Chapter 59

Ernaline was so shocked when she recognizes big brother Rommy. She didn't expect that she will encounter him in Montenegro country.

"I didn't expect to see you here," said Rommy.

Ernaline smiled as Rommy set down a tray containing fruit and food on the coffee table. Rommy invited her to their house so as Sirene's request because she wanted to learn more about how to play the guitar. Ernaline didn't eat breakfast and it was already lunchtime. Ernaline enjoyed Sirene's company that's why she doesn't mind eating lunch.

"I was surprised too when you pop up out of nowhere. So, Sirene is your daughter?"

They simultaneously turned to the child who was playing in the living room with Ernaline's guitar, away from the two of them where they were talking. Rommy smiled as he saw his daughter enjoying what she does with Ernaline's guitar.

"Yes, Serenity and I got an annulment after she drags Sirene into her mess."

"I thought she's Perth's daughter?" Ernaline didn't hesitate to ask, she needs an answer on why Rommy and Sirene are in front of her and why Serenity is not there with them.

"What? Of course not! Serenity left Dezrail because I got her pregnant and then we decided to get married in America. I didn't know that Dezrail and Serenity are together. I just woke up on a bed with Serenity when I was taking my course as a law student in a University."

"I was so busy at my work at that time when Serenity took Sirene and bring her to the Philippines without me knowing, if Renal didn't call me, Dezrail might lock in a situation he didn't deserve."

Ernaline looked at Sirene who was still playing.

"So how do you know about my cousin Dezrail?"

"He's the father of my child."

"What? Then why are you here?"

Ernaline looked at her hands before answering Rommy's question.

"I ran away because I thought Perth and Serenity got married. When I woke up from the hospital, my brother gave me an envelope with the content of their wedding pictures. I was so hurt that time that I wanted to kill myself and then I found out that I'm already pregnant and Perth is the father, my world went upside down because I don't know what to do on how to handle this kind of thing."

"That's impossible Ashleigh before we got here I already delivered all of our documents to Dezrail, they can't get married because it's expired. Serenity's own family refused."

"I don't know who I'm going to believe anymore, Brother."

Rommy heaves a sigh as he looks at Ashleigh. When he meets Ashleigh she was just sitting alone and never talked to someone. He and Renal were together in America before they met Ashleigh.

"You need to tell Dezrail about it, Ashleigh. Look at us, this is where we are when Serenity has gone mad because of her love for my cousin. I also loved her but she chooses to chase my cousin. She even lay a hand on Sirene that's why I decided to take her custody under my name."

Ernaline understands now why Sirene hates her Mom. Ernaline spent the rest of her time talking to Rommy.

And when the sun goes down, Ernaline decided to go home.

"Are you okay if you walk alone to your house? We can accompany you." Said Sirene when Ernaline bid her goodbye.

Ernaline caresses her tummy because she felt her child kicking inside her belly.

"It's fine, Sirene. No need to worry. No one will harm me here you know? This country is my entire property," Ernaline said as she giggles in front of Sirene.

"Sirene don't be naughty to your big sister Ashleigh. Go wash and then I will take Ashleigh home, is that okay?"

Sirene nodded to her father as she obeys his order. Sirene left the two as she runs fast through the restroom. Rommy and Ashleigh left the house as the both of them silently walking in the wide road.

"When will you let Dezrail know about the child? I heard he was so busy with their concerts in the Philippines and so as internationals,"

"Everything takes time. I will talk to him after I delivered my baby in the safe. I cannot risk our child for the possible emotions that might engulf me when we see each other again. I want to face him with all my might - an independent Ernaline Ashleigh, a person that was strong enough to handle those things."

As they reach Ernaline's house, she was confused when she saw a light from her house so she asks herself.

"Why is the light on?"

"Are you expecting some visitors?" Rommy said as he looks at the house too.

Ernaline felt something is not right. She's not expecting any visitors at this time. Her parents and her brother called her before they arrive to visit her.

"You can go home, big brother Rommy. I'll take care of it, thank you for taking me," Ernaline shooed the man away but Rommy hesitated so he decided to be with Ashleigh especially her condition.

"No, what if they are a bud guy? I can’t let you alone especially you are pregnant."

Ernaline gulps her lump as they enter her gate. Every step she makes began heavily even her tummy is hurting like hell as they reach her front door. Rommy is the one who opens her door and to their surprise, they saw Serenity smirking at them patiently waiting on Ernaline's arrival.

What is she doing here?

Before Ernaline could speak, someone beat Rommy from behind causing him to get unconscious.

"Welcome in hell, Ernaline."

Ernaline didn't know what to do when an armed man got out from their hideout and surrounds Ernaline.

"What do you want Serenity?" Ernaline asked boldly but the truth was she was nervous. Not for her but the child in her womb. Serenity got up from her seat as she approaches Ernaline who remained standing at the end of her front door.

Ernaline flinched as Serenity's gaze landed on her stomach.

"I want your baby - dead!"

Serenity gives an order to those men who were standing behind Ernaline. Someone grabs Ernaline's arms causing her to panic.

"Where are you taking me?" Ernaline struggled but held on tight to him. She felt pain inside her womb as if her baby is felt scared also. Ernaline talks to her baby using her mind that everything will be alright but she thinks that her baby was so genius enough to understand what their situation right now is.

"Bring her to Kosovo, idiots." Serenity ordered.

Kosovo is one of the neighboring countries of Montenegro. Ernaline wants to fight back but her child is in danger too. As she drags out from her house, Rommy is left alone in front of her door - unconscious. What would be waiting for her in the Kosovo country with Serenity? She can’t carry her child especially and her menstruation is near. Ernaline drags out to a helicopter that was waiting for her. Those men tried to hop her in and she can't do anything but get inside the chopper. Even before the chopper left, Ernaline saw Sirene looking at her with a confused look as she runs as fast as she can where her father is.

"I'm sorry," Ernaline mumble through the air as the chopper flies out of that country.
