'We're in chaos.' Are the men lurking around the campus involved with that said chaos?

Adrian immediately sits straight. "Xenon still locked himself in his room and he won't talk to anyone. What's wrong?" His voice laced with worry.

"The new School Head is Kurt Baron, son of Marco Baron. He's here for revenge, looking for his father's killer. All of the students and personnel in this school are in danger." After she said those words all of us went into silence, no one dared to talk.

Fear. That is what I feel.

"We are the Insigma Fighters, we fought the fearest battle. We can handle it, right?" After a moment of silence, Coby asked with hope.

"Not this time. Kurt Baron is the underboss of the Cadena Mafia." We immediately turned towards the person who just talked.

Zoey??? How did she get in here? Oh yeah, I forgot to close the door but why is she here?

Wait... what!?

"What!? The underboss of Cadena Mafia!? The second strongest Mafia in the entire world, that's insane!" Coby exclaimed.

"Cadena Mafia is also known as ruthless. Their way of leading the dark world is entirely different than the rest." Adrian stated. "How come we didn't know about his child?"

"We have to get the students and personnel out of this school," Lucas suggested.

"Unfortunately, we can't. The school is surrounded by Kurt's men, the forest is already close and there's nothing we could do unless... fight." Uno stated that makes me cringe in fear.

"We can still get out of here, right?" Cassy asked void with fear, Coby immediately hugged her in comfort.

"Referring to 'we', yes we can. But we can not leave all of the students and personnel behind." Uno coldly stated.

"How did you know all about that?" I asked curiosity filled me.

"I do not like the presence of those big men lurking around the campus. So, I eavesdropped and heard everything... including the announcement that will be held right now." She explained.

"Eavesdropping too?" I turned to Zoey the moment I heard her sarcastically stating to someone, when I saw who it was, Xenon, leaning on the banister of the staircase.

He walked down the stairs.

"What will be the announcement about?" He asked ignoring Zoey.

This is the first time I heard him talk after the battle but I found no emotions at all.

"The a-" Uno was cut off.

"Oh about the announcement. Don't worry I set a CCTV Camera in the gymnasium so you will see it... live!" Zoey cheered like there's nothing bad happening around while taking her laptop out of her bag.

"You knew that this will happen ahead of time!?" Lucas asked partly in shock.

"Sort of, just know about it a few days ago." She shrugged.

"You! Agh!" Cassy tweaked her hair in frustration.

"Why come here just now?" I asked.

"Well, it is not of my business. I'm not a student nor a teacher here so, I'm out of the situation." She calmly explained while sitting pretty on the couch turning on her laptop.

I sighed. Zoey is a happy-go-lucky girl, and I can't do anything about it. I'm sure she's not here to help but probably to watch.

"Oops! Here it is! So excited!" Zoey giggled clapping like there's an amazing movie to watch.

We immediately gathered behind her to watch it.

I could see many students gathering inside the gymnasium including big men surrounding all corners.

"As you all know, you will have a new school head, I will introduce to you... Kurt Baron! Please, a round of applause." The speaker said and there's a man in a suit revealing himself. I can hear applause and screams coming from the students and teachers.

"Whaa!" I suddenly heard Cassy screamed, we looked at her and she was already covering her mouth while her eyes set straight on the laptop. I could sense Coby glaring at her.

I can't blame Cassy, that man is truly hot and handsome.

"OMG! He's so hot!" I heard Zoey giggled.

Tch. And then I felt an arm sling around my waist, from the smell... I knew it was Adrian.

"Thank you, everyone, for a warm welcome," Kurt said and give his smile that made the girls giggles and scream once more. "I will be honest to all of you. As you can see, we have lots of men securing the whole campus. They're not here to protect you, but to prevent you from escaping."

I heard the students gasps, the others couldn't believe what they just heard. The teachers are probably shocked. While I can see the smirk on Kurt's face even from afar.

"I am Kurt Baron, son of Marco Baron. I came here to avenge my father's death and the killer turns out... coming from this school. Whoever you are, come out of your shell, I know you... I know all of you. I'll give you 4 days to come to me or else, all of you inside this campus... will die." After he said it, I heard cries and screams of fear.

"If you ever tell the police or FBI, you will just bring your friends to their death because I planted bombs around the campus and it might explode anytime I wanted. I believe you will come out within 4 days or you'll know what will happen. Anyone who tries to escape... prepare your grave." He said and suddenly walked out releasing his true color... an evil behind an angelic face.

"Bullshit!" I heard Xenon cursed.

"So what now?" Cassy asked. "We were already held hostage without even knowing."

I looked at Uno "This is out of my power. Kurt has control over the explosives and he's smarter than I expected. We're trapped, unless..."

We all suddenly looked at Zoey. She's a royal for goodness sake!

"Why are you looking at me? Sorry, I did not come here to fight." She smiled sweetly. "If someone, held my cousin much tighter then it would be much easier for you." And she smirked while turning her laptop off.

Just then, we suddenly turned to face Xenon.

This guy is a fucking idiot!
