Chapter 119 No Way

*Bang!* "Jake!!" I called his name the moment I saw him falling to the ground. No! Fuck!

Everything went wrong; something is going on in here. I shoot the man who shot Jake and boom! Headshot. I'm definitely furious right now.

When I got near Jake, I feel him still breathing... he's alive, thank God. "Hold on Jake."

"Jacob!!!" I called Jacob who continuously fighting a man in combat, he turns the man's body holding the head on the top of his shoulder as he twisted it, making the man lifeless. He immediately runs towards us.

"Take him to the nearest hospital. Leave everything to us." I stated in a serious tone.

"But Blake, this situation cannot be handle." I know, but even with his presence here, we can't do anything.

"Time is running Jacob; we will buy the time before her arrival. We can do it. Go now, Jake needs you." I said and he nodded, I sighed in relief.

The moment he carried Jake I went to look for Xenon and the rest, just as I was about to turn I saw a familiar man lying on the ground. He seems lifeless... oh no!

"Fuck! Xenon!" I called his name and run in his direction but I was stopped by the man standing beside him.

"Move closer and he'll die." He stated in a dark tone.

I was shocked, unmoved by the person in front of me.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked feeling myself weakening.

"This is what I like." He shrugged smiling evilly.

"You traitor!" I aimed to raise my gun but,

"Kill me, but he will be killed first." And he laughs like a madman.

I have no choice "I surrender." I stated.

Claire, please come early... I'll try my best to buy them some time.

2 hours... all I need is 2 hours. Can I handle it? Well, I have to.

Now I know why everything went wrong because of this man... the rat.

Xenon's POV

I woke up feeling the pain in my body. I groaned the moment I moved my head, I can barely move.

What happened? Did we win? I tried remembering what happened... the explosion.

Oh shit! The explosion!

I gathered myself and force to open my eyes. I looked at the surroundings... this is the school gym.

"Thank God, you're awake Xen." I immediately looked at my right side to see Lucas, in a ripped dirty blue shirt with a wound in his head, tied in a chair.

"What happened?" I asked and looked at myself, my hands and feet are also tied up in a chair.

"Everything messed up and we just woke up like this." My head suddenly turned to the left side to see Adrian wounded and also tied up, thank God they're alive.

"Do you have any idea about the rest?" I asked in curiosity, they shook their head, suddenly I turned confused. "How did it happened?" This wouldn't mess up if there's nothing wrong.

"I said let me go! I can walk by myself, okay?" We suddenly looked at the front door to see someone's coming... Blake with two unfamiliar men dragging him.

"Tch. Will you shut up Blake!? You've been ranting for over an hour!" followed by blue who was also dragged by a big man.

What happened to them!? They looked like beaten up by a tiger. I barely recognize them from their bruises.

"What happened to you two?" Lucas immediately asked when they were thrown to the side and tied with chains. This is bad.

"Beaten up I think." Blue shrugged the obvious. Tch.

"Oh Xen! Happy to see you here alive!" Blake's eyes light up the moment he recognized me. Right now, I can see Jake in him.

"What happened to him?" Adrian asked.

"He was forced to take a drug with high tolerance. Maybe, after an hour he will be back to normal." Blue explained like it was not a big deal. It was terrible!

"Any idea what's happening?" I asked in confusion.

"Not completely, but I heard Blake said earlier about a rat in the house." I was shocked after hearing it. Rat!?

"You mean???" Adrian clarified.

"I think so too, this wouldn't happen if there's no traitor in the group. While we were being tortured, I spied around and also interrogated one of their men. All of our people were captured and put into the underground cells including Ricky and Martin-" He coughs, Blue's in bad condition.

"How about Coby?" Adrian asked in total nervousness. I hope he's fine. Every revelation makes me sick, this is all my fault, I dragged all my friends into hell.

"Coby? I have no idea of his whereabouts. I did not see him in the cells; I thought he's with you..." He stated in confusion.

"Oh God, I hope he's well." Lucas prayed, I know he's worried. We're all damn worried!

"Who might have betrayed us?" Adrian asked once again.

"I don't have any idea. Have you seen Bryan and Diego?" I asked in worry remembering our last conversation.

That was the moment when the victims got out safe and the facility will...

"The explosion of the facility was successful, but I haven't seen Bryan and Diego, I don't even know if they got out safe." He said as he wipes the blood that flowing out of his mouth.

I can feel my heart wanting to explode any moment because of mixed emotions, anger, worry, madness. I can't even think right!

"Blue! What's that flying turtle doing above your head?" Blake asked all of a sudden while looking above Blue's head like a drunken man.

"I told you multiple times! The turtle couldn't fly, it's walking!" Blue yelled in annoyance.

"But... but it is flying," Blake said like a child who might cry any second.

"It's walking! It doesn't fly! Aish." Blue seems like a child now.

"Did you also took the drugs Blue?" Lucas asked curiously.

"I did not, he was the only one they forced to take it, seems like Blake knows everything." He said and ruffled his hair.

"You also acted like a child, in fact, you equaled him." Adrian chuckled.

"Staying with this madman for an hour makes me stupid, aish." He defended.

"I'm sorry, this is my entire fault." I suddenly stated apologetically.

"No Xen, this is not your fault. We are into this, we work as one right." Adrian said letting out a weak smile.

I nodded, he's trying to sooth me but I know more to myself that everything started because of... me.

"Don't blame yourself Xen, we are warriors, and this is the job of true warriors, with the fact that we're here, not just to fight but to save," Lucas said.

He's right.

"We've been into many situations like this and got out safe. This is nothing." Blue shrugged his shoulder like it's not a big deal.

"Where's Jake and Jacob?" Lucas suddenly asked, yeah, I merely forgot about them.

"I have no idea, I tried asking him but he keeps saying... gone somewhere." He said pointing to Blake who keeps on playing with the chains in his hands.

"Woah! Tsk, tsk, tsk. Poor you." Our attention was caught by the person who just came in through the door; he's wearing a black hood that hides his face from the light. But... his voice, it's so familiar. "It seems like you're not complete, I couldn't find the others. Lucky them." I can feel him smirking. "Once I find them, they're... dead."

"Who are you?" I asked with so much curiosity.

"Can't recognize me Xen?" I can sense him grinning. His voice was very much familiar, but I'm afraid that my intuition is right. Oh please, no.

"That voice... no way," Adrian murmured.

"Fuck." Lucas cursed lowly.

The person slowly pulled his hood and the moment I saw his face, I froze.

"N-no way." I let out a deep breath but it seems like, I lost my breathing.

This couldn't be happening...
