like someone who was caught red-handed. It felt so wrong too because he had acted like he didn't know anything.
"I distinctly heard everything you and James discussed in the study. Now I beg you, please clarify and tell me everything. Where is Aurora now? And for what business did my husband bother to take her away?"
Jerome looked confused. His position is certainly awry now. If he told what really happened, he was sure James would be furious. However, even if he kept silent or deliberately lied to Diana, he would also have to accept the risk that his position would be shifted. So, which decision should he choose now?
"Madam, I----"
"Speak the truth," Diana cut in warningly. "For God's sake, have mercy on my son. Somehow it breaks his heart right now to be separated from the person he loves so much. In fact, his wife is heavily pregnant. Don't you have the slightest bit of empathy?"
"Madam..." Jerome shook his head repeatedly. "That's not the point."
"So? What's so hard about being honest and answering my question. Where did my husband take Aurora? And for what purpose did he separate my son and his wife?"
Jerome took a deep breath. It was impossible for him to keep silent. After all, Jerome also thought, if James continued his game, there was a risk that his master could destroy his own reputation.
"Actually... Mrs. Aurora is currently in Germany."
"German?"
Diana's eyebrows knit together. She then wondered why her husband brought Aurora to Germany with all sorts of things. If you want to separate your son and wife and don't want Calvin to find out about his tracks, why not take them as far away as possible. To Africa, for example.
"Yes, madam. Actually, I'm confused about where to start this story."
"Keep it short, Jerome," said Diana. "Tell me everything. What exactly is my husband planning."
Because he was already wet and believed that he could not back down, Jerome couldn't help but decide to be honest. Now, he seems to be thinking, where to start this story.
"As far as I know, initially your husband intended to separate Mr. Calvin and Mrs. Aurora. Mr. James was so passionate, wanted Mr. Calvin to divorce his wife immediately. He thought that the recent scandal involving Mrs. Aurora had tarnished the good name of the Harald extended family. Moreover The public knows that Mr. James is a member of parliament while you yourself are Jakaa who is highly reckoned with. For the sake of maintaining this good name, Mr. James decided to meet Mrs. Aurora secretly."
"And forced Aurora to leave Calvin?" Diana guessed as if she knew what the next story line would be that Jerome would tell.
"That's right, madam," nodded Jerome. "At first, Mrs. Aurora flatly refused this order. She had so many arguments at that time. However, I don't know what Mr. James said until Mrs. Aurora gave in and finally complied to leave Mr. Calvin. Even agreed when Mr. James took her and exiled her to Germany. I think that maybe Mrs. Aurora felt really guilty. That's why she gave up and agreed to separate."
"Oh my God, James!" clicked Diana wanted to be angry. "Absolutely outrageous. So, is it true that my husband planned all this?"
Jerome once again nodded.
"Even more astonishingly, in Germany, Mrs. Aurora was specially accompanied by Jacob, Mr. Calvin's cousin."
"What?!"
Diana was surprised when she heard Jacob's name come out of Jerome's lips. He knew very well that the man he had just mentioned was a sworn enemy who often got into fights with his son.
"Actually, what is my husband's plan, Jerome? What does he want to do? Why must Jacob bring everything around?"
Diana naturally wondered. He knew very well that from a young age Calvin and Jacob were never compatible. The two of them are always fighting, competing, even having disagreements over small things. Diana couldn't even imagine how angry Calvin would be if he found out that his wife was living with a man he didn't like. Even if it's his cousin.
Jerome himself seemed to shake his head. He just didn't know exactly what plan James actually had.
"For Christ's sake, I'm not sure what Mr. James really wants. If you heard the whole conversation between the two of us earlier in the study, you can hear exactly how I asked him to stop this game. Because let's be honest, Mr. James's actions gone too far."
Diana nodded. He understood that Jerome was not boasting. She did hear firsthand how her husband's assistant repeatedly gave warnings.
"Okay then, I'll take care of the rest. Thank you very much for wanting to tell me what really happened. But, before I go, can you tell me the exact location where Aurora is currently living?"
Jerome nodded confidently. Rather than being covered up, it's better for him to just tell everything to his superior's wife. After all, he is sure that the wife of his boss can handle everything so that it doesn't get any more murky and that later it will be resolved properly.
"I will give you the exact address, madam."
Jerome then grabbed a piece of paper from the briefcase he was carrying. Write down the clear address where Aurora is currently living and exiled by James.
"Here is the exact address. You can check for yourself where Mrs. Aurora is there. I hope that after this all the problems that occur can be resolved properly without having to be sacrificed."
Diana nodded. Thank you, then decided to leave immediately. Not to go home, but to change places so that he could meet his son right then and there. He was determined to solve all these problems as soon as possible before they dragged on or even got out of control later.
