Chapter 79
"We're here, we're here" Kahin had called the hospital when we were in the elevator they are already waiting for us.
"There is no time, she will have to give birth right here, the girl is outside. How long has she been like this?" Asks a doctor, the people around him stop to see what is happening at the entrance of the hospital.
"About 10 minutes," Kahin yells excitedly.
“Come on mom push, your baby will be fine, come on,” I do what he asks me in the middle of crying, I don't like that voice, “wait ... Wait, don't push,” he almost yells at me, I can't hold back, but I try to do what they ask me, “the baby has the cord around her neck and it's half out already,” the doctor does something that really makes me scream, “let's push now,” I do it with all my strength, when he takes my baby out, spend a few seconds and I don't hear her cry.
"Why didn’t she cry?" Kahin asks, but they don't answer him, they take my daughter, wrapped her up and running, they also take the other one from me and in the same way they take her away while they take me the other way.
"Kahin ..." I call him, when he comes to my side I look at him, "she did not cry," the tears do not stop coming out, Kahin's frightened gesture tells me that nothing is right.
"You can't come in sir, not this time" they stop Kahin and put me in a room to attend to me.
"Where are my babies? Why didn't my daughter cry?” The headache is such that I feel deaf.
“Calm down mom, you shouldn't lose control, you'll see that they'll be fine,” the look she gives her assistant gives me a bad feeling, but I'm not saying anything else, I'm just crying in silence, I should have stayed at home with the discomfort I had, I had to stay still. When they clean me and prepare me they take me to the room hours later, I see my family in the room, they all have sad faces and I don't like the silence.
"I thought my daughters would be here. Where are my babies? I want to see them,” I get upset feeling my heart aches.
“Quiet Sweet,” Kahin approaches me, “calm down,” he doesn't tell me more, I don't like this at all.
"Everything will be fine," my mother whispers.
"Don't talk like that ... Don't tell me that everything will be fine, don't do it ..." from the tears in my eyes I hardly see. Waiting for my daughters and without stopping crying at the thought that my daughter did not cry, I fell asleep.
"I told you she'd be fine," I hear Malcolm's excited voice.
"She's strong just like her mother," Francesco laughs.
"My beautiful girls." My mother's crying makes me open my eyes.
"You woke up" my aunt comes over to me and kisses me on the forehead.
"You never stop scaring us Olethea," Fatima shakes her head.
“Here are our daughters,” Kahin approaches with the babies and passes them to me, they are really beautiful, “they look like you in everything,” seeing their blond hair I cry with joy, my daughters are both fine.
"They have the color of my eyes." I look at both of them. "They're fine, honey ... Our daughters are fine." My brunette kisses my lips.
“You did it my love, you were brave,” when looking at his eyes, they are red.
“We made it sweet,” I give my girls a kiss, “what happened? Why did they take time to bring them?”
Kahin sighs, “from what I have been told the baby was born ..." he swallows with difficulty, and looks away so that he does not see my crystallized eyes "our daughter did not show signs of life, but they revived her without giving up and here she is,” he caresses our daughter's cheek.
"Nasya, miracle of God, that's what I want my daughter to be called." Everyone in the room approaches.
“It's very nice that name,” hearing the voice of my best friend excites me, “you gave birth the same day that I screwed up, and that baby was already giving us a scare, it had to be yours,” she hugs me and kisses me.
"You shouldn't be walking Carla."
My friend denies, “today they will pass me to this room so that the two of us can be together" she smiles at me "what will you name the other one?" I look at the older one.
"Marilí," Kahin commented, "our son is named after me and I want one of our daughters to be named after you." Look at those present. "I present Marilí and Nasya Hamann, my beautiful princesses." He smiles.
"And this is when you will get green gray hair," laughs Malcolm, “poor of you three, you have four beautiful blondes to take care of,” I know where Malcolm is going.
"Fuck me!" Loan protests, "Malcolm stops saying stupid things," he growls at him.
"Let them be happy it's fine" my mother looks at them laughing.
"Define happy," my sunshine asks her, “my Francesca won't come out for a day if it isn't with me." He says it seriously.
"Horror of compulsive jealousies" laughs Lucelia.
"You can't be like that," I reproach them, "you must let them live," I look at my daughters.
"But since Aunt Fatima is here, everything will be fine,” she winks at us while laughing.
"We just have to enjoy them as much as we can," my aunt Lourdes takes Marilí in her arms.
I look at each one in that room and I realize that in life things come in addition, a man who bought my virginity and who I never thought I could forgive him for doing things in bad taste made me see that people on many occasions disguise their good deeds with bad. Since Kahin Hamann came into my life it was turned upside down, but it only happened by not wanting to see the obvious, that man was the one destined for me. Life tested us more than once and we were able to stand up, we learned from all those experiences and now we just have to go ahead and put what we learned into practice.
"We should get married?" Kahin lets out, leaving us all in silence, the first me, my heart skips a beat, I never thought of getting married, that marriage doesn't suit me, but I just need to see that man and remember everything, both the good and the bad.
"Let's get married!" Everyone applauds, my man is not very romantic, but I love his way of being, he does things as he see fit, he doesn't care about being what he isn't.
