Chapter 48

Loud disco songs popped up for Ernaline when they arrived at Trev O Grill owned by Trevon Dwayne Blas. It's obvious from the name of the bar. It is one of the destinations of the rich, artists, children of politicians, and anyone else who can afford drinks here.

"Just wait in a VIP section, that's Sir's order." A butler said as he greeted their group.

Hold hands with Perth as they enter the crowded place of TOG. Ernaline was next to Sav while Senri, Kyle, Jas, and Kai were walking first feeling F4 as demented. Left and right Kaizen and Jasper wave to the women they meet before reaching the VIP section. Trev requested them to perform tonight, which they granted because that was the request of the customers. When they entered the private room, Ernaline's companions searched for a place one by one while Perth did not let her go.

"I heard Serenity will have a solo performance today," Sav whispered to Ernaline after they sat down.

"I thought modeling was her priority?"

"She seems to be pursuing to become a singer. You know, even if I'm in Japan, what's happening here in the Philippines can reach me. Serenity won't stop until she gets Dezrail again." They both turned to Perth's side who was talking to Senri.

What does she care about that woman? Ernaline will take care of what Serenity wants to do.

"Please welcome our tonight’s guest, Miss Serenity Ford." They were simultaneously distracted after they got off the stage because of the name they heard. They just finished their performance.

Ernaline felt Perth's gaze on her but she ignored it. Serenity comes up to the stage wearing her sweet smile. She's wearing a red party dress which is appropriate here at the bar. Ernaline was about to leave when the familiar sound hovered around, so she stopped. Perth looking at Ernaline with his worried face.

"Let's go, Queen," her companions said to her but Ernaline seemed to be right on the stand when Serenity started singing.

Ernaline clenches her fist before making her way to the VIP section. Trev will talk to them before going home.

Ernaline irritatingly opened the door of their VIP room and sat down on the sofa and folded her arms. That song is one of her secret weapons for their upcoming album. How did that end up with Serenity? The tone of the music is different but the lyrics are exactly what are in the song.

"Calm down baby." Perth approached Ernaline and grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her from crossing her arms earlier followed by Jasper.

"Did something happen?" Kyle asked in surprise.

"That woman stole one of Ashleigh's songs," Perth replied.

"What?"

"How is that possible?"

They reacted simultaneously but Ernaline did not answer. Perth memorized all the songs Ernaline had because Ernaline showed him the notebook where her songs for the band were written.

"How did Serenity happen to steal Ernaline’s song?" Jasper wondered before sitting down in the chair opposite Ernaline’s side. Kyle, Senri, and Kaizen remained standing while looking at Perth’s girlfriend.

"Did anyone you permitted any of your songs?" Kaizen asks Ernaline.

Ernaline looks at him before answering his question. "You know I don't want anyone interfering with my belongings. Only Sav and Perth know what the contents of the notebook I always carry."

"How did your song end up with Serenity? Where's your notebook?"

"It's gone. She splats it with her coffee when I was writing earlier for our gig today. Serenity won't be able to use it because everything has been erased; I double-checked it before throwing it in a trash bin. And also all of my songs aired in my studio and radio station. "

"This can’t be,"

"Let her be. It’s just a song,"

Perth and his friends didn’t utter a word after Ernaline said those words. He knows how important to her those songs she wrote. Ever since he and Ernaline got back together, he has cut off communication with Serenity, the only thing left is their engagement. He needs to talk to Serenity’s parents to clear their engagement bias in the coming week.

As they returned to their home, Ernaline still can't get over what happened earlier. How did Serenity find out about that song? No one has heard of it but only Ernaline and Perth on the Radio Station, it is her latest compositions and the band is playing there. Ernaline is the one who’s arranging the song so it is not released to the public.

"Thinking about that song again?" Ernaline noticed Perth's habit of leaning against the side of the door while crossing his arms. Perth approached the woman before sitting down next to Ernaline here on the bed.

"I'm just wondering where she got my song," Ernaline spoke softly.

"Don't worry about it, I'll ask her tomorrow. Sleep now baby, we have more work to do tomorrow morning." Perth kissed her forehead before he pulled her horizontally on the bed as she hugged her. She is used to being next to Perth when she sleeps, she does nothing but hugs him all night.

As Ernaline walks down the wide corridor of the CDC, left and right actors are the ones she encounters. They greet Ernaline but she only smiles at them.

Ernaline was late waking up thinking too much about her song. It's not a big deal but there's a part of her that she can't stop thinking.

"Are you sure that song is from her?"

"That's what I heard. Someone said that she gave them the song piece on purpose."

"But why would she give them?"

Ernaline frowned at the people she met as they talked as they passed her and they even looked at her from head to toe.

'Has something happened again I don't know about?'

When Ernaline entered the elevator she immediately pressed the button where the band's recording studio was. She was also with some employees who seemed serious about what they were talking about.

"Number 1 trending right now across social media platforms, how do we lose?"

"Why are they the same as our style on the other hand? Do they have collaboration?"

"The two groups are in fierce competition so it's impossible."

Ernaline didn't even pay attention to the whispering around. Until the elevator door opened, she continued walking. Ernaline even met them Darryl looked troubled even Annika who was restless from their cubicles. When Ernaline enters the studio, Sav, Jas, Kai, Senri, Kyle, and Perth are gathered on a computer and they seem to be watching seriously.

Ernaline was about to call her companions to asks why they were gathering in front of the monitor when she suddenly heard a familiar song from the computer that surrounded them.

The song of As of Tears is what she hears.

Enaline creased her forehead as she approaches the group. She was curious of seeing what they were watching. A music video that has just been uploaded with the song she wrote for the band.

"Speak up Ernaline," Saviel whispered to her friend who was now silently sitting after seeing the music video they were watching earlier.

After seeing the video, the woman fainted so they were all confused. So when Ernaline woke up, she was silent and could not utter any words from her.

"Why is Queen look stupid?" Jasper asked

"Don't be stupid Jas, the song has robbed us!"

"Huh? What song?" Jasper received a strong rebuke from Kaizen. Saviel told the men that Ernaline was the real owner of that song.

"How did our song end up to those bastards?" Senri asked.

"There's no time to ask Senri. This isn't just the first time Ernaline's song has been stolen." Saviel replied.

"Didn't she say that the notebook was useless? How did they get it?" Kaizen.

"That's what we should know. This thing is not a joke." Jasper promised.

Who had the guts to steal Ernaline’s work? Writing a song is just a hobby for her but she fell in love with just making a song so Ernaline ended up in the band. Saviel turned her gaze to Dezrail who was now holding the woman's hand so Saviel walked away to give way to Dezrail's girlfriend.

"Everything will be alright." Perth.

Saviel's eyes widened in shock as Ernaline pushed Dezrail away and stood up from its seat. They did not move immediately due to shock.

"How can you be so sure that everything will be alright? Someone stole my property! How can I now prove the copyright of it if I don't have a copy?" Ernaline burst out her anger into Dezrail.

Ernaline had just returned to the band here and they have immediately faced a problem already.

"Come down Ernaline." Saviel held Ernaline and seated her again in the vacant swivel chair.

"How can I calm down? I'm the one who was robbed, not you!"

"There is no other way on how to solve this matter, Ernaline, why you are so hot-headset? It's just a song you said and you can make them even better!" Saviel shouts at Ernaline’s face so that Ernaline became a statue.

"Sav." Kyle stopped Saviel and pulled her away from Ernaline. Ernaline’s anger can do nothing but accept the consequences of its song.

"She's annoying!" Saviel said before folding her arms next to Senri.

Perth approached Ernaline's seat and knelt in front of the woman again. His right hand rested on Ernaline's knee as he looked at the woman with understanding.

"I'll talk to Cal later to investigate this issue, baby. Don't think too much about it. I'll see what I can do," Perth said.

"Dezrail is right, Ernaline. Remember we are always on your back we will also find out who’s behind the theft of your songs." Kaizen gives an assuring smile to Ernaline.

If Ernaline wasn't Saviel’s only friend, she might have beaten her earlier.

"Keep this in your mind, Ernaline, you are a Montenegro! It's no joke what your brother can do to track down whoever had done this. You also know HuPoFEL right? You can use us if you want to. I'm here also Dezrail. We can help you out about this, there's nothing you can do about resentment and anger if you pile them on us. Use your power Ernaline," Saviel said.

Sometimes it is also necessary to use resources to find out who wants to fight them.
