Chapter 99

Ji-a's POV

“..wait guys, I think she is about to wake up.. "

I could hear faint and unclear echoes of voices inside my head as I slowly regained consciousness.

And as my eyelids twitched I could feel this pounding pain right inside of my head, it felt like I had drank too much last night and was having a terrible hangover.

I have never experienced one before, I mean a hangover mainly because I don't drink alcohol but I just know it would feel this way.

Terrible!

Slowly my eyes opened up and it closed back up, blinked a few times before it finally opened up for good - all the while I was feeling that terrible pain in my head and also hearing those voices inside my head.

However I soon discovered that those voices weren't coming from inside my head but that I was actually hearing someone_ No of people conversing.

“ Ah, she is finally awake. Go inform the boss fast. Both of you. "

I took my eyes to the direction of the voice and saw three strange men standing.

Who are they? Where am I? And why is my head hurting this much?

I tried moving...but it proved possible, I couldn't even lift up my hands. That's when I realized I was in fact sitting down. No, I was tied to the chair.

My hands and legs were tied tightly to the chair with a thick hard rope that I can feel pains on my wrists and ankles - both my hands were tied separately to the chair handle by my wrist and my legs tied separately to two of the chair legs.

What really is happening here? Everything seemed confusing and still kinda blurry. Am I in some sort of dream or what? If so I should wake up.. I closed my eyes and opened them but I wasn't waking up...

I looked up and it was only one man now standing, the two others must have left the room. If I remembered correctly, he asked them to go get the boss.

Who is this boss?

“ Ahh, " I groaned.

Why do I have this pain in my head?

“ Who are you? Where am I? "

I asked in a low tone, still trying to recall how I got here. Where exactly is here? I really don't know.

The strange man didn't answer my question but I know he heard me as he stared at me with a smile that spoke.

‘ you will soon find out ' That's what I read from his smile.

I still can't remember how I got here, although bits of memories flashes in my mind and I was left fixing all of them together like a puzzle so I can get the exact picture of what really happened.

I recall waking up and not being able to find any sleep again... then Lee Chun. Yes, I was with Lee Chun in his room, admiring him as he slept...then what? What?

I can't remember.

“ Agg, " I groaned again as I felt those pains in my head. What is causing that pain?

And it is as if I am trying so hard to recollect what happened, it is worsening the headache I was feeling and slowly fear was beginning to creep it's way up my skin.

I really don't know much of what is happening here but I know being tied up to a chair is never a good thing.

“ Where am I, and who are you? "I repeated, this time a lot louder.

The strange man, who was putting on a dark black jacket, black trousers and a blue shirt inside with a black shoes, frowned at me.

” Who are you and where am I? " I demanded.

“ Shut up bitçh! "

He growled, folding his fingers into a fist.

Suddenly his voice didn't seem all strange again, I have heard those rough angry voices of his before.

Where?

I stared at him in the face - his rough angry looking face and it came to me.

I remember now, he is part of those men who tried abducting me the other day, he was the one driving the van, the one that nearly ran Lee Chun over.

Oh God!

If I was scared before, now I am terrified.

“ It's you? What do you want from me? "

I asked even though a big part of me wishes he doesn't answer that, because I am scared that what he might say will be something really devilishly and evil.

“ I said shut up, will you! "

He growled some more looking really irritated and angry.

I kept quiet and the pain in my head at this time has reduced but I am now feeling a great pain in my chest as my heart was racing.

How did they capture me? I thought I was in the mansion, how then did I get here?

Suddenly I remembered the strange colourful lights that I saw and how I was intrigued by it that I went outside the building to check what was coursing it.

“ I heard the princess is awake. " A male voice caught my attention and I turned to the door where there was a man in an expansive looking coloured robe with lots of jewellery on him.

From his neck, ears and fingers was filled with expansive golden and diamond jewelries.

He wasn't alone, by his side were those two men that were here early on and on seeing them now again, I recognized them as the men along with the driver that tried abducting me that day.

There was yet another man with them, tall and somewhat handsome. He is at the extreme end, behind them and he had this bad man feel about him, the way he looked at me. Like I was some kind of insect he wanted to squash.

“ Yes boss, I sent Mubo and Bumo to inform you as soon as she woke up, just as you had ordered. "

The man that was left with me said, the driver and the man with many jewels on, who he referred to as boss nodded in approval.

“ Very good. " He then took his gaze to me, staring at me inappropriately which made me feel sick within.

I hate the way he was looking at me.

“ My friend, you did an excellent job, I know I can always count on you. "

The boss said, now looking at the man at the extreme end.

“ It's nothing. " He said, stepping forward, then took his gaze to me “ It was easy really, this one is attracted to the light. " He said with a lopsided smile.

It was then that I realized what had happened, he was the one coursing that colourful light I saw back in the mansion.

The colourful light was a bait and I foolishly fell for it.

God! How stupid can I be? Following a colourful light, like some curious cat. Now I am trapped , about to be killed or even something worse than that.

I am stupid! so stupid!

However, how did he know I would be awake by that time? He couldn't possibly have known, because that was a very odd time. I am normally asleep at that time, so how did he know his plan would work?

It was like he could read my mind because he started explaining himself.

“ I know you must be wondering how I knew you would be awake and not only awake but be in Lee Chun's room at that moment. "

He said and I foolishly nodded my head.

I know it won't change anything but I just wanted to know.

“ Well, simple. I had everything planned out and I had a little help you see. Yes I didn't work alone, for the job to work perfectly we needed some help from the inside. Let's say someone who knows what you will most likely do when you are bored and also is in charge of the kitchen, " He paused to see if I was catching up.

“ I don't understand, one of the servants helped you? How? " I asked, surprised and confused. He just smirked.

” Did you think waking up in the middle of the night without being able to fall asleep again was a coincidence? It's not my darling. You were on drugs. All of you were drugged. " He said and I was left dumbfounded.

” W.. what? "

“ Yes, everyone in that house was drugged but it was two different kinds of drugs, two very special drugs.

You see one of the drugs was used on you alone and the other one for the rest of the family and servant. The drugs used on you will make you have a very short nap, you will fall asleep normally but it won't be long, you will wake up 4- 5 hours after sleeping and won't feel sleepy again.

While for the rest, they will fall asleep normally but the drug will make them go into a deep sleep once they are asleep and they might sleep until 12 noon. Your darling boyfriend Lee Chun will still be sleeping by now. "

He said then started laughing devilishly and the rest joined him in laughing.

I was just shocked, which of the servants could have possibly helped him drug everyone?
